Hello WIN METHOD Yankee fans, the smartest baseball fans on the face of the earth. It has been a long time since I last blog posted. However, there have been comments within the blog from me. So here we go for 2021.
First, the Yankees will be in the playoffs again this season, but they also will play in the World Series. In talking with players, they are not happy with what they have achieved the past few seasons. They feel they have something to prove and want to do it now. Most of the players have undertaken a new or modified training program instituted by the training staff. Look for less injuries and less severe injuries this season. That will be a step forward and a plus for the team as a whole.
Second, Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon both feel very optimistic with what each will contribute to the Yankees success this season. Both players believe their injuries are behind them. As of now, the Yankee starting rotation looks like it will have four men in the first four spots right now. Cole, Kluber, Taillon, and Montgomery. The fifth spot will be determined in March. The guys who do not make the fifth spot will either be sent to AAA Scranton or long relievers on the big team. Then the big guy Louie Louie Severino will make his return to the Bronx in June. The pitching staff looks solid and has many fall back arms to rely on. The bullpen remains solid and strong, also with several young arms looking to make an impact.
Third, the lineup will be solid again, more important, will be healthier. Runs will be put on the board. The biggest question mark will be at catcher. Catcher Gary Sanchez has been a black hole in the Yankee lineup recently, ala afraud in the past. Gary Sanchez is being mentored and talked to by coaches and trainers. Sanchez feels it is helping him, As the season starts, we will all see if it has. Sanchez himself is the only person who can really make it happen. It is up to him. A big WIN METHOD season from Sanchez would be a big help to the lineup and the team. If he does what he has been doing the last couple of seasons, Gary's days could be short lived.
As you all know I always read all posts by all of you who post here. Looking at the numbers of views recorded on the WIN METHOD blog there are also an enormous number of fans who read the blog consistently. You fans will take this blog, the number one Yankee baseball blog in the world over the one billion mark somewhere around June 1st this year. You are the people who take this blog in the direction you want it to go on a daily, weekly, monthly, or whatever time frame basis. This past year, we saw a very shortened baseball season, we saw a disgusting Chinese created virus, spread throughout the world by the most foul Chinese government, killing millions of people from all countries across the globe. We had a presidential election here in America. The election was the most corrupt election in the history of America stolen by the most corrupt politicians in America's history. We now have the most corrupt politicians in America's history running our country. They will do their best to destroy America. Hopefully, you the people will do whatever you need to do to stop the destruction.
It is now back to baseball and a great Yankee season. Thank all of you for reading and posting your views and opinions in this blog. You are the people who have made the WIN METHOD blog the best and greatest Yankee baseball blog, forum, or site in the world. We here are WIN METHOD will continue to have no signups, no ask for no personal information from you, no advertisements, and no bans of anyone. You, your views, and your opinions do not get canceled here. Unlike big tech, other baseball forums or sites which control you by banning or canceling you, here, that will never happen.
One more thing before I conclude. I would like to recognize the life and pay my respects to RUSH HUDSON LIMBAUGH III who passed away February 17th. Rush was the greatest radio and political commentator of all time. Rush's radio career spanned over thirty years. Rush's show was three hours a day, five days week, fifty-two weeks a year. Rush was right 99.8% of the time and one of the finest American patriots who believed in freedom and pursuit of happiness of every single American. Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.
It is baseball time again. Lets look forward to a great season and as always LETS GO YANKEES.

«Oldest ‹Older 1401 – 1600 of 2766 Newer› Newest»Final. Yankees win 12-1. Bats alive. Taillon with his longest and best game of season. Seven innings, 1 run, 4 hits, 1 walk and 9 strikeouts in a very strong effort for the win.
Chapman is used in the 9th to wee if he can right himself and he struggles mightily. Not want you want to see. Loads the bases but gets the final out.
One win does not a season make. Need to do it 7 out of 10 times for the rest of the season.
German starts tonight's game. Do it again and again guys.
Think positive and think WIN METHOD.

Torres back in. Andujar out, trade bat for defense.
Nelson starting for German tonight because German out with a root canal.
