WIN METHOD YANKEE BASEBALL 2021 SEASON -- FULL SEASON

Hello WIN METHOD Yankee fans, the smartest baseball fans on the face of the earth.  It has been a long time since I last blog posted.  However, there have been comments within the blog from me.  So here we go for 2021.

First, the Yankees will be in the playoffs again this season, but they also will play in the World Series.  In talking with players, they are not happy with what they have achieved the past few seasons.  They feel they have something to prove and want to do it now.  Most of the players have undertaken a new or modified training program instituted by the training staff.  Look for less injuries and less severe injuries this season.  That will be a step forward and a plus for the team as a whole.

Second, Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon both feel very optimistic with what each will contribute to the Yankees success this season.  Both players believe their injuries are behind them.  As of now, the Yankee starting rotation looks like it will have four men in the first four spots right now.  Cole, Kluber, Taillon, and Montgomery.  The fifth spot will be determined in March.  The guys who do not make the fifth spot will either be sent to AAA Scranton or long relievers on the big team.  Then the big guy Louie Louie Severino will make his return to the Bronx in June.  The pitching staff looks solid and has many fall back arms to rely on.  The bullpen remains solid and strong, also with several young arms looking to make an impact.

Third, the lineup will be solid again, more important, will be healthier.  Runs will be put on the board.  The biggest question mark will be at catcher.  Catcher Gary Sanchez has been a black hole in the Yankee lineup recently, ala afraud in the past.  Gary Sanchez is being mentored and talked to by coaches and trainers.  Sanchez feels it is helping him,  As the season starts, we will all see if it has.  Sanchez himself is the only person who can really make it happen.  It is up to him.  A big WIN METHOD season from Sanchez would be a big help to the lineup and the team.  If he does what he has been doing the last couple of seasons, Gary's days could be short lived.

As you all know I always read all posts by all of you who post here.  Looking at the numbers of views recorded on the WIN METHOD blog there are also an enormous number of fans who read the blog consistently.  You fans will take this blog, the number one Yankee baseball blog in the world over the one billion mark somewhere around June 1st this year.  You are the people who take this blog in the direction you want it to go on a daily, weekly, monthly, or whatever time frame basis.  This past year, we saw a very shortened baseball season, we saw a disgusting Chinese created virus, spread throughout the world by the most foul Chinese government, killing millions of people from all countries across the globe.  We had a presidential election here in America.  The election was the most corrupt election in the history of America stolen by the most corrupt politicians in America's history.  We now have the most corrupt politicians in America's history running our country.  They will do their best to destroy America.  Hopefully, you the people will do whatever you need to do to stop the destruction.

It is now back to baseball and a great Yankee season.  Thank all of you for reading and posting your views and opinions in this blog.  You are the people who have made the WIN METHOD blog the best and greatest Yankee baseball blog, forum, or site in the world.  We here are WIN METHOD will continue to have no signups, no ask for no personal information from you, no advertisements, and no bans of anyone.  You, your views, and your opinions do not get canceled here.  Unlike big tech, other baseball forums or sites which control you by banning or canceling you, here, that will never happen.

One more thing before I conclude.  I would like to recognize the life and pay my respects to RUSH HUDSON LIMBAUGH III who passed away February 17th.  Rush was the greatest radio and political commentator of all time.  Rush's radio career spanned over thirty years.  Rush's show was three hours a day, five days week, fifty-two weeks a year.  Rush was right 99.8% of the time and one of the finest American patriots who believed in freedom and pursuit of happiness of every single American.   Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.

It is baseball time again.  Lets look forward to a great season and as always LETS GO YANKEES.

WIN METHOD by starting this blog from nothing gave an outlet and a message board for a lot of people who were not allowed to speak their beliefs about baseball on the fake stat blogs with moderators that banned anyone they wanted to for no reason at all. Many of us found a home and refuge here to talk real baseball and what it takes to win. I came here from the now dead baseballfever site.

yankeedoodledandy said...

The Yankees do celebrate the WIN METHOD billionth viewer day with a 7-4 win coming back from an early 3-0 deficit.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 7-4. Yes, the Yankeeeeeeees winnnnnnnnnnnn. Taillon gives up all four runs, but the bullpen was flawless and earned the win, hold, and save. Everyone in the lineup contributed and the five run inning was a thing of beauty with production when it mattered most. Series is even at one each, with two games to go.

reinvaldez said...

I am pretty sure a lot of fans thought the Yankees would not win tonight's game, but they did. Baseball games are won on the field and not on stat fraud paper. Odor sure is a sparkplug for this team. A strong left handed bat that is needed.

Benny Pake said...

Kluber made up for the last three games as far as the starters are concerned.

Victor Grandozi said...

Kluber is a pitcher. He has 'stuff' like many of the great pitchers of the past. No over powering fast ball, just ball movement and throwing it where he wanted to throw it. Swings and misses.

MAWRY said...

What I think makes a no hit game extra exciting is the game also being on the line. A one or two run lead is always just a bloop and a blast from turning the game around.

Hobbs said...

