WIN METHOD - YANKEE BASEBALL
2025 SEASON - RACE TO THE PLAYOFFS
Perfect timing YANKEE fans. Here we are just a quarter into the 2025 season, just won a three game series from the Mets, and are leading the American League East Division by five games. A nice start to the season, and without our "ace" starter Gerrit Cole, who is out for the season after under going Tommy John surgery.
The good news from the 2024-2025 hot stove season is, no, make it great news, the YANKEES did not sign Juan Soto. 😊. The YANKEES and Brian Cashman had to go with Plan B. The result being, the YANKEES signed Max Fried, who has stepped right into the 'ace' position as starting pitcher. Signed Cory Bellinger, who has settled in as a left handed force in the lineup, as an everyday outfielder with spectacular defense. Signed Paul Goldschmidt who has been a gem offensively and defensively at first base. Allowed Jason 'Martian' Dominguez to be an everyday left fielder, who at 22 years of age, is still learning and developing as a hitter and outfielder and doing it at the Major League Baseball level.
Then there is Aaron Judge, there is nothing I can say that you all can't see for yourself, what Aaron Judge brings to this team and MLB baseball, both on and off the field, his character and his integrity. A true Most Valuable Player.
In other good news, the YANKEES have just had DJ LeMahieu return to the lineup after suffering several odd injuries which have kept DJ on the disabled list (DL), more on than off for over a year. Initial results, albeit just a few games have been positive. The on-going development of Will Warren, a young starting pitcher who has pitched his way onto the rotation and seems to be improving with each start, building confidence and acumen. Luis Gil, who suffered a high-grade lat strain in late February at spring training camp is on the mend, and we may see him join the starting rotation in late June. Jonathan Loaisiga has returned to the bullpen relief staff after a year on the disabled list with major elbow surgery. He has made three appearances so far, and has looked very dominant.
YANKEE youngsters, first baseman/catcher Ben Rice, and catcher Austin Wells are still blooming and growing, getting regular playing time at the MLB level while contributing to YANKEE wins. A sad note, Oswaldo Cabrera who had won the starting third base position, broke his ankle at home plate this past week, scoring a run. He will be out for at least three months, but should be back by September.
Once more, thank you WIN METHOD baseball fans. This blog will break two billion two hundred million views in a couple of weeks. That will happen because of your unwavering belief, viewership, and comments on this blog. You are the most knowledgeable and intelligent baseball fans in the world. You all know how to judge baseball talent using the WIN METHOD philosophy of producing when it counts and matters the most.
Let's all enjoy this season, the run to the playoffs, and beyond. The best is yet to come. LETS GO YANKEES, LETS GO.

«Oldest ‹Older 801 – 877 of 877First when it mattered most productive at bat from Yankees, and it is a big one as Grisham hits a grand slam home run in fourth inning for a 5-0 Yankee lead.
Yanks up 8-1 after 6.
Final. Yankees win 10-2. Just like drawn up on the WIN METHOD drawing board. Great starting pitching from Rodon six innings allowing 1 run for the win. Lineup producing often enough when it matters most for 10 runs. And the bullpen closing it out over the last three innings giving up just 1 run. Grisham with the big blast of the game, a grand slam HR to break a 1-1 tie. Volpe with a very late 2 run HR for the 9th and 10th runs.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, 10-2. Rodon gets his 15th win.
Nice win, six in a row for first time this season. Keep it going.
FINAL GAMBIT is racing today at Kentucky Downs Racetrack, race ten at @ 5:45PM EST. I know many of you are following him, DO NOT BET ON HIM TODAY, AGAIN DO NOT BET ON HIM TODAY.