Yanks get 3 in first. Two out RBI single by Voit followed by two out two RBI single by Torres. WHEN IT MATTERS MOST!!!
Nelson gone in first inning 3 walks and HBP gives Mariners one run, bases loaded, two outs, Cessa coming in. Cessa gets ground out to finish inning getting out of the jam.
Yanks up 5-1 after 2.
Yanks up 5-1 after 5.
Yankees lead 5-4 thru 8.
Final. Yankees win 5-4. Five runs in first two innings then nothing but hang on to win as Green closes it out in ninth. Have won the Seattle series and go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon.
Monty and the Yankees try for the sweep today in Seattle. Four o'clock game.

Odor not in against a lefty. Locastro is a breath of fresh air who plays hard and hustles. Would be nice if some of that rubs off on several Yankees. Todays goal, sweep.
Only WINS can get a team into the playoffs. Nothing else matters. We need to win today, tomorrow, the next day, and every day.
Monty gives up solo HR in 1st and 2run HR in 2nd. Yankees trail 3-0.
Yanks down 3-0 after 3.
Montgomery goes 6 2/3 strong innings and leaves with Yankees trailing 3-0 as bats anemic once again with one hit over seven innings.
Final. Yankees lose 4-0. One hit and two batters hit by pitch, that was the Yankee offense for the game.
On to Houston for final series before All-Star game break. Fri 8PM, Sat 7PM, Sun 2PM.
Need to win this Houston series starting tonight.
Cortes, Cole, and Taillon go for the Astro's series.
If the lineup doesn't produce more often when it matters most the team will not win enough to make the playoffs. You have to score to win. If your pitchers give up x amount of runs the lineup needs to score at least x amount of runs plus one. Nothing to it but to do it.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Nestor Cortes (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
8. Brett Gardner (L) CF
9. Tyler Wade (L) LF
Odor and Wade playing with Voit sitting out.
Yankees with four hits in first two innings, but nothing when it counts most, so 0 runs.
0-0 after 2.
Two out two men on double by Gardner when it counts gives Yankees 2-0 lead in fourth.
Yanks up 2-0 after 4.
Yanks up 4-0 after 8.
Final. Yankees win 4-0. Cortes sets ball in motion with 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball. Luetge, Green, and Loaisiga close it out with 4 1/3 shutout innings. Gardner and LeMahieu both 2 RBI doubles for all the Yankee runs. Nice game. Have to do it again.
This was posted on nyyfans forum after the Yankees win last night >>>> """""Yankees win. Thhhhe YAnkeeeees win! Forum fans sob in an uncontrollable free fall…"""""
Here is the response form one of the degenerate ignorant fool moderators >>>> """""Trolling is against CS's. Take a little break and hopefully this will be an isolated incident."""""
The poster got suspended for posting his opinion, which was a fact. The worst forum on the internet run by bottom feeders with no life.
Cole needs to put up a whole bunch of zeroes on the scoreboard tonight. Pitching the way he has lately, he should return some of the money he is being paid.
Steve(winstheonlystat}, the posters over there no nothing about baseball, they are true stat frauds with no game. They would get eaten alive if they posted their garbage here and they would never get banned or suspended. You go there, post original intelligent thoughts and beliefs that conflict with their clique agenda and you are gone in a heartbeat.
Guys, I was run out of nyy several years ago along with WIN METHOD. That's how this blog got started. We all got sick and tired of the stat fraud nonsense, lies, and butt buddy fraternity. The stat fraud stupidity inspired WIN METHOD and here you now have the greatest and most viewed Yankee baseball blog in existence.
Thus, to conclude, I salute and honor all the other Yankee blogs, sites, and forums wherever they may be for their ineptitude, all around baseball ignorance, and dumbkopf mods.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Luke Voit (R) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
7. Brett Gardner (L) CF
8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
9. Tim Locastro (R) LF
Gardner only lefty against Greinke. Cole needs to pitch like an ace plus Yanks need to score runs equals a win.
Lets go Yankees.
Can Gardner lead the way a second game in a row?
Five innings complete, Yankees lead 1-0.
