Hello WIN METHOD Yankee fans, the smartest baseball fans on the face of the earth. It has been a long time since I last blog posted. However, there have been comments within the blog from me. So here we go for 2021.
First, the Yankees will be in the playoffs again this season, but they also will play in the World Series. In talking with players, they are not happy with what they have achieved the past few seasons. They feel they have something to prove and want to do it now. Most of the players have undertaken a new or modified training program instituted by the training staff. Look for less injuries and less severe injuries this season. That will be a step forward and a plus for the team as a whole.
Second, Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon both feel very optimistic with what each will contribute to the Yankees success this season. Both players believe their injuries are behind them. As of now, the Yankee starting rotation looks like it will have four men in the first four spots right now. Cole, Kluber, Taillon, and Montgomery. The fifth spot will be determined in March. The guys who do not make the fifth spot will either be sent to AAA Scranton or long relievers on the big team. Then the big guy Louie Louie Severino will make his return to the Bronx in June. The pitching staff looks solid and has many fall back arms to rely on. The bullpen remains solid and strong, also with several young arms looking to make an impact.
Third, the lineup will be solid again, more important, will be healthier. Runs will be put on the board. The biggest question mark will be at catcher. Catcher Gary Sanchez has been a black hole in the Yankee lineup recently, ala afraud in the past. Gary Sanchez is being mentored and talked to by coaches and trainers. Sanchez feels it is helping him, As the season starts, we will all see if it has. Sanchez himself is the only person who can really make it happen. It is up to him. A big WIN METHOD season from Sanchez would be a big help to the lineup and the team. If he does what he has been doing the last couple of seasons, Gary's days could be short lived.
As you all know I always read all posts by all of you who post here. Looking at the numbers of views recorded on the WIN METHOD blog there are also an enormous number of fans who read the blog consistently. You fans will take this blog, the number one Yankee baseball blog in the world over the one billion mark somewhere around June 1st this year. You are the people who take this blog in the direction you want it to go on a daily, weekly, monthly, or whatever time frame basis. This past year, we saw a very shortened baseball season, we saw a disgusting Chinese created virus, spread throughout the world by the most foul Chinese government, killing millions of people from all countries across the globe. We had a presidential election here in America. The election was the most corrupt election in the history of America stolen by the most corrupt politicians in America's history. We now have the most corrupt politicians in America's history running our country. They will do their best to destroy America. Hopefully, you the people will do whatever you need to do to stop the destruction.
It is now back to baseball and a great Yankee season. Thank all of you for reading and posting your views and opinions in this blog. You are the people who have made the WIN METHOD blog the best and greatest Yankee baseball blog, forum, or site in the world. We here are WIN METHOD will continue to have no signups, no ask for no personal information from you, no advertisements, and no bans of anyone. You, your views, and your opinions do not get canceled here. Unlike big tech, other baseball forums or sites which control you by banning or canceling you, here, that will never happen.
One more thing before I conclude. I would like to recognize the life and pay my respects to RUSH HUDSON LIMBAUGH III who passed away February 17th. Rush was the greatest radio and political commentator of all time. Rush's radio career spanned over thirty years. Rush's show was three hours a day, five days week, fifty-two weeks a year. Rush was right 99.8% of the time and one of the finest American patriots who believed in freedom and pursuit of happiness of every single American. Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.
It is baseball time again. Lets look forward to a great season and as always LETS GO YANKEES.

Yankees ten game series.
001-010 5-5
010-020 4-6 = 9-11
021-030 7-3 = 16-14
031-040 6-4 = 22-18
041-050 7-3 = 29-21
050-060 2-8 = 31-29
060-070 6-4 = 37-33
071-080 4-6 = 41-39
081-090 5-5 = 46-44
091-100 7-3 = 53-47
100-110 8-2 = 61-49
101-120 7-3 = 68-52
121-130 8-2 = 76-54
Another fantastic 10 game series. Over last 40 games the Yankees have won 30 and lost 10 games which is .750 baseball. That is a fantastic run. Three more 10 game series to go and it would be great if the Yankees win 3/4 of their remaining games. Even 2/3 would be fine. Headed to the playoffs.