Seven lefty Yankee bats tonight. Produce when it matters most. Another great start from Schlittler and the bullpen closing it out should be enough for the win. Lets Go Yankees.
Lets go Yankees.
0-0 after 3.
All even at 1-1 thru fifth inning. Good tough game.
Schlittler goes six innings allowing one run and the score tied 1-1 after six. Another excellent and brilliant game from the youngster.
Williams in for the seventh and gives up the tying run. 2-2 after 7.
Two-two after nine. Extra innings little league style. Lets go Yankees.
Going to the 11th.
Yankees score 3 in eleventh with first hits when it mattered most in the game. Doval in for the save. Ghost runner scores on two ground outs. One more out.
Strike out. Yankees win 5-3.
Theeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnn, 5-3 in eleven inninngs.
Schlittler with dominant six innings of one run ball keeps Yankees in game. Williams gives up one run to send game into extra innings. Yankee lineup for the first time in the game comes alive to score three runs in the eleventh inning for the win. Bednar earns the win with two shutout innings in the ninth and tenth.
Big win against a tough pitcher tonight. Fried tomorrow and a Yankee win will cap a perfect week of wins.
The Yankee with Fried starting will win in a romp to sweep the White Sox and conclude a 7-0 road trip. Bet on it.

The Yankees with six right-handed bats in the lineup and Luis Gil on the mound, are playing for the sweep of the week. LETS GO YANKEES!
1-1 after 2.
Yanks up 2-1 after 5.
2-2 after 7.
Hill gives up a HR in 8th. Yankees down 3-2. Last chance, 3 outs left.
Final. Yankees lose 3-2. Gil did his job leaving with a 2-2 tie after six. Bullpen and offense failed. Hill allowing the HR that loses the game. Also a defensive play wins the game by Sox right fielder ex-Yankee Tauchman taking a 2 run HR away from Stanton. Only one hit and run created by Yank offense other than Judge HR. The WIN METHOD is the gold standard at analyzing baseball games as to why teams win and lose.
Rotten 3-2 loss. Didn't produce when it mattered most today. 6-1 road trip. Can't complain too much.
Good game, but a loss, 3-2. Big week next week. Series with Houston and Toronto at the Stadium.
Happy Labor Day baseball fans.
Yanks have an off day tomorrow. Happy Labor Day to all. God bless Donald Trump, America, and the American people.
Back in action tomorrow. Yanks host Astros for three game series. Fried, Warren, Rodon, Yankees starters.
Would be fine to win these two series this week. The team knows what they have to do. It's produce when it matters most.
Chisholm 2 run homer and Grisham grand salami has Yanks on top 6-1 after six innings.
Fried does his job, goes seven outstanding innings allowing just one run and four hits. Leaves game with Yanks leading 6-1 thru seven innings. Bullpens turn for two innings.
Final. Yankees win 7-1. Got an outstanding start from Fried, seven innings 1 run. Got production from offense, Chisholm 2 run HR, Grisham grand slam, and Chisholm tack on HR for 7 runs, Bullpen two shutout innings from Blackburn. Pure WIN METHOD baseball.
Nice 7-1 win of first game with Astros. Warren tomorrow, and hopefully a bounce back outing and a win. Keep it going guys.
If Wil Warren comes up big tonight and the lineup produces when it matters most the Yankees will win this series tonight.
MAJOR ELECTIONS ARE COMING UP THIS YEAR WITH EVEN BIGGER ELECTIONS NEXT YEAR >>>>> HERE IS SOMETHING TO PONDER WHEN YOU VOTE >>>>> IF YOU VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT A CONSERVATIVE OR REPUBLICAN YOU WILL BE VOTING FOR PEOPLE WHO WILL DESTROY AMERICA, AMERICAN FREEDOMS, AND THE END OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION DOWN. *** VOTE CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN ***

The Yankees have been playing some pretty good baseball recently, keep it up, keep producing when it matters most, and keep winning.
Yanks up 1-0 through 2. Stanton HR.
Yanks up 3-0 after 4.
Yanks up 4-3 after 6.
Yankee bullpen cracking as Cruz gives up a run in the 6th and Weaver gives up a run in the 7th for a 4-4 tie after 7.
Yanks bullpen, all for one and one for all tonight. An equal opportunity failure as Williams gives up 4 runs in the 8th and will take the loss unless the Yanks have a big 9th inning rally in them. From leading 4-1 to 8-4 behind.
Final, Yankees lose 8-7 as bullpen blows up. Warren went five innings and left game leading 4-2. Cruz gave up a run in 6th, down 4-3. Weaver gave up a run in 7th, even 4-4. Williams with the help of Doval gives up 4 runs, down 8-4. Yankees score 3 in the 9th on Bellinger 3 run HR to lose 8-7. Home plate umpire was a pathetic joke, but that is commissioner Manfred baseball.
One rotten loss.
Final game with Astros is now a rubber game. Hope the Yankees come out fuming and on fire for a resounding win.
The bullpen better be able to close out the game tonight after their disgrace last night. The games are won by team efforts not individual efforts.

