WIN METHOD - YANKEE BASEBALL
2025 SEASON - RACE TO THE PLAYOFFS
Perfect timing YANKEE fans. Here we are just a quarter into the 2025 season, just won a three game series from the Mets, and are leading the American League East Division by five games. A nice start to the season, and without our "ace" starter Gerrit Cole, who is out for the season after under going Tommy John surgery.
The good news from the 2024-2025 hot stove season is, no, make it great news, the YANKEES did not sign Juan Soto. 😊. The YANKEES and Brian Cashman had to go with Plan B. The result being, the YANKEES signed Max Fried, who has stepped right into the 'ace' position as starting pitcher. Signed Cory Bellinger, who has settled in as a left handed force in the lineup, as an everyday outfielder with spectacular defense. Signed Paul Goldschmidt who has been a gem offensively and defensively at first base. Allowed Jason 'Martian' Dominguez to be an everyday left fielder, who at 22 years of age, is still learning and developing as a hitter and outfielder and doing it at the Major League Baseball level.
Then there is Aaron Judge, there is nothing I can say that you all can't see for yourself, what Aaron Judge brings to this team and MLB baseball, both on and off the field, his character and his integrity. A true Most Valuable Player.
In other good news, the YANKEES have just had DJ LeMahieu return to the lineup after suffering several odd injuries which have kept DJ on the disabled list (DL), more on than off for over a year. Initial results, albeit just a few games have been positive. The on-going development of Will Warren, a young starting pitcher who has pitched his way onto the rotation and seems to be improving with each start, building confidence and acumen. Luis Gil, who suffered a high-grade lat strain in late February at spring training camp is on the mend, and we may see him join the starting rotation in late June. Jonathan Loaisiga has returned to the bullpen relief staff after a year on the disabled list with major elbow surgery. He has made three appearances so far, and has looked very dominant.
YANKEE youngsters, first baseman/catcher Ben Rice, and catcher Austin Wells are still blooming and growing, getting regular playing time at the MLB level while contributing to YANKEE wins. A sad note, Oswaldo Cabrera who had won the starting third base position, broke his ankle at home plate this past week, scoring a run. He will be out for at least three months, but should be back by September.
Once more, thank you WIN METHOD baseball fans. This blog will break two billion two hundred million views in a couple of weeks. That will happen because of your unwavering belief, viewership, and comments on this blog. You are the most knowledgeable and intelligent baseball fans in the world. You all know how to judge baseball talent using the WIN METHOD philosophy of producing when it counts and matters the most.
Let's all enjoy this season, the run to the playoffs, and beyond. The best is yet to come. LETS GO YANKEES, LETS GO.

Win first game of series. How? PRODUCE WHEN IT MATTERS MOST BY EVERYONE.
0-0 after 3.
Scoreless after three. Nine up nine down for Yankees.
Rain delay top of 5th Mariner's runners on 1st and 3rd, two outs, 3-1 count on batter. Looks like it be an hour. 8:15 now.
Yankee sixth, Judge bullet single to center. Bellinger single to right. Stanton 3 run HR for a 4-0 lead.
Yankee bats explode, everyone is hitting, 1 in 5th, 5 in 6th, 4 in 7th for 10-0 lead,
Hartlieb in for the 8th gives up 3 runs to the first three batters before getting an out. Hamilton now end to end this nonsense. Does the job, inning over, Yanks up 10-3.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnn, 10-3.
Final. Yanks win 10-3, take first game of series. Judge and Wells home runs. Warren with the win going 5 2/3 scoreless innings for a better start than MLB six innings and 3 runs.