You don't win many games when you don't score runs. Need to get back on track now, because you have just come around the final turn with a big move and the stretch run to the finish line will determine who goes to the playoffs. Only wins will determine that, nothing else matters no matter how any stat fraud or talking head spins it.
Three game series with Angels starting tonight. Kluber, Taillon, and Cole starting. Need to win every series.

Nice to see Velasquez back at SS. He brings life and energy to the game.
Lets go guys, get back to winning.
Yanks up 2-0 after 2.
Yankees down 6-5 after five.
7-7 thru 7.
Yankees lose third straight 8-7. Bullpen comes up empty.
The second time through the order last night and Kluber became a batting practice pitcher. The bullpen was a calmative failure. So even though the Yankees scored seven runs, that was not good enough. Now need to win today and tomorrow to take this series.
Re last nights game, So many questions. Why did Boone leave in Kluber when it was obvious he had lost it? Why is Heaney on the team? Why is Gil in the minor leagues while we have to watch Heaney? Why did Peralta throw a second fastball to Marsh when his change up was so effective tonight? Why does Holmes throw a hanging slider to the 9th place hitter with 2 strikes when he can throw 96-97? Why is Boone still managing this team?
RLA, you asked, I respond, 1. Kluber had an easy three innings and Kluber was on a pitch count and this in his first start he was trying to reach that count. He only gave up one run before the grand slam. Everything happened very fast and there likely was no one warming up that quickly. 2. I agree, but the Yankee decision makers did not re Gil and Heaney. I believe they were wrong, but there is not way to know for sure. 3. If Peralta gets the out you would not even ask this question. The players on the field determine outcomes, second guessing is easy for fans. 4. Same answer for Holmes pitch. 5. Boone managed Yankee teams have made the playoffs in each of his three year stint and likely will make a fourth year this season. Over 100 wins in the first two year full seasons. How many manager in MLB have won as many games as Boone over the past four season?

0-0 after 2.
Yankees falling into the double play dilemma again. Have hit into three double plays in first four innings killing every rally. Trail 3-1.
Yanks hit into their fourth double play in six innings and trail 6-2 mid sixth.
Yanks down 6-2 after 6.
Yanks hit into their fifth double play in seventh. Wow!!!!!
After winning 13 in a row Yankees lose their 4th in a row tonight 6-4 hitting into 5 doubleplays.
Very disappointing baseball by the Yankees the past few games. Lost the first series in a month. Cole goes today to prevent a sweep by the Angels.
Sad to say, but I believe the Rays play more WIN METHOD baseball than the Yankees do. They seem to play to win every game as a team and are totally into every game all the time. Considering the difference in payroll between the Yankees and Rays that is truly amazing.
Steve(winstheonlystat), I tend to agree. The season and the playoffs still have to play out.
Really need a win today.
Steve/Victor/WIN METHOD fans/ all fans, your posts opens a great segue to briefly explaining the WIN METHOD compared to individual stats and how teams win games.
1. Most important, each team that wins a game any day wins their game because their offense/hitting and their defense/pitching which encompasses every player on the team preformed the most in each situation during the game when it mattered most to both score and prevent runs. The team(s) that wins each day is the best team(s) that day.
2. Looking at and taking the proceeding paragraph results through the entire season, the teams that do the above most often will go to the playoffs and beyond by meeting the requirements set forth by MLB on what is required for teams to make the playoffs and advance through the playoffs to the World Series.
3. In other words each team will advance during the season and the playoffs based on what all players do in each game to win the most games during each season. The teams whose players produce the most when it matters most, as stated in paragraph one will advance during each elimination stage until there is only one team left and that will be the best team and best players in MLB for that season. No ifs ands or buts. They will be best because they won by producing the most times when it mattered most.
4. No individual stats will matter and countless players with the highest individual stats will not advance to the playoffs and beyond because individual stats do not matter. Only wins and winning determine the best teams and players. That in a nutshell is the essence of the WIN MERTHOD.
WIN METHOD, it is all common sense. And it tells exactly why some of the highest individual stat fraud players are really not the best players.
The individual stat fraud players with the gaudy overhyped stats bring the fans to the ballparks. That means money to the owners, therefor those players many times make the highest dollars, but they are not the best players.

Last game of nine game road trip. We are 4-4 now. We either have a winning or losing trip.
