WIN METHOD - YANKEE BASEBALL
2025 SEASON - RACE TO THE PLAYOFFS
Perfect timing YANKEE fans. Here we are just a quarter into the 2025 season, just won a three game series from the Mets, and are leading the American League East Division by five games. A nice start to the season, and without our "ace" starter Gerrit Cole, who is out for the season after under going Tommy John surgery.
The good news from the 2024-2025 hot stove season is, no, make it great news, the YANKEES did not sign Juan Soto. 😊. The YANKEES and Brian Cashman had to go with Plan B. The result being, the YANKEES signed Max Fried, who has stepped right into the 'ace' position as starting pitcher. Signed Cory Bellinger, who has settled in as a left handed force in the lineup, as an everyday outfielder with spectacular defense. Signed Paul Goldschmidt who has been a gem offensively and defensively at first base. Allowed Jason 'Martian' Dominguez to be an everyday left fielder, who at 22 years of age, is still learning and developing as a hitter and outfielder and doing it at the Major League Baseball level.
Then there is Aaron Judge, there is nothing I can say that you all can't see for yourself, what Aaron Judge brings to this team and MLB baseball, both on and off the field, his character and his integrity. A true Most Valuable Player.
In other good news, the YANKEES have just had DJ LeMahieu return to the lineup after suffering several odd injuries which have kept DJ on the disabled list (DL), more on than off for over a year. Initial results, albeit just a few games have been positive. The on-going development of Will Warren, a young starting pitcher who has pitched his way onto the rotation and seems to be improving with each start, building confidence and acumen. Luis Gil, who suffered a high-grade lat strain in late February at spring training camp is on the mend, and we may see him join the starting rotation in late June. Jonathan Loaisiga has returned to the bullpen relief staff after a year on the disabled list with major elbow surgery. He has made three appearances so far, and has looked very dominant.
YANKEE youngsters, first baseman/catcher Ben Rice, and catcher Austin Wells are still blooming and growing, getting regular playing time at the MLB level while contributing to YANKEE wins. A sad note, Oswaldo Cabrera who had won the starting third base position, broke his ankle at home plate this past week, scoring a run. He will be out for at least three months, but should be back by September.
Once more, thank you WIN METHOD baseball fans. This blog will break two billion two hundred million views in a couple of weeks. That will happen because of your unwavering belief, viewership, and comments on this blog. You are the most knowledgeable and intelligent baseball fans in the world. You all know how to judge baseball talent using the WIN METHOD philosophy of producing when it counts and matters the most.
Let's all enjoy this season, the run to the playoffs, and beyond. The best is yet to come. LETS GO YANKEES, LETS GO.

«Oldest ‹Older 1201 – 1228 of 1228Toronto wins 6-1. Lead series 3-2. Off day tomorrow. Final game or 2 in Toronto Friday and Saturday.
Toronto playing some sparkling and solid WIN METHOD baseball, but still need a win to ring the final bell.
It isn't over yet, but how many stat frauds thought the LA Dodgers couldn't lose the WS and the Toronto Blue Jays had no chance.
I find it very interesting that stat frauds when challenged about their meaningless stats they refer to and use, can't defend them. They make up lies when shown how their stats when shown that the stats can be wrong, tend to start insulting the challenger, who is correct in their challenge. While on the other hand the WIN METHOD is never wrong, ever. This infuriates the stat frauds and they tend to get even more violent in their rhetoric and insults. Which underscores their title as stat frauds.
Dodgers score 3 in third for a 3-0 lead, on a 2 out 2 strike when it matters most hit from Betts.
Dodgers leading 3-1 thru 6 innings.
L.A. wins 3-1, series even at 3 games each time. Final game of WS and 2025 MLB season tomorrow night. Winner will be champions of baseball.
The Dodgers hold on 3-1 to force tie breaking game seven. The Dodgers survived men at 2nd and 3rd nobody out bottom of the 9th challenge by the Jays. Popout and soft bloop double play 7-4 ends inning.
Lets go Yankees
Bichette with a three run third inning home run off Ohtani for a 3-0 Jay lead.
Toronto leading 3-1 after five. Bullpen game now. It ain't over until it's over, spoken by a ten World Series rings holder.
Dodgers score one in sixth. Cut Blue Jay lead to 3-2. Another great game.
Toronto adds a run in their half of seventh to take 4-2 lead.