Seven lefthanded bats for the Yankees. Stroman and the Yankee lineup need to produce when it matters most to win this game.
One inning done, Yanks 0-3 when it mattered most. 0-0
Yanks down 1-0 after 3.
Yankees trail 2-0 thru four. Stroman failed when it mattered most twice allowing 2 two out rbi singles. Yankees offense, first two batters of game walked then 12 consecutive outs. 0- 3 when it mattered most in first inning.
Thru six innings, the Yankees do not have a hit and are down 2-0.
Yankees come to bat in eighth inning, have no hits, and are down 5-0. Score 3 runs in 8th, and then score 2 runs in 9th for a 5-5 tie. On to extra innings. Come on guys pull it out.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnn, 6-5 in tenth.
Miracle in the Bronx. From down 5-0 and no hits thru seven innings, the Yankees do it 3-2-1, scoring 3 times in the 8th, 2 times in the 9th and 1 time in the 10th for the win. Oh so many guys producing when it mattered most for the win. Williams gets the win, pitching a 1,2,3 tenth stranding the fraud ghost runner.
Yankees win 6-5 in ten innings in one of their best comeback wins of the season.
What a come from behind win. The YANKEES down 5-0 and not a hit in the game come to life and so many players hit the WIN METHOD button and produce when it mattered most, to score 3 runs in 8th, 2 runs in 9th, and 1 in 10th for a 6-5 WIN. Baseball, the worlds greatest game, played seven months a year, six games a week. No other sport even comes close.
One heck of a comeback win by the Yankees tonight. I never gave up, and the Yankees came through for the win.
If the season ended today all 3 wildcards would come out of the AL east.
Who saw us pulling out a sweep with Warren, Schlittler and Stroman as the three starters?
The Chicago Cubs visit Yankee Stadium this weekend for the final series before the All Star game. Yankee pitchers listed to start series are Rodon, Fried, and Warren.

Produce when it matters most carries the day and wins games/
Yankees take 3-0 lead in third inning on sacfly by Judge and 2 run HR by Bellinger.
Bellinger second two run homer of the game in fifth giving Yankees 5-0 lead.
Yanks up 6-0 after 6.
Bellinger hits his third 2 run home run of the game in 8th inning. 11-0 Yanks after 8. Rodon pitches eight scoreless innings for the win. Just need 3 more outs. Ain't losing this game.
Final. Yankees win a laugher 11-0. Rodon goes eight innings of shutout pitching, never in trouble, and dominant from start to finish. Every Yankee in the lineup contributed to the win with the hitting star of the game being Bellinger with three 2 run home runs.
Yankee bats going good right now. Two more games before mid-season break. Fried and Warren start for Yanks.

Final. Yankees lose 4-1, never in it. Lose last two games and last series before the All-Star break. Enjoy the break Yankee fans, a lot of baseball ahead, and when it matters more than ever.
Yankees outscore Cubs in the three game series, but lose series. Sad.
Only baseball today is fake baseball, the home run derby, a meaningless show to take the fans money. It was decent at the beginning, it isn't anymore.
MLB All-Star game tonight. Nothing else.
Watching the HR Derby last night, I found it exhilarating and heartwarming. Cal Raleigh winning the contest with his father pitching to him and his 15-year-old brother catching was inspirational to say the least. Kudos to the Raleigh family.
Off day for MLB. All-Stat game 6-6 tie and American League comes back from a 6-0 deficit after six innings to tie game in ninth inning. Pretty much a dud meaningless game.
It's amazing, MLB and Manfred finds another way to destroy baseball, with his home run hit off to decide the outcome of the all-star game. What a joke.
Madman Mamdani visits Wahington DC to meet demonrat law makers. SCUM meets SCUM. Also known as "birds of a feather flock together". Their goal, destruction of America and you, me, us, the American people.
First series to start the run to the playoffs this weekend in Atlanta for Yankees. Rotation not determined yet.

WIN METHOD fans who are interested in horse racing. I just wagered 400 hundred dollars win and place on Gosger in the 12th race at Monmouth Park. Hurry, there is only about 8-9 minutes left to bet.