WIN METHOD, excellent post. You explained it all concisely and on point. Love ya,
Off and running. One inning one double play sandwiched between two solid singles.
Yanks up 3-0 after 4.
Yankees lead 3-1 after seven and Cole has pitched one hell of a game.
Final. Yankees win 4-1. Cole goes seven innings, one run, four hits, no walks, fifteen strikeouts for the win. Loaisiga a 1,2,3 eighth and Chapman a 1,2,3 ninth. Big when it mattered hits by Voit 2 out 2 rbi single, Gardner 2 out 1 rbi single, and Judge insurance run home run in the eighth for all the Yankee runs.
A win just the way WIN METHOD described it in his post.
Cole was really strong tonight. Good win. Take the flight home and enjoy the off day tomorrow.
Yankee pitching coach changed Chapman's stance on the mound. Chapman is now standing straight up instead of bent over. He did well tonight, throwing 100 and he had command.
Yankees have three game weekend series at Stadium next and hopefully they will not take things for granted and or not play all out to win.
Yanks have the O's up next and it would serve the team well to sweep them and rattle off a bunch of wins now and be sure to earn a playoff spot and be able to set up a rotation for a hopefully long playoff run.
The Yankees are coming home to a flood and wind ravaged city and surrounding areas. Much damage and many deaths.
Democrat politicians are all garbage, stinking festering garbage. Bury them all. After the storm that ravaged the northeast they looked into the camera and told the people that they were never warned about how bad the storm would be. They blamed man made climate change. They said they were told the storm was going to make a right turn in NC/SC and go out to the Atlantic. They then say we must pass that 3+ trillion dollar infrastructure bill so this will never happen again. They lie and lie and lie and you jerks who vote for them, believe them, and keep them in power are to blame. You are idiots.
They were warned about the storm, ask the meteorologists. Man made climate change has no effect on the climate, the climate and its changes are natural and man has no effect on what the climate has done for millions of years, now and in the future. The storm was never forecast, never, to go into the Atlantic via any of the Atlantic southern states. The 3+ trillion dollar infrastructure bill is a fraud that will do nothing but cripple America and you, us, we the people. It will only make the stinking democrat politicians richer and more corrupt'
So, what can we all do? NEVER EVER vote for any democrat, liberal, progressive, socialist, left wing piece of garbage lying politician again, EVER. Bury the garbage democrats and spit on them when you bury them. No matter what election, no matter what office VOTE, VOTE, VOTE only vote for candidates that are not the garbage mentioned above.
If you want to save America, vote for TRUMP supported candidates, or at worse any candidate that is running against the garbage democrat and their ilk.
NJYANKEE, All so true. All across America everything touched by democrats is a disaster happening or in the making. They must be eradicated. VOTE for republicans at worse and for Trump candidates at best. Make your own list people, one side under Trump and the other side under the joe-bama/commie MALADY administration. Compare, the XL Pipeline, Fuel prices, the southwest border, Afghanistan, murders and attacks in cities, what you are paying for almost anything. If you were balancing a scale the good would be 100% Trump and 0% joe-bama/commie MALADY administration of lies.
Great comments people. I agree with all. That is a great name Zhedo Kopeky.
The Yankee AA minor league Somerset Patriots in New Jersey is underwater. I would believe that the field will take some time before it can be played on. At least a week or more?
Bury all democrats. Vote for only republicans and conservatives.
NJYANKEE, how did you fair from the storm?
Yankees starting Cortes, Monty, and Kluber against the Orioles.
No reason not to win all three games against the Orioles if the guys keep their head in the game and play WIN METHOD baseball. You can score a lot of runs with hits when it counts most.
Kojak, We were pretty lucky. House was fine, just some landscaping got torn up pretty bad. Some areas got hit hard and bad. The tornadoes did the damage and I have never seen that much rain before. Has to be records broken. Mother nature created the perfect storm. Has the southern tropical storm with its moisture, humidity, and hot air got here a cold front from the northwest got here at the same time and that spawned the tornado outbreak all over the state. If either of the two fronts came separately none of this would have happened. That is mother nature and not the democrat garbage climate change they made up.