Volpe the black hole? Bullpen better tonight? Rodon "ace start"? Lineup produces when it matters most? Lets Go Yankees.
Yanks up 1-0 after 2.
Rodon goes six strong innings allowing 2 runs, 1 of which was because of umpire incompetence, throwing over 100 pitches and leave it to the bullpen with Yanks leading 4-2.
Yanks up 4-2 after 6.
Weaver in for seventh inning. First batter HR. Now 4-3 Yanks lead.
Yankee bats come alive in the 8th. After the flailing Volpe K's with 2 on and 1 out, for the 2nd out of the inning, McMahon with a BIG when it matters most rbi single, for an insurance run 5-3 lead. More, Grisham follows with a 3 run HR for a 8-3 lead. Hope that's enough cushion for the bullpen.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnn, 8-4.
Final. Yankees win 8-4. Nail biter down to the last pitch of the last two outs with the tying run at the plate twice. Rodon the win which he truly deserved. Bats of the night McMahon with 3 hits and 3 rbi's. Grisham with a 3 run HR.
Hard fought 8-4 win, which takes the series 2 games to 1. Yanks head home to host Blue Jays for a three game weekend series.
Too much nerve racking baseball goin' on. After a win it goes away fast. After a loss it goes into the next day.
Schlittler, Gil, Fried for the series this weekend in the Bronx with Toronto.
The only player not contributing offensively is Volpe. He seems lost at the plate.

Lets take this series. How? one game at a time playing WIN METHOD baseball. LETS GO YANKEES!
Nice to see Judge in rightfield tonight. And nice to see Volpe on the bench.
Rough start for Schlittler and the Yankees. After striking out first two batters, Schlittler gives up 3 runs, all on base hits. One double, 3 singles, and a walk, throwing 40+ pitches. Toronto does come to play. Then Yankees go 3 up 3 down on 9 pitches. Oh my!
Yanks down 5-1 after 6.
Final. Yankees humiliated 7-1. Stanton solo HR Yankees only run. Schlittler didn't last two innings throwing 65 pitches. Better luck tomorrow.
Being positive at least the loss wasn't a nail biter or close loss we could have, should have won.

Gil 2 runs allowed or less. Lineup 5 runs of more. Bullpen 2 runs of less. Then the Yankees will win and even series.
Volpe again, 1st and 3rd nobody out, he strikes out. He should not be playing.
Yanks up 2-0 after 2.
Just completed top of sixth as Bellinger throws out tying run at plate. Yanks lead 2-1. And the field is being covered because of rain.
With the rain delay, Gil should be done for the day. Six innings allowing one run. I was very pleased with his pitching today. It looks like he is maturing very nicely. His demeanor, composure, and maturity may be turning the corner. He really looked good, and against a very strong lineup and team. Will still need three innings from the ballpen for the win.
About a 1 and 3/4 hour rain delay. But Yanks score a run for a 3-1 lead after six.
Weaver in for the 7th and his first pitch is a double. Give me a break.
Yanks up 3-1 after 7.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnn, 3-1.
Yanks win 3-1. Series even, rubber game tomorrow with Fried starting.
Final. Yankees win 3-1. Gil goes six innings allowing one run for the win. Weaver 2/3 inning, Cruz 1 inning, and Bednar 1 1/3 innings for the save. Dominguez rbi single and Wells 2 when it matters most sac flies for the Yankee runs and win.
Rains came at a good time as Gil completed the sixth inning, leaving only nine outs for the bullpen, plus Yanks scored an add-on run in bottom of sixth.