Muncy homers for Dodgers in 8th, trail 4-3.
Dodgers tie it on solo HR from Rojas in 9th. 4-4 with Jays coming to bat.
Jays load bases with one out in ninth, but don't score as Dodgers come up with two 'when it matters most' defensive plays to save game, and send it into extra innings.
This final game of the 2025 season and deciding game of the World Series will be remembered in the annals of baseball history.
4-4 after ten, on to the eleventh.
With two outs Dodgers Smith just hit solo HR in 11th for a 5-4 lead. Blue Jays coming up.
Dodgers win 5-4 as Jays Kirk grounds into a game ending double play with men on first and third with one out. A very tough loss for Toronto and a never give up win for LA. A WIN METHOD defining game of both sides producing when it mattered most and also failing when it mattered most. For every action there is a reaction.
I can't believe baseball season is over, and ending on such a high note over the last five innings, concluding with a double play with a runner on third. Now the abyss of lack luster other sports, all of them combined does not equal baseball.
I may be delusional…
…but here’s why I think the Yankees can win next year, and this was written while I was very very tired, so pardon any word jumbles.
After losing Soto, it immediately became a rebuilding year. They didn’t have Stanton until July. And they lost Cole for the year.
In that time they had the two pitchers who had the most wins in the league (Fried and Rodon). And then they had to call up two pitchers who had no business being in the Majors right now (Warren and Schlittler).
Schlittler became a Yankee legend, while Warren still is green but has some good good stuff when he is ON.
Rodon and Cole are still going to be out until probably May, but there are are some really good pitching free agents, and there are some good pitchers in the minors that could come up as well.
They’re going to be forced to take a chance on Cabby at shortstop with Volpe out, and I think the competition at shortstop would be good for Volpe. The dude wants to play everyday, so now he has to prove how much he wants it when he comes back from the IL.
Boone actually started thinking for himself near the end of the season, look how he kept Schlittler out against Boston. And he, for once, took a bit of accountability during the post season press conference. It’s not something he does. Like he didn’t follow his usual script that we all know and love (ITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US WE’RE THE BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL)
Cashman got us good trades at the deadline in Cabby, Bednar, and McMahon. And now we have them for a FULL season, because the Yankees actually started to do well after the trade deadline.
And multiple players said that there were some major wake up call moments in the locker room and Stanton basically telling the team to pull their heads out.
There was also more team bonding, which lead to them going on a win streak, and they crawled back to tying with the Jays.
And I think the biggest thing for me is Judge actually showed emotion, both good and bad emotions. The dude is so perfectly media trained that he doesn’t show anything, almost to a fault. Like he almost seems nonchalant about wins and losses. You could tell how much he was hurting in the post game interview when they got knocked out. If the Captain of the Yankees FINALLY wants it, and FINALLY shows that he wants it, I think everyone is in trouble next year.
Also, after watching the WS, I was not impressed by either team. On paper, the dodgers should have won in 4… On paper, the Jays should have won that last game. It was REALLYYYYY interesting to me, because neither team was playing scary.
I don’t know. I’m shocked at how far they got this year in all honesty. I thought they weren’t gonna even make playoffs in July. But then they actually started playing like a team, not relying on their home runs by the end of the season, getting better defensively, being grittier. They had amazing improvement come August and September. And with some new faces in the coaching staff this next year, I think it’s gonna be a fun year.
I guess we wait for the hot stove to warm up.
Bellinger has opted out of his contract. It is the right thing for him to do after the season he just put up. He will get more money and more years. At least five years and 100K+ contract I would think.
The Yankees are exercising their club option on Tim Hill. Hill will return to New York on a $3MM salary in 2026. The Yankees are not picking up their club option on right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga. Loaisiga will head into free agency rather than collecting what would have been a $5MM salary next year. Two smart moves by Yankees as Hill is a plus while Loaisiga is a negative.
The voters in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City have voted. Those who voted for the demonrats have spoken, speaking loud and clear their hate for America and the freedoms of America, while putting the ignorance on full display. They have made their bed and now they will suffer the consequences of the lice in it.
Demonrats are well funded by every terrorist organization in the world. They are trying to take America down from within. The onslaught is just beginning. A whole lot of bad guys out there.
Don Mattingly is leaving the Toronto Blue Jays and is now on the open market.