Is it just me or do I notice a distinct lack of stat frauds and liberal losers. Posting her e lately. CRICKETS
Here's something everyone might like, I did.
While walking down the street one day a democrat politician Morton Pigg is tragically hit by a truck and dies.
His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance. 'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter. 'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you. 'No problem, just let me in,' says Mr. Pigg 'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity. 'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says Mr. Pigg. 'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'
And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him. Everyone is very happy and in evening dress.. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.
Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises....
The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.
'Now it's time to visit heaven.' So, 24 hours pass with Mr. Pigg joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.
'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'
Mr. Pigg reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.'
So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above. The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. ' I don't understand,' stammers Mr. Pigg.
'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened? '
The devil looks at him, smiles and says, ' Yesterday we were campaigning...Today you voted.
Fred Slube, the stat frauds and liberal have been exposed as any combination of fools, liars, traitors, and no smarts.
Jeff Miller, the moral being the voter never gets what the liberal says they will give you.
With the off day, no Yankee baseball to discuss, anyways a lot of great posts to live and vote by.
I would like to encourage all Americans who live in democrat run cities and states, if you can, try to move to the red states where republicans are in control. I do not believe votes alone will change blue cities and states into red ones. The cancer of liberal, progressive, left wing political lies and corruption is to deep reaching stage four and killing you all now. My husband and I with our two children got out last year and has been the best thing we ever did.
OK Yankees, don't make a mess of this weekend. The Orioles would just love to beat you and they will try their best, so you need to play hard and give them nothing.
Jeff Miller, that was a long story, it was funny, it made its point, and it was so true.
Every game matters, every game you give away matters. Only wins matter, every win you give away matters.
Lets try not to have any nail biting edge of your seat games this weekend.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Nestor Cortes Jr. (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Joey Gallo (L) LF
3. Aaron Judge (R) CF
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
5. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
6. Luke Voit (R) DH
7. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
8. Rougned Odor (L) 3B
9. Gary Sanchez (R) C
Torres back and in at SS. Sanchez batting 9th. Gallo batting 2nd with Rizzo now 5th.
I Have mixed views on Gallo. Defensively he is perfect for left field. Since donning the Yankee uniform he has struck out in half his at bats. That in my view is unacceptable. A strike out is useless. K's don't advance men on base, are a disaster with a runner on third and less than two outs.
My first post here was about politics. I am also a baseball fan and pull for the Yankees.
0-0 after 2.
Yankees take 2-0 lead after 5.
An easy game with the O's. No way, 2-2 after 7 with the Yankee bats anemic.
Manfraud extra innings tied at 2.
Each team scores one in 10th, but Gallo with a massive failure to win the game when he pops up with runner on third and one out. On to the 11th.
Holmes comes up big in 11th keeping the ghost runner from scoring.
Stanton single wins it 4-3. Yes, another nail biter. There is no mercy for us fans.
Final. Yankees win 4-3 in eleven innings. Stanton single wins it with no outs. Yankees struggle to beat the Orioles again. That really does not matter, only the win matters and keeps the Yanks moving forward.
Monty starts tomorrows game. We need to keep winning, one way or another.
Gallo needs some time off. Hope he is not in the lineup for a few games.
Tonight the biggest culprit was Loaisiga giving up a home run in the 7th on a two strike changeup. If your in for one inning and you have two pitches that are both 97+ mph, you don't throw a 91 mph change up to anybody and get beat throwing a secondary pitch.
It wasn't pretty but it was a win. Holmes got the win with an outstanding effort getting out of a first and third nobody out jam in the 11th.
Lets go Yankees, another win today. A little more easier than yesterdays.
Cortes did his job going 5 2/3 innings allowing one run and leaving with Yanks up 2-1. Loaisiga failed, giving up tying run in 1 1/3 innings. Green did his job for 1 inning. Chapman did his job for 1 inning. Peralta gave up the ghost run for 1 inning. Holmes did not give up the ghost run and earned the win.

Jordan Montgomery (L) P

2. Joey Gallo (L) LF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF

6. Brett Gardner (L) CF
7. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
8. Andrew Velazquez (S) SS
9. Tyler Wade (L) 3B
I really like this lineup. The entire defense may be the best the Yankees can put on the field. And the base path speed may also be the best the Yankees have. Good left handed mix against a right handed starter. Gallo has to run into a HR ball any day now. To take Gallo out would be Wade to left field and Odor to third base.