Made my wager.
I had him across the board. 20-20-20 bucks.
Thanks WIN METHOD.
Warren with a 1,2,3 first inning. 0-0.
Yanks down 4-0 after 4.
Yankees trying to come back. Score 4 in 6th to cut Brave lead to 7-6. But then Loaisiga in and gives up a run. Trail 8-6 after six.
8-8 thru 8. Need a couple of runs.
Grisham two out grand slam in 9th for 12-8 lead. Williams in to try to save it.
Yanks win 12-9, Grisham rbi single and grand slam home run, Volpe with 2 two run home runs the big bats. Rubber game tomorrow. Stroman starting.
Final. Yankees win 12-9 on game winning grand slam in ninth by Grisham. Weaver gets the win, and Williams the save. Seven Yankees each scored at least one run and had at least one hit. Five Yankees had at least one rbi, with the two top guys Grisham with five and Volpe with four. Yankees came back from five run deficits twice for the much needed win.

Hit and pitch better than the other team usually means a win. Lets go Yankees.
Rodon struggles all night and grinded through five innings throwing 100 pitches. Allow four runs all in the fifth, two on his own and the other two on pathetic fielding by Peraza and Volpe. Yanks down 4-1 but should only be 2-1.
Yankee defense failed, those two errors changed a 2-1 game to 4-1. That changes the pressure of the game. The Blue Jays have been on some run, and have played .667 baseball for since May 1. That is 2 1/2+ months.

Yanks up 3-1 after 4.
Another Volpe error opens door for Jays to tie game. 4-4 after six.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! 5-4.
Final. Yankees win 5-4. A very much needed win to say the least. Chisholm 3 run HR, Bellinger solo HR, and the game winning HR from Rice in 9th inning. Volpe tried to give away another game with yes, another error. Hamilton pitching to one batter, gets the win. Williams works 9th inning for the save. Weaver the unsung hero working 1 2/3 shutout innings to keep Yankees alive. Almost forgot, Loaisiga did what he could to blow the game also.
It was a big win tonight. Now if Fried is Fried tomorrow we can take this series. That would be gigantic.

Yanks down 2-1 after 4.
Yankees trail 6-4 after six and are playing some of the most horrid defense as you would ever want to see.
Final, Yankees embarrass themselves with four errors and sloppy basic fundamentals. Fried the loss, the bullpen no help, the defense horrid, and the offense three home runs for all four runs. Lose 8-4.
Off day tomorrow. Better come out with all barrels blazing Friday.
Disappointed with tonight's game. Like driving a car with a flat tire trying to reach the next gas station.
Yankees lose 8-4. Poorly played game by Yanks. Too many errors with give away runs attached to them. Better wake up quick, because if they keep doing what they are doing they can kiss the playoffs good-bye.
Peace and quiet off day for Yankees and fans.

I honestly hope everyone in the Yankee organization knows what has to be done, by now. Particularly the men on the field. It's put up or shut up time, win or go home time.
The Yankees have a new third baseman. They are acquiring Ryan McMahon from the Rockies. The Rockies will receive two prospects in return. One of the two prospects is left-hander Griffin Herring, the other is right-hander Grosz. The Yankees are taking on the remainder of McMahon’s contract. McMahon is making a $12MM salary this year, leaving a bit more than $4MM to be paid out, then will make $16MM in each of the next two seasons
Ryan McMahon should make third base defense great again, hope his bat can produce when it matters most.
Bellinger first inning and Wells second inning solo home runs give Yanks 2-0 lead after two innings.
Yanks up 2-0 after 4.
Warren goes five and leaves even 2-2. Two run homer cost him. Hill in for sixth.
Yankee bullpen implodes in 7th allowing 4 runs aided by another Yankee error. Yanks quickly down 6-3 and have not produced when it mattered most in the game. Phillies have, with a 2 and 3 run home run. Still time to come back.
Volpe HR and Judge sacfly get 2 runs back and trail 6-5 after 7.
Hamilton gives the 2 runs right back giving up a two run home run. Down 8-5 with only two innings left.
Final. Yankees go from a 3-2 lead after six innings to a 12-5 loss, as bullpen allows 10 runs in the last three innings. Something has to change. You can't fire the whole team.
A nightmare loss tonight. Up 3-2 thru six innings and lose 12-5. Pretty bad.