Final. Yankees win 1-0 as Cole pitches a complete game. Judge home run only run of game. A great game to watch and to see Cole yell down Boone who wanted to take him out in the 9th with two outs. Yankees do win the final two series before the break and have a chance to sweep tomorrow.
One heck of a game tonight. Winning it made it a pleasure to watch. Cole really stepped up big time to pitch all nine innings 129 pitches, 0 runs, 3 hits, 2 walks, and 12 strikeouts.
Cole was very determined last night. The Fox announcers opined that they would rather have Cole at 120 pitches pitch the ninth inning over anyone else. However, as always the players on the field determine if a managers final decision is right or wrong in the eyes of the fans. If the player(s) produce and the team wins it was a great decision. If the player(s) fail it was a lousy decision. When a manager makes a decision it is always the right decision win or lose because he is the one held accountable. WIN METHOD fans know all this. Other fans do not so they whine, snivel and cry while blaming everyone from the owner down to bat boy and everyone in between.
After winning the first two games todays game is big. Winning means a three game swing versus the team you are playing while a loss only means a one game swing.
Well, Cole made sure the bullpen is fully ready for today.
Taillon is coming off his best outing, can he do it again.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jameson Taillon (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Luke Voit (R) 1B
6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
8. Tim Locastro (R) LF
9. Brett Gardner (L) CF
Yankee offense has put up five runs in last two games, would be good to score big today.
0-0 after 2.
Taillon goes six innings allowing two solo home runs and will hand game over to the bullpen with the Yankees in front 3-2. That is two consecutive excellent starts from Taillon. Hope the bullpen in flawless over the last three innings.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Final. Yankees lose 8-7. Leading 7-2 in the 9th Chad Green comes in and has nothing, getting hammered and ending the game giving up a walk off three run home run. This has been a nightmare season for the Yankees and Yankee fans. One heck of a horrendous loss and a rotten way to go into the break.
I held dinner until the final out which never came. Dinner was ruined for this family of Yankee fans.
German should never ever been taken out of the game. He should have pulled a Cole.
All loses are bad, but some are worse than others, and today's loss has to be one of the worse for a mid season game.
The Cole high washed away in less than 24 hours and the stench of a disgusting loss will linger until who knows when.
I wonder how the Yankees are dealing with yesterday's failure of the worst kind. Probably say they are disappointed and they should have won. The bad part if the average joe failed at their job as many times as the Yankees have, how many would keep their job and get raises..NONE. I would love to see teams go back to one year player contracts.
In Boone's own words..."once it became a save situation I went with Green." German was the best option and should never have been removed at that point in the game. German is a starter whose arm is stretched for multiple innings. German got went 3 up 3 down in both the 7th and 8th innings. First batter he fooled batter rolled ball down third base line for a fluke hit. Second batter hit a good pitch and took it the other way for a sell earned double. Of the eight batters German face he was the only one who did well. I would have gone out to the mound and told German do not even think about the men on base. Get the next three outs even if the men on base score. They mean nothing. The game is yours, you can do it. Pitch your game, the two guys on mean nothing.
Boone is not my idea of a manager.
It seems like MLB changes the HR Derby rules every year. Not as much fun as it used to be when it first started.
Alonso in winning the HR derby last night did put on a dazzling display of power and endurance. Do the participants go thru a drug test? 😜
The sux have their starting rotation posted for the four game series with the Yankees this weekend. Boone is on vacation and has no idea what the starting rotation for the Yankees will be. That means neither do the pitchers know when they are starting. A 2-2 series does nothing for the Yankees but take four games off the schedule.
The American League has won the all-star game 5-2. Everyone with the day off tomorrow. Yankees back in action Thursday with four games with the sux thru the weekend. Win all four and the Yanks will win the division.
Tommy Lee, Four would be wonderful, three would make a move forward, two means nothing.
In two weeks we should know which way the Yankees are headed.
Yankees sadly have not figured out their rotation yet for the Boston series starting tonight.
Yankees have decided on and named German as tonight's starter, but still haven't figured out who will start the other three games. Why haven't day?