Lets go Yankees.
When LeMahieu hit the game tying single in the tenth inning last night there are only three guys on this team that would have possibly scored that run last night and all three are in the lineup today. Speed can and does kill.
Lineup at it again. Four innings over. Yankees down 1-0. Yankees do not have a hit.
Montgomery gutted out 5 innings today. He had little and was in trouble several times pitching out of it each time. Leaves game trailing 1-0.
After six innings Yankees trail 1-0 and still do not have a hit. Come on guys.
Yankees get first hit and run in seventh and now trail 3-1.
A sight for sore eyes....Gallo with a 2 run home run in 8th ties the game 3-3 thru 8.
Chapman if for the ninth and allows a run. Then Yankees go down 1,2,3 and lose 4-3 as Chapman fails again.
Rotten game from Yankees today, by everyone. The only bright spot was Higgy who walked twice in two plate appearances and then was pinch hit for. Sanchez who pinch hit for Higgy flied out and then struck out in the ninth. Worst of all, as Chapman struck out the lead off batter in the ninth, Sanchez was unable to catch the third strike and the lead off batter reached first base and then scored the winning run. One sad game by the entire Yankee team.
Final. Yankees lose 4-3. Chapman loses it in relief. Yankee bats completely lost in space today. The one big hit was Gallo's two run home run which tied the game in the eighth. And that was it, nothing else from anyone, nothing. Another loss to the worst team in the division.
So we just played two games with the worst team in MLB and won one and lost one. Played 20 innings and scored seven runs and gave up seven runs. As bad as it can get. The Yankees play
the best teams hard head to head and then roll over when playing weaker teams. That is all on the guys wearing the uniforms.
Kluber tomorrow in an embarrassing rubber game with the Baltimore Orioles.
Kluber should be able to go around six innings tomorrow. It won't make any difference if our lineup does not do their job.
The playoff race is getting tighter as we do not win games.
Todays Yankee Lineup

2. Joey Gallo (L) LF
3. Aaron Judge (R) CF

5. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
6. Luke Voit (R) DH
7. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
8. Rougned Odor (L) 3B
9. Gary Sanchez (R) C
I thought yesterdays lineup was great and they laid and egg. Today in my opinion is a MUST WIN game. Most of all for the mental part of the game which stat frauds know nothing about.
WAKE UP ------ EVERYONE OF YOU ------ WAKE UP
Sanchez hits a grand salami for a 4-1 Yankee lead after 2.
Yanks up 4-2 after 4.
Yanks up 7-4 after 6.
Sanchez hits his second home run of the game in 6th inning. This one a two run Ballantyne blast. Looks as if he has found his niche batting ninth. Two home runs and six RBI's today.
Oh my God, Heaney in to pitch in the seventh.
Boone is an idiot.
Heaney gives up 4 runs while getting 1 out, blows the lead as Yankees now trail 8-7. Pathetic.
Final. Yankees lose 8-7. In the ultimate humiliation, the Yankees in the heat of a pennant race lose 2 of 3 games to the worst team in MLB. There is so much I could say right now, but I will wait till I calm down. Have at it fans, there is so many to blame and so many at fault. Today's game was a disgrace.
I told you so. I just knew it. What a disaster.
What a miserable weekend. It looks like the Yankees got another gun and ammunition. They sure as hell shot themselves in the proverbial foot these lase few games.
Using Heaney, in my opinion, has to be one of the greatest managerial blunders of all time. And I do realize that if Heaney pitched a clean inning I would not be able to say this. However, I did say it before Heaney's first pitch, so I feel as I am not second guessing.
What was Boone saving Green for, to pitch two clean innings after the lead was given up?
And now we face a hot Toronto team. If we lose that series we may be toast.
Horrible, horrendous. Not a good day to be a Yankee fan.
Hopefully no one in the Yankee organization will have a pleasant dinner tonight.
It ain't over until it's over, there is still baseball to play. The guys and teams who step up and win will go to the playoffs, the ones who don't will go home.