Judge not in the lineup.
Yankees trail 4-1 after four innings. Stroman goes 3 2/3 showing nothing.
Looks like this series is a loss. Yankee trail 9-1 in seventh inning.
Final. Yankees lose 9-4 and were never in the game. Stroman gets the loss.
About a month ago a few people mentioned had the Yankees hit bottom. There were mixed feelings about it. As of now they are lower than they were then, and the question is still open, have the Yankees hit bottom yet?
Again, tomorrow the Yankees have to play a game to not get swept in another series. Rodon starts.
Sadly, the Yankee world is waiting for the outcome of the exam on Aaron Judge's right elbow pain. If it's TJS, this year is over and out.
Aaron Judge news. Aaron Judge is dealing with a flexor strain in his right elbow that will send him to the 10-day DL. Judge's UCL is intact, but he is expected to serve as the Yankees' DH once he returns from the DL. I guess that is good news compared to what it could have been.

The Yankees have made their second trade before the trade deadline on July 31st, acquiring 29-year-old infielder Amed Rosario from the Washington Nationals. The Yankees gave up pitchers Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez, an outfielder in the Dominican Summer League.
Final. Yankees win 4-3. Rodon 5 1/3 for the win allowing all 3 runs. Loaisiga, Weaver and Hill go 2 2/3 innings of shutout pitching and each earns a hold. Williams pitches a 1,2,3 ninth for the save. Finally, a win.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Winnnnnnnn, 4-3.

WINS -- Just got to win, win, win, win.
2-2 after 3.
Yankees quietly go down 4-2. 2-2 after one inning, then Yankees never threatened over the last 8 innings, producing just 3 singles.
Final. Yankees lose 4-2. Schlittler gives up 3 runs for the loss. Yankees scored both of their runs on first inning bases loaded walks. That was the offense for the game.
Fried starts tonight, I don't know what I can say if the Yanks don't win. Sometimes it looks as if they are sleepwalking their at bats.
Volpe AGAIN, another error, gives Rays two first inning unearned runs.
3-3 on Bellinger 3rd inning 3 run home run.
Yanks up 7-4 after 8.
Final. Yankees win 7-5. Fried the win. Williams the save. Went down to last pitch because of Volpe second error of game in ninth, nevertheless, a win.
Yanks get a 7-5 win. Bellinger 3 run HR the big hit. Fried goes 6 2/3 allowing 4 runs, 2 unearned because of Volpe misplay in first inning. I guess you can say Volpe evened it out with a rbi single and solo HR.
I'm looking for an ace game from Warren tonight and a win, if the lineup comes to play.

Williams in for the 9th up 2-1. Please, please.
Williams pitching ninth inning, walk, stolen base, HR, Yanks down 3-2. Ground out 4-3, ground out 4-3, fly out to left. Three straight easy outs after the damage done. I'm done.
Volpe HR ties it at 3 after nine. Extra innings.
Both ghost runners score 4-4 thru tenth.
McMahon walk-off rbi single in 11th wins it 5-4.
An edge of your seat nailbiter game from start to finish. Most importantly, the Yankees win 5-4 in 11th inning.
Final. Yankees with a walk-off win 5-4 in 11th inning. From start to finish the game never was never anything but a tie or one run difference. Hill earned the win in relief. Grisham, Bellinger, Stanton, Volpe, and McMahon each with a rbi between the 8th and 11th innings after the team had just 2 hits over the first seven innings.