Yankee game has been canceled tonight because several people in the Yankee organization have tested positive for covid. Welcome to the joe-bama/commie MALADY administration's America. Sky rocketing inflation, sky rocketing violence in so many democrat run cities, democrats pushing for illegal unverified elections, and racism taught in schools. All this and preventing opposing views to be heard. Bury every democrat by voting each and every one of them out of office.
Where and who in the 'organization'? Corporate, on field uniform, ushers, ground crew, ticket scanners, cleanup crew, etc? What a joke.
If they can't play tonight how can they play in any of the next couple of days?
Didn't Loaisiga test positive last week and placed on the DL. He may have been the initiator.
Amazing how all this happens after everyone has three days off. Or was it a three day house party.
Judge, Urshella, Higashioka all have tested positive.
Aren't the vaccines supposed to prevent people from getting the virus? Or can you still get the virus and not know it because of no symptoms? No matter, play the darn games!
Lets play baseball. Cancelling games because of covid is a joke perpetuated by fools.
How long will it take for MLB to decide and let the fans know if there will be a game tonight at Yankee Stadium?
Montgomery is the listed starter for tonights game. No lineups yet.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jordan Montgomery (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B
2. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
3. Rougned Odor (L) 2B

5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Brett Gardner (L) CF
7. Chris Gittens (R) 1B
8. Trey Amburgey (R) RF
9. Tim Locastro (R) LF
Judge, Urshella, Higashioka all on DL with Covid protocol garbage. Amburgey in RF called up from AAA. Gittens at 1B recalled from AAA. Lets hope for the best with the youngsters making a positive statement.
Off and running. Yanks behind 3-0 after 2.
Yanks down 3-0 after 5.
Final. Yankees lose 4-0. Silence is the word.
Cole starts tomorrow nights game. If the Yankee lineup produces like it did tonight it won't make a difference in the outcome. You cannot win a game unless you score at least one run, and then you are asking your pitchers to not make one mistake.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B
2. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
3. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Brett Gardner (L) CF
7. Chris Gittens (R) 1B
8. Tim Locastro (R) LF
9. Greg Allen (S) RF
We have seen this several times now, but could the Yankee three and four hole batters be the worst of all time in Yankee history.
Guy Padikian, the Yankees had some really down years in their history and as bad as this year is going so far, it is still not as bad as some of their worst years. But Odor/Sanchez scares me and is pretty bad.
I know you should never give up, but if the Yankees get swept in this series, it would be a giant step backwards and/or the hole they are digging has gotten a lot deeper.
RAIN DELAY
1-1 after five.
Yanks score twice in sixth to take 3-1 lead. Cole done for the night. They had an hour delay starting the game, with no rain at all falling and the field never even covered. It started raining in the first inning and has never stopped and the fifth and sixth inning have been played in a downpour. The field is now being covered and we are in a delay. The infield before being covered was a mud hole with standing water all over.
Yankees ten game series.
001-010 5-5
010-020 4-6 = 9-11
021-030 7-3 = 16-14
031-040 6-4 = 22-18
041-050 7-3 = 29-21
050-060 2-8 = 31-29
060-070 6-4 = 37-33
071-080 4-6 = 41-39
081-090 5-5 = 46-44
.500 ball will not make the playoffs. Need at least two 8-2 or better series. And soon.
Final. Yankees win 3-1 in a six inning rain shortened game. Cole goes all six innings for the win. LeMahieu with game tying rbi in 5th and Sanchez and Torres back to back home runs in 6th win it. Locastro tears ACL making leaping over the wall catch in foul territory along left field foul line in first inning and is out for the season.
If anything we broke our losing streak to the sux. Now to win today's game.
Tough luck for Locastro. I really liked his energy and hustle. Plus he made contact when batting.
Taillon today and a Yankee win takes this series which we really need.
Some foul source has to be working against the Yankees. Locastro is acquired to cover Frazier whose head is on backwards, plays a few games, contributes with superb defense, speed, and vigor and gets crippled making a play. I want to see Park and Amburgey play every day for a while.