After the Oriole series fiasco, the Blue Jays come to NY for four games. Taillon and Cole going in games 1 and 2. No other information. The pressure will be on and it looks like the Yankee players have trouble ahead unless they come alive again.
Hours latter and I still can't reconcile why Boone would use Heaney. Heaney is not a reliever, and to try to put a square peg into a round hole is not very smart and really even possible unless the square peg is smaller then the round hole and that is what we seem to have gotten. A flawed and failed decision.
If the Yankees go on and make the playoffs, and win a some rounds, most of this will be forgotten. Win it all and all this will be forgotten.
The entire season is on the line over these last stretch of games. WINS will determine the best. Only WINS.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jameson Taillon (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Joey Gallo (L) LF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
6. Gary Sanchez (R) C
7. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
8. Brett Gardner (L) CF
9. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
Sanchez batting sixth today = 2 K's & DP. He is full of himself after yesterday.
Boone responding to questions regarding the Yankees being ready for this series and the final 26 games of the season. They know what they have to do. The pressure is no more than the pressure they have played under the entire season. They are all focused and ready to go.
Result.....Yankees down 2-0 after one inning. There are 8 more innings to go.
Yanks down 2-0 after 4.
Despicably embarrassing by Boone. He gives up on his team after eight innings down 3-0. Now the Yankees are down 8-0 coming to bat in ninth.
Boone had the Yankees ready just like he said. Team knew what they had to do, they were focused and they came out blazing and carried it through the entire game. They committed three errors in the first two innings, they gave up two home runs in the first inning and four for the game, they managed five singles, three of which were infield hits, they scored no runs and they gave up eight.
Final. Yankees lose 8-0. Never in it, never tried, no life, no fire, no vim, no vigor, no manager. But they were focused and knew what they had to do.
Cole Yankee starter tomorrow. If he pitches a shutout and the Yanks can eke out a run, Theeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnn.
It is possible that if Cole and the Yankees do not win tomorrow it may take any air that is left in the Yankee balloon and all will be over.
After Cole tomorrow, Gil has been listed for Wednesdays third game, no one as of now for game four.
Why are the Yankees losing. These are the 2,3,4 hitters. Over the last four games Gallo, Judge and Stanton are 4 for 49 with 23 strikeouts. Gallo is 1 for 15 with 10 strikeouts, Judge is 1 for 18 with 6 strikeouts, and Stanton is 2 for 16 with 7 strikeouts.
Also, now with Sanchez, Torres, Urshela, Voit in lineup, the Yankees have no speed, on life, no running game. Need to get back to Velasquez, Wade, Gardner. Get on base and run.
But, if the power bats do not produce NOW, when it matters most, this team is in trouble.
I wonder if Cashman has the wherewithal to make some real big trades this winter getting rid of the dead wood like Torres, Sanchez, and others for one or two solid contact on base hitters who can play defense and bring up some of our youngsters who are producing in the minors.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Aaron Judge (R) CF
3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
5. Luke Voit (R) DH
6. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
7. Brett Gardner (L) LF
8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
9. Andrew Velazquez (S) SS
Gallo, Sanchez, and Torres out. That is a + + +.
Lets go Yankees, we need wins.
Yanks down 1-0 after 2.
Cole pulls himself from game with some sort of discomfort. This could end the Yankee season.
Cole leaves game in 4th with an issue of some kind.
Cole out of game in 4th. David Cone is speculating it might be a blister on his pitching hand. Hope that is all it is.
First report on Cole...he left game with left hamstring tightness. I guess that is good news compared to so many other possibilities.
Yanks down 4-1 after 5.
Final. Yankees lose 5-3. Running out of excuses.
The Yankee put it on the back of Gil, who with 15 MLB innings under his belt will start tomorrows game against the red hot Blue Jays. The Yankees have scored just one run in these last two games against the Jays, and unless the lineup cam score runs we will get what we have gotten this past week.
Two games into this four game series and we know we can't win the series. Need two wins just to get even.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Luis Gil (R) P
1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
6. Joey Gallo (L) LF
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Rougned Odor (L) 3B
9. Andrew Velazquez (S) SS
Certainly different. Desperately need a win.
As of now, Cole has said he does not know if he will make his next start scheduled for Sunday against the Mets.