A gem from Kluber last night. Lets look deeper into the game. Kluber's no hitter was an individual achievement, but what he did pretty much made sure the Yankees would WIN the game if they scored a run. The WIN is the goal. The Yankees got their run when super utility player Wade was called to duty to replace right fielder LaMarre who injured his hamstring running to first base halfway thru the game. Wade went in to play right field. When Wade came to bat for the first time in the game he made his presence felt. Higashioka opened the 6th inning with a walk, Wade then lined a triple into the left center field gap scoring Higashioka. LeMahieu then scored Wade with a sacrifice fly for the Yankees second run and the only runs of the game. Wade produced in a game with little to no production from both offenses. Wade's hit gave the Yankees the WIN.

Urshella and Judge both with pinch hit RBI singles in the 7th when it matters most give the Yankees a 2-0 lead after seven. German goes seven innings of shutout ball, but he did give up some hits.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 2-0. German seven inning of shutout ball for the win. Green shutout 8th for the hold and Chapman shutout 9th for the save. Urshella and Judge with pinch hit rbi singles for the only runs of the game. Bad issue of game was the Yankees had three base runners thrown out today. Come on guys. Yanks take series 3 games to 1.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 2-1 on walk of single by Torres in ninth. Torres had both Yankee rbi's. Montgomery with seven brilliant innings takes a no decision. Chapman gets the win after getting out of a 2 men on no outs situation in ninth on a round the horn triple play. Another thrilling game. Downer..Yanks in 8th men on 1st and 3rd no outs do not score as LeMahieu and Voit fail when it mattered most. Judge and Urshella both with singles to lead off the 9th inning setting up Torres who did produce when it mattered most to win the game.

Jack Bauer said...

The Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. 2-1 in one heck of a game again. Three straight games now where a Yankee starter allowed no runs.

MLB has played just around 30%+ of the regular season so far and the take away I see is the AL East and NL West are the two best divisions. The AL East with four teams and the NL West with three teams. Still a long way to go.

Yankees win 5-4 on Judge walk off walk with bases loaded.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 5-4. A lot happened today, good and not so good. Taillon went five scoreless innings to be fifth consecutive Yankee starter to not allow a run. Taillon leaves with a 3-0 lead. Yankee starters, no runs allowed streak is now 35 innings over five games for an average of seven innings per game. Yankee bullpen did not hold up their end. Peralta gives up 2 run HR in 6th. Yankees come back with run in 6th and lead 4-2 after 6. Green allows solo HR in 7th and Yankees lead 4-3 after 7. Loaisiga with a shutout 8th and Yankees lead 4-3 after 8. Chapman in for the close and gives up HR for a 4-4 tie with Yanks coming t0 bat. Bottom of ninth, Frazier single, Frazier steals second as Gardner Ks. LeMahieu gets intentional walk, Wade single loads bases with one out. Judge walks in winning run. Yankees win 5-4 and sweep series.

yankeedoodledandy said...

What a game. Up, up, up, up, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, game over, Yankees win 5-4.

Hector Lopez said...

Sweet win today, Chicago never gave up. Baseball is a funny game. Five starters don't allow a run over 35 innings. But three Yankee relievers today each allowed a run or more in one inning of work each.

Off day tomorrow then we host Blue Jays for three games at the Stadium, with Kluber, German, and Monty on the docket.

Saul Irving said...

Everyone is contributing. Frazier and Wade with the two 9th inning hits, DJ intentional walk, and Judge with the walk-off walk.

NJYANKEE said...

First evaluation and prognosis for Kluber, four weeks off, and then four weeks throwing. Out for June and July likely. I wouldn't be surprised that the Yankees and Kluber, knowing that he can shut down bats and be a top of the line pitcher, are limiting his innings since he hasn't really pitched in two years, thus he can be ready for a stretch run if needed and the playoffs.

NJYANKEE, do you really think what you posted is even possible?

Final. Yankees lose 3-2 in ten innings. Wilson blows game in 10th giving up a 2 run walk off home run. Yankee bats had ten chances to score a run with runners in scoring position and failed every time. Yanks scored their runs on a HR from Odor and a wild pitch. Stanton was a disaster at bat and looked pathetic. It looks like it is going to be a long season.

The game of players with diverse talents and consummate abilities (contact, bunting, hitting to the opposite field, advancing a runner, running hard all the time, hustling all the time, and more) no longer is played. The game is played with little league rules, run by a commissioner with a little league mind. Rule changes that hurt the game. The desire to get paid has taken over the desire to win for most players.

Bobby Behan said...

Money has taken over baseball is a factor in destroying the game. Players make too much for doing too little and not achieving.

Jimmy Thames said...

We now have lost the first game of three consecutive series. Deivi today in a 4pm game to try to even series. If the lineup doesn't hit it won't make any difference who pitches.

Norm Jackson said...

I can’t get invested in a game where the rules completely change at the most important moments. I can’t enjoy a pitchers duel because all I’m thinking about is having to go to the ridiculous extra innings rule. I cringe every time I see a cloud in the sky because I can’t stomach a double header with 7-inning games. I can’t keep seeing second basemen rob sure hits because they’re playing a shallow right field. It’s not baseball any more. Even a pitcher having to face 3 hitters, or a no-pitch intentional walk.

sid greenberg,nyc said...