My opinion, if Park is not in the starting lineup every game against right handed pitching, Boone is not a capable manager. I also would like to see Park against left handed pitching at the MLB level. Let the kids play. Out with the old in with the new. DO IT NOW!!!!

9. Greg Allen (S) CF
Big game. Lets do it.
Park is not starting tonight likely because the sux are starting a lefty pitcher.
Yanks up 2-0 after 3.
Amburgey out of game. Hurt something running to first base. Gardner replaces him.
Yankees take 7-0 lead thru 7th.
Final. Yankees win 9-1. A step forward. Off day tomorrow.
German starting tomorrow nights game with Phillies. Two game series and winning both is much needed.
Yes we can.
Park needs to be in the starting lineup against the Phillies.
A split with Philadelphia uses up two games, need to win them both.
When Philly pitcher Aaron Nola was in grade school the teacher asked him where he lived, Aaron responded Nola. The teacher grumbled and said to Aaron, I didn't ask you your name, I know your name, I asked you where you lived. Aaron, again replayed, Nola.

Five lefty bats in lineup for first time this season. However, possibly best left handed bat in Park sits on the bench. He has been hitting over .330 at AAA this season.
Stanton is so overdue.
The bottom four in the lineup have a heck of a lot of speed. Lets create some turmoil and convert it into runs.
Yankees up 5-2 after seven.
Final. Yankees win 6-4. Gardner, Stanton, Sanchez, Florial, all with home runs. Good win, but must win tomorrow to win series.
There is some life left. Keep it going.
No Yankee starter listed as of now for tomorrows which is now tonights game
Chapman although he did give up a long home run last night also looked like he is coming back into form. He threw strikes and threw hard.
Yankees calling up Wojciechowski from AAA to start tonight's game.
As a fan I can only hope for Wojciechowski to keep us in the game for as long as he pitches. Anything more than that would be a big bonus and that can be decided if the lineup produces.

Park still not in lineup. Why would you bring up Park who is performing outstandingly at AAA and not use him?
Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves: 1.Signed RHP Asher Wojciechowski from AAA to a Major League contract and put him to the 26-man roster. 2.Sent Hoy Park back to Scranton never giving him a chance to play.
I heard Park was sent back to AAA.
Yankees take 5-2 lead after seven. The youngsters are breathing life into this team and most of all are contributing.
Torres error in 8th opens door for Phillies 3 run inning tying game at 5.
Final. Yankees win 6-5 in ten inning little league extra inning game. Ryan LaMarre's walk off rbi single wins game when it mattered most.
Four games with the sux in Boston starting tonight. Need to take three.
Monty, Cole, Taillon, and German listed to start four game series in Boston starting tonight.
Well, we can't complain about Park no being in the lineup tonight. He is not even on the roster anymore.

Every game counts. Wins are the only stat that matters. Only wins gets you into the playoffs.
Lets go Yankees.
Rain delay in 5th inning with Yankees up and leading 1-0.
Yanks up 1-0 after 6.
Green blows save in ninth giving up two runs. 3-3 game, and now little league extra innings.
Final. Yankees lose 5-4 in ten innings. Another heart breaking loss. Green blows 3-1 Yankee lead in 9th. Kriske blows Yankee 4-3 lead in 10th throwing four wild pitches.
Snake bit. But we are not dead yet.
That is now seven walk off losses for the Yankees this season. Too many games that should have been victories that turned into ugly losses. Not enough come-from-behind victories. This team could easily have a 54-41 record right now, maybe even better.
Cessa should have pitched the ninth without doubt. Take your analytical stats the burn them and the people who use them. Cessa got three outs in the eighth inning on five pitches. A slow ground ball to first baseman unassisted. A ground ball to short. And a roller to the pitcher.
As the Yankees keep shooting themselves in the foot, I can only hope they run out of bullets at some point in time.
How about this Yankee WIN METHOD fans.
The Yankees have lost 4 games this season when leading by multiple runs after the 8th inning. The Yankees only lost 4 games when leading by multiple runs after the 8th inning between 1997 and 2007. An overwhelming difference between producing when it counts and not producing when it counts.