Yankees trailing again, 3-0 after four innings. Gil was great for three innings except for control. Umpire not once gave him a close pitch.
Time to acknowledge and celebrate the greatest MLB player over the past three decades who was inducted in the baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, NY today. The one, the only, DEREK JETER.
3-3 thru 6. Gardner 3 run home run.
Behind again. 4-3 after 7.
Final. Yankees lose 6-3. Now trail for first wild card spot and on a downward trend.
Cortes to start game four, and all he and the Yankees can do is try to prevent a four game sweep.
If we lose tomorrow we may well not make the playoffs. Heads will have to roll. A lot of heads.
I can't believe how bad the Yankees are playing. If the Yankees do not make the playoffs, this season will go down as one of the top Yankee embarrassments in team history.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Nestor Cortes Jr. (L) P
1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Joey Gallo (L) LF
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Tyler Wade (L) 2B
9. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
Looks like Boone is trying anything. That may be the problem.
What happened on this day to make it one of the darkest days in American history...November 20, 1942?
Yanks down 1-2 after 2.
2-2 after 6.
Rizzo 2 run HR ties game at 2 in 6th
Final. Yankees lose 6-4. The nightmare continues. This is the first time since 1908 the Yankees got swept in a four game series and never had a lead at anytime.
Next for Yankees. Three game series with Mets in Queens. Monty and Kluber starting first two games. The Yankees are in trouble and need wins.
Yankees ten game series.

131-140 2-8 = 78-62
The Yankees after four great ten game series, are in the midst of giving all they played for back after their last horrendous series going 2-8. Two ten game series and two games left in the regular season to find out. As we here at WIN METHOD say....win or go home.
Yankees Mets play three game series in New York. This series marks and celebrates the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy caused by muslim islamic terrorists. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
Never forget
There will be heart felt ceremonies in NYC this weekend. Never forget what happened and the pigs who were responsible must be wiped out and never negotiated with.
The Yankees have given away their 40 game run of .750 baseball, but if they can win enough games over their last 22 they can still make the playoffs.
9/11 NEVER FORGET!!!
Lets go Yankees. It isn't over. Never forget 9/11. It isn't over.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Jordan Montgomery (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Brett Gardner (L) CF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
5. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
6. Joey Gallo (L) LF
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
9. Jordan Montgomery (L) P
No designated hitter in the 4A lesser league. Stanton sits, Monty hits.
Gary Sanchez on a first inning play at the plate with the runner ten feet away from home plate receives the throw right in front of home plate from left fielder Joey Gallo and steps aside to let the runner slide into home plate safely. If I was manager I would have removed Sanchez from the game instantly. Also he wouldn't play for the rest of the season.
Yanks down 8-2 after 4.
Tonight is an embarrassment of unbelievable proportions, hitting, pitching, fielding, and mentally. So sad to see.
Final. Yankees lose 10-3. Could be the worst all around game the Yankees have played this season and they have played some real bad games.
The present joe-bama/commie MALADY administration is the third term of the Obama administration and is even more foul, corrupt, and anti-America and the American people than the first two. Obama found the two perfect flunky stooges to front for him.
How do you spell TREASON?
I wonder if Boone has gone off on any player, or is he not allowed to be mean to them. Girardi lost his job because he was mean to the lump Sanchez.
It's Kluber tomorrow for the Yankees. Can the Yankees as a team stop the skid?
Tony Manchu, so true. Not good for the average citizen.
Sure hope the Yankees have 'ace' up their sleeve. Getting close to the end of the game.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Corey Kluber (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Brett Gardner (L) CF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
5. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
7. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
9. Corey Kluber (R) P
Just maybe todays Yankee lineup will be a winning one.
9/11 NEVER FORGET..........America was attacked by Islamic terrorists with hate filled hearts.
Lets go Yankees 9/11 Never forget America must win Freedom must survive
Final. Yankees win 8-7. Yes, win, finally. Higashioka, Gardner, and Judge two home runs. Chapman gets the save.
Yankees do not have a starting pitcher named for tonight yet. Will be interesting to see how to patch together nine innings tonight in the garbage network ESPN, game.
Now the Yankees need to start another win streak even if its only 2 or 3 games. Lose 1 then win 2 or 3, lose 1 then win 2 or 3.