Norm Jackson, I agree with your post on most items, except the 2nd baseman in right field. A manager should be allowed to position his defense any way he wishes. Should we not allow the 3rd baseman to come in on the infield grass to prevent a fast runner and good bunter to try for a bunt hit down the 3rd baseline? When defenders are positioned it is up to the hitter to be able to hit the ball where the defense "ain't, to coin the old phrase of the great baseball minds "hit them where they ain't." The teams of old would destroy the defenses used today of over-shifting. The players years ago could hit the ball everywhere, they had talent players today do not come close to.

I said to my dad, if the trade off for getting a 60-game 2020 season because we were so desperate for baseball was that these garbage rules became permanent, I’d rather not have had the 2020 season played at all. Then play real baseball this season.

1.Nothing worse than losing first games of a series and having to play catchup except winning the first game and then losing the series.

2.I'm sick and tired of hitters striking out so consistently and not even making contact in crucial situations.

3.I detest players not going all out and hustling all the time.

4.Rest days are despicable and are used only by the foolish managers as a strategy.

5.I hate stat cast, batted ball velocity, range factor stats, and man created formulated stats.

6.A teams best players should play everyday.

That's all for now.

2. Rougned Odor (L) 2B

4. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Mike Ford (L) 1B
7. Miguel Andujar (R) LF

9. Brett Gardner (L) CF

Stanton out after one pathetic game. Urshella out, why?

Cole Akins said...

Yankees trailing 2-1 thru 4. Get their lone run on a failed at bat. Bases loaded no outs and a double play grounder gets the run in without a RBI. Yankees up to 13 innings now with scoring a runner in scoring position in this series.

Tigers mauling Yankees 6-1 after five innings.

Final. Yankees lose 6-1. Another pathetic, unenthused, lackluster put forward by the Yankees this afternoon in Detroit. What is going on with these guys. You are paid far far too much for the way you are playing and the effort you are putting out. You should be embarrassed as a team including manager, coaches, trainers, and most of all management.

NJYANKEE said...

Michel King has been named to start the final game of this series and he will be doing so trying to prevent the Yankees from being swept in this three game series. The Yankee bats need to wake up and score runs or a sweep will be heard all over the Yankee fan base.

Victor Grandozi said...

I can't recall the wild swings of ups and downs for any Yankee team in my lifetime as crazy as this years team.

Tom Kelly said...

I believe the Yankees have an extremely unathletic team. Most players are not durable and show little elasticity. Most base running is base to base with generally a lack of speed throughout the lineup. The Yankees put very little pressure on the opposing team and pitchers.

Raul Vasquez said...

I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that Jason Dominguez could help the Yankee team more now than half the guys presently on the team.

I read many posters venting their frustrations here. You are all right. Manfred the mental midget is ruining baseball. The Yankees organization needs an overhaul including ownership.

1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF

5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS

Wade in CF. Win or get swept.

Even when during the rare times Stanton is producing for the Yankees, he is a dead man walking. There are also several Yankee players with very little instincts for the game and taking the game to the opponent. That includes the manager. But when your player do not have the instincts nor the ability to take on the game, is the manager to blame?

Final. Yankees lose 6-2 and are swept by the Detroit Tigers. The Yankees were 1 24 with runners in scoring position during this series. To end the game, Aaron Judge came to bat as the tying run in the 9th inning with the bases loaded and 2 out. He swung at two pitches out of the strike zone that neither were close to being strikes and as the coup de grace, he stood there with the bat on his shoulder watching strike three right over the heart of the plate. What a dreadful series.

Yankees come home tomorrow for a big week of game, four with the Rays and three with the sux. Lets see what happens, gloom and doom or jubilation and joy. Better play a lot better than they did in Detroit. A lot.

Seven games with the Rays and sux and Cole can only start one of them. Who is planning ahead?

Looks like Taillon will start first game of the four game Rays series.

The Yankees have started off the set of ten games they are now in 0-3. They will have to go 5-2 against Tampa and Boston just to play .500 ball during the ten game set.

If the Yankee lineup keeps failing to produce when it matters most the team will continue to lose. As Casey Stengel always said, hit 'em where they ain't. Sadly, the Yankees batters are not hitting the ball anywhere, and when they do it is usually a pop up or ground ball right at an infielder. The Yankee do lead MLB in hitting into double plays.

Final. Haplessly Yankees lose 3-1. Something has to give and it needs to be big. A bit of good information, Louie Louie is scheduled to throw three innings in a sim game today and if goes well likely a minor league assignment for a few starts and if all goes well join the Yankees. Late join a possibility.

Linda Rice said...

In 8 of the 9 innings today the Yankee lineup made the first two outs before a man reached base. Dismal and never did the team threaten or have a rally.

.....All this as American cities are in turmoil with violent attacks on citizens occurring daily and many citizens dying as Biden does nothing. There is war again in the middle east as Biden does nothing. Americans are being crippled by high gas prices because of what Biden did in closing the pipeline from Canada to make Americans suffer.