Also shows why Mario 'Mo' Rivera was the greatest relief pitcher in the history of baseball.
Cole tonight just to get us even when it could have meant insuring a split series or much better.
Yanks trail 3-1 after five. Cole not sharp and struggled through five innings.
Final. Yankees lose 6-2. Cole not good today. Bats, big fails when it counted all game.
Need a win today, by hook or crook.
We did just lose two games to the sux, BUT we played without the services of Judge, Voit, Urshella, Loaisiga, Higshioka. That is 20 percent of out team. We always play thru, over, and around all obstacles.
As of right now and last several starts, Montgomery may be the Yankees best starter, or at least very close to rivaling Cole.
Giambino, Peralta and Cortes were also out, although Cortes did come back last night.

Same guys, different order, different result?
Lets go Yankees.
FinaL. Yankees win 4-3. Jameson Taillon pitched his heart out giving up 3 runs, 2 unearned over seven innings and the Yankee bat come alive in the eighth inning scoring four times for the win. Loaisiga with the hold and Chapman with the save.
Now if we can only save the series with a win tomorrow.
German takes his turn today and a win splits the four game series.

6. Brett Gardner (L) CF
7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
8. Ryan LaMarre (R) LF
9. Greg Allen (S) RF
Urshela back in lineup. Can the Yanks do it again.
Oh my God, the Yankees do it again. Lose another game leading by four runs in the eighth inning. Loasigia the failure on this one.
Final. Yankees lose 5-4. Leading 4-0 and German pitching a no hitter, the Yankees came up with another way to lose giving up five runs in the eight inning on five consecutive hits for three runs, a ground out rbi for the fourth run and a sacrifice fly for the fifth run. This time we have two culprits, the biggest being Loaisiga who blew and lost the game and Stanton with failing to get a run in with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the eighth. Striking out on three pitches two of which were balls he swung at well outside the strike zone.
Boone seems to have a definite knack at picking the wrong pitchers in relief in big games.
I've been a fan for a very very long time, but I can't ever remember a season with so many disasters in batters failing to produce when it counts, and the bullpen blowing so many big leads time and again.
This season is like dying by being stabbed slowly a thousand times.
Am I watching Ground Hog Day?
Well the Yankees have an off day tomorrow. Enough time to cook in the stew they put themselves in as the season grows shorter. Will there be big time reinforcements in early August?
How much strength and control do pitchers lose when they are out of action with the Covid protocols. Loasigia did not pitch a good inning the day before either but did not give up any runs,
Yes we can and yes we will. Rumor is we ran out of bullets.
It may be at a point now for the Yankees that the only way into the playoffs is by the wild card.
Regarding Stanton. There is this thing called regression. Stanton has a major disability recognizing pitches and staying in the strike zone. Every batter gets fooled and look foolish several times a season swinging at pitches nowhere close to being strikes. Stanton does this every game in almost every at bat. He is past his prime prematurely. His best position right now is off the team. Just pay out his contract each season to stay home and off the roster.
Montgomery, Cortes, and Cole starting three game Tampa series.
Need at least 2 of 3 from the Rays series.
Boone does have issues. Boone posts his lineups as slow as a dead sloth, The Yankee lineup is rarely posted in a timely manner compared to lineup of the Yankee opponent. Today's Rays lineup was posted hours ago, the Yankee lineup not yet.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jordan Montgomery (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
8. Ryan LaMarre (R) LF
9. Greg Allen (S) CF
Judge back. Stanton should be batting eighth.
Final. Yankees win 4-3. Monty goes five gritty shutout innings for the win. Chapman gets the save.
A win and a nail biter down to the last pitch.
63 games to be played. 42 wins the goal.
Cortes starts tonight's game.
As the trade deadline nears the Yankees have made a couple of small minor trades. Is there a big deal on the horizon. Just a couple of days left.
If the Yankees do make a big deal I hope it is not for some stat fraud piece of garbage.
So the last time Cessa pitched as a Yankee was against the sux for one inning getting the three outs on five pitches. He will be missed.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Nestor Cortes (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
7. Brett Gardner (L) CF
8. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
9. Greg Allen (S)
Wins are the only stat that counts.