Afternoon game today 1:00PM. Would be a big win today. Lets go Yankees. WIN!!!
It appears that rain will have an affect on todays game. Hope for the best.
Good start. Goldschmidt first inning double, Bellinger rbi single, Stanton 2 run home run. 3-0.
After being given a 7-0 lead Stroman implodes in 4th inning giving up 4 runs. My take, Stroman should never start another game for the Yankees.
Rain delay this instant, torrential rain. Bottom of fifth. Yanks up 7-4, runners on 1st and 3rd, one out. Game is official if called.
Over two hour delay now, rain light now, looks like they want to finish the game. Could start again within a half hour.
Yankees with a couple of deals today, it looks to me as if, they have improved the team reasonably well, filled some holes, and are more well rounded.

No let downs, no swell heads, production when it matters most, means WINS.
0-0 after 2.
Three innings played, 0-0, double no-hitter.
Rodon a perfect example of what happens when you don't throw strikes. Yanks give him a 6-0 lead after four innings, and he has not given up a hit. Rodon gives up 4 runs in the 5th putting the Marlins back in the game, can't finish inning and can't earn the win, and throws over 100 pitches. What a wasted effort.
Breathing room, Grisham 3 run HR in 7th for a 9-4 lead.
Jake Bird one of the new bullpen arms in for the seventh and out in the seventh after getting one out and giving up 4 runs. Yanks up 9-8. Bednar another one of the new bullpen arms in, ground out, solo HR 9-9. Unbelievable.
Bednar gives up another run, Yanks down 10-9. Did we really upgrade?
Volpe leadoff HR in 8th makes it 10-10. Bednar stays in for the 8th and puts up a goose-egg.
McMahon with a two out rbi single followed by Volpe rbi double gives Yanks 12-10 lead.
Doval blows the save 12-12 runner on 3rd one out.
Infield single Yankees lose 13-12. All four new Yankees, every one of them, played a major part in blowing this game. One of the worst losses I have ever seen.
Final. Yankees lose 13-12. I can't go into everything that happened. Here is what cost the Yankees the game The seventh inning started with the Yankees leading 9-4. The Yankees added a run in the 8th and 2 more in the 9th for a total of twelve runs. BUT, the Yankees three new relief pitcher allowed 9 runs between them in just 2 1/3 innings for the loss, aided by a 2-run error by another newcomer Caballero in right field. Horrid loss.

Forget last night's nightmare, easily done with a win.
Final, Yanks blanked, only get 2 hits and lose 2-0 to the Marlins. Series lost and Yanks starter tomorrow is Gil, making his first start of the season. Can the Yanks avoid the sweep?
Gil starts tomorrow. We need him to be really good.
Todays Yankee Lineup

Welcome Mr. Gil, good luck, it has been too long, take it easy, keep calm, throw strikes.
Yanks down 3-1 after 3.
Yankees trail 7-3 thru seven. Gil gets a by today and maybe even next start or two. Lets see if he improves moving forward. Looks as if Yankee starters will be Fried, Rodon, Warren, Schlittler, and Gil.
Final.Yankees get swept out of Miami 7-3. Gil takes the loss. Yankees struck out 14 times. Hard to win when you don't hit the baseball. 😒😤😡😠🤬👿
Me thinks the Yankees embarrassed themselves this weekend. 🧹🧹🧹 7-3 loss today, and boot in the behind as they leave Miami.
The Yankees have 50 games to play in the 162 game season. The need to play .600 ball to make the playoff. That is 3 out of every 5 games for 30-20 record the rest of the way and a 90-72 final record.
After watching the Yankees humiliating themselves against the Marlins this weekend, I watched the Tiger - Philly game tonight. A breath of fresh air. The Phillies won 2-0. The game was crisp and clean with double digit magnificent defensive plays by each team. A great display of baseball by two playoff bound teams.
On to Texas for three game series, Fried, Warren, Rodon. 2 of 3 or better needed,
It all comes down to the manager, who sets the standards. It is as simple as that.