Clarke Schmidt starting for Yankees tonight.
After Schmidt, then who and then who and so on.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Clarke Schmidt (R)
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
3. Aaron Judge (R) CF
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
5. Joey Gallo (L) RF
6. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
9. Clarke Schmidt (R) P
Only two left handed batters against a right handed pitcher. Can the Yanks make it two in a row.
You can add Torres to the list of players who should never wear the Yankee uniform ever again.
One wild game tonight. This is just 1 game of 162 and the intensity is just like the 7th game of a World Series. Baseball, the world's greatest game.
Final. Yankees lose 7-6. What a battle and a great game to watch. Wrong team won.
At least the Yankees looked alive tonight and fought to the end. Sloppy defense cost them again. So many pitcher hurt and they still fight on.
Yankees will play rainout makeup game with Twins today. Gil is starting for Yankees.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Luis Gil (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B
2. Brett Gardner (L) CF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Joey Gallo (L) LF
6. Luke Voit (R) 1B
7. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
8. Tyler Wade (L) SS
9. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
Not so smart move, the Yankees send Velasquez to the minors so they can play a pathetic defender Torres. Could explain why the team has been losing.
Gil gives up four runs in first inning.
Yanks down 5-0 after 4.
Judge 3 run home run in 8th ties game at 5 all.
Yankee ninth inning, Gallo Ks on a pitch in the dirt, Voit Ks on a pitch low and outside, Torres Ks on a pitch in the dirt. On to the tenth and the fake runner on second.
Sanchez single scores the ghost for a 6-5 win in tenth.
Final. Yankees win 6-5 in ten innings. Trailing 5-0 after five innings, the Yankees chipped away with 1 in 6th, 1 in 7th, 3 in 8th, and the winning run in 10th. Gil gave up 4 runs in 1st but went on to give the Yankees length going 6 innings.
Nice come from behind win today. Next up the Orioles, Tue, Wed, and Thu. Cole starts tomorrow. Then the Indians Fri, Sat, and Sun.
Now is a great time for a week of wins.
Lets go Yankees.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Gerrit Cole (R) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B
2. Aaron Judge (R) CF
3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
5. Luke Voit (R) DH
6. Joey Gallo (L) RF
7. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
8. Gio Urshela (R) SS
9. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
Wins are the only stat that counts. And the Yankees need wins. We would be a better team tonight if Velasquez was on the team playing short, then DJ is at 2nd and Gio at 3rd. Torres on bench or gone.
Yankees lead 5-0 thru three innings. Judge and Stanton with two run home runs and Voit with a solo home run.
Yanks up 5-1 after 6.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnnn. 7-2.
Final. Yankees win 7-2. Cole goes five innings. 108 pitches. King goes three scoreless innings. The garbage Romano, who should in no way be on this team, goes 1/3 allowing a run and leaves with two men on base. Chapman has to be used and does what is needed striking out the final two outs.
Good win tonight.
Cortes starts Wednesday and Montgomery Thursday for Yankees.
Baltimore is almost a totally right handed lineup, and it just so happens our next two starters are lefties. Just win both games.
The Yankees scored all 7 of their runs last night on 5 home runs. I hope they don't go swing from the heels happy and forget to play baseball as it should be played. Hits, walks, steals. contact, bunts, hit and run, and score runs in all ways when it matters most.
Todays Yankee Lineup
Nestor Cortes Jr. (L) P
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
5. Luke Voit (R) DH
6. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Brett Gardner (L) CF
9. Gio Urshela (R) SS
Lets keep winning.
0-0 after 2.
Clinging to a 2-1 lead thru 7.
Final. Yankees win 4-3. The good and bad of a win. Urshela 2 run home run for a 2-0 lead in second inning. Cortes goes 6 1/3 allowing 1 run and leaves leading 2-1. Green who replaced Cortes gives up 2 run home run in 8th putting Yankees in hole 3-2. Gardner with a 2 rbi single in the 9th to put Yanks up 4-3. Chapman come in to close game and needs just 8 pitches for a 1,2,3 inning and the save. Gardner has the only Yankee rbi's for these two games on a base hit. All other runs have been on home runs. Gardner's single scoring the game tying and game winning runs when it mattered most for the win.