Final. Yankees win 3-1 in ten innings. Judge with game winning hit. Yankee pitching exceptional. Corte, Luetge, Britton, Green, Chapman.
Yankees ten game series.
001-010 5-5
010-020 4-6 = 9-11
021-030 7-3 = 16-14
031-040 6-4 = 22-18
041-050 7-3 = 29-21
050-060 2-8 = 31-29
060-070 6-4 = 37-33
071-080 4-6 = 41-39
081-090 5-5 = 46-44
091-100 7-3 = 53-47
Now that is what we need. Two more 7-3 sets and we will be right in the thick of the playoff race to the finish.
Deal not finalized yet, but it looks as if Joey Gallo will be a Yankee.
Today Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
7. Brett Gardner (L) LF
8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C

Three times is a charm.
REVISED Todays Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R)
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
7. Brett Gardner (L) LF
8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
9. Estevan Florial (L) CF
Yankee "ace" Cole shelled for four runs in first inning.
Yanks down 4-0 after 3.
As WIN METHOD has always said, the best way to lose is to lose big, because it skews all the stat frauds fake stats. Yankees trail 14-0 after seven. Cole and Abreu get beat up, bad.
Final. Yankees lose 14-0. The only way to lose. Cole? What's up.
Three game series with Tampa and Tampa routs the Yankees by using all the meaningless stats, but the Yankees win the series two games to one in the only stat that matters, WINS.
The Yankees are acquiring Anthony Rizzo from the Cubs for two single A minor leaguers.
Yanks head to Miami.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jameson Taillon (R) P
1. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
2. Joey Gallo (L) RF
3. Aaron Judge (R) CF
4. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
5. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
6. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Tyler Wade (L) 3B
9. Jameson Taillon (R) P
Two ne guy lefty bats in, LeMahieu out? Urshela out?
0-0 after 2.
Scoreless thru five.
Final. Yankees win 3-1. Taillon the win. Loaisiga and Britton holds, Chapman the save.
Rizzo produced last night, Gallo not so much. German starts tonight. Wins is what it takes to reach the playoffs. The others go home.
Stanton who is the highest paid Yankee player is not contributing anywhere near what he is being paid. When he is hot he is an unbelievable talent. The problem is he is hot only about a combined month during the entire season.
My dream lineup and batting order.
1. LeMahieu 2B
2. Gallo RF
3. Judge CF
4. Rizzo 1B
5. Urshela 3B
6. Odor DH
7. Torres SS
8. Sanchez C
9. Allen LF
Lets go Yankees. Please Aaron Boone, give my lineup a chance.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Domingo German (R) P
1. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
2. Joey Gallo (L) RF
3. Aaron Judge (R) CF
4. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
5. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
6. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Tyler Wade (L) 3B
9. Domingo German (R) P
Repeat last nights win with maybe a run or two more.
Yankees up 2-0 after 3 on RBI hits from Stanton and Odor.
Oddity in tonight's game. Domingo German threw a pitchout and it was the first time since 2018 that a Yankee pitcher has thrown a pitchout.
2-2 after 4.
Yanks up 4-2 after 7.
Final. Yankees win 4-2. Take Marlin series with a chance for a sweep tomorrow. Rizzo another home run.
It's only a couple of games, but it looks as if Cashman has found the needed pieces to put together a solid team for a playoff run.
Montgomery starts tomorrow with a chance to earn a sweep for us.
Yanks23245, I agree, we now have a more balances lineup and Rizzo is a gigantic addition. He plays exactly the way WIN METHOD says every player should play.
Let's go Yankees
Jill Byrnes, don't forget, Voit is also available.
Todays Yankee Lineup P
Jordan Montgomery (L)
1. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Joey Gallo (L) LF
4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
5. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
7. Brett Gardner (L) CF
8. Tyler Wade (L) 3B
9. Jordan Montgomery (L) P
With the talent presently on this Yankee team, this is not the lineup we should see. We do need to win every game and this lineup does not show me Boone is on the cutting edge of decision making.
Lets go Yankees
