WIN METHOD YANKEE BASEBALL 2021 SEASON -- FULL SEASON

Hello WIN METHOD Yankee fans, the smartest baseball fans on the face of the earth.  It has been a long time since I last blog posted.  However, there have been comments within the blog from me.  So here we go for 2021.

First, the Yankees will be in the playoffs again this season, but they also will play in the World Series.  In talking with players, they are not happy with what they have achieved the past few seasons.  They feel they have something to prove and want to do it now.  Most of the players have undertaken a new or modified training program instituted by the training staff.  Look for less injuries and less severe injuries this season.  That will be a step forward and a plus for the team as a whole.

Second, Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon both feel very optimistic with what each will contribute to the Yankees success this season.  Both players believe their injuries are behind them.  As of now, the Yankee starting rotation looks like it will have four men in the first four spots right now.  Cole, Kluber, Taillon, and Montgomery.  The fifth spot will be determined in March.  The guys who do not make the fifth spot will either be sent to AAA Scranton or long relievers on the big team.  Then the big guy Louie Louie Severino will make his return to the Bronx in June.  The pitching staff looks solid and has many fall back arms to rely on.  The bullpen remains solid and strong, also with several young arms looking to make an impact.

Third, the lineup will be solid again, more important, will be healthier.  Runs will be put on the board.  The biggest question mark will be at catcher.  Catcher Gary Sanchez has been a black hole in the Yankee lineup recently, ala afraud in the past.  Gary Sanchez is being mentored and talked to by coaches and trainers.  Sanchez feels it is helping him,  As the season starts, we will all see if it has.  Sanchez himself is the only person who can really make it happen.  It is up to him.  A big WIN METHOD season from Sanchez would be a big help to the lineup and the team.  If he does what he has been doing the last couple of seasons, Gary's days could be short lived.

As you all know I always read all posts by all of you who post here.  Looking at the numbers of views recorded on the WIN METHOD blog there are also an enormous number of fans who read the blog consistently.  You fans will take this blog, the number one Yankee baseball blog in the world over the one billion mark somewhere around June 1st this year.  You are the people who take this blog in the direction you want it to go on a daily, weekly, monthly, or whatever time frame basis.  This past year, we saw a very shortened baseball season, we saw a disgusting Chinese created virus, spread throughout the world by the most foul Chinese government, killing millions of people from all countries across the globe.  We had a presidential election here in America.  The election was the most corrupt election in the history of America stolen by the most corrupt politicians in America's history.  We now have the most corrupt politicians in America's history running our country.  They will do their best to destroy America.  Hopefully, you the people will do whatever you need to do to stop the destruction.

It is now back to baseball and a great Yankee season.  Thank all of you for reading and posting your views and opinions in this blog.  You are the people who have made the WIN METHOD blog the best and greatest Yankee baseball blog, forum, or site in the world.  We here are WIN METHOD will continue to have no signups, no ask for no personal information from you, no advertisements, and no bans of anyone.  You, your views, and your opinions do not get canceled here.  Unlike big tech, other baseball forums or sites which control you by banning or canceling you, here, that will never happen.

One more thing before I conclude.  I would like to recognize the life and pay my respects to RUSH HUDSON LIMBAUGH III who passed away February 17th.  Rush was the greatest radio and political commentator of all time.  Rush's radio career spanned over thirty years.  Rush's show was three hours a day, five days week, fifty-two weeks a year.  Rush was right 99.8% of the time and one of the finest American patriots who believed in freedom and pursuit of happiness of every single American.   Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.

It is baseball time again.  Lets look forward to a great season and as always LETS GO YANKEES.

Boone's decisions scare me all to often. But we won.

Final. Yankees win 5-3. And another nail biter down to the last out and play of the game. Cortes did more than anyone could ask for and earns the win as Yanks take another series.

bigbadwolf said...

It hasn't been any season, but mark my words, it sure will be a memorable one.

Cory said...

Cole, Montgomery, and Sanchez all back this week.

Cole will start tomorrow against the Angels in a rain makeup game.

Monty will start Tuesday against the sux in one game of the day/night double header.

Sanchez could be in any game any time.

Owenstheone said...

So with Cole and Monty back. We have a rotation of those two, Tallion, Gil? Cortes?

Lee King said...

Hopefully, Cole and Monty will come back strong. Lineup needs to produce a little more often so that every game is not a drama.

Veerayut Maneechote said...

Play one game at a time, play to win, play as a team, produce when it matters most. WINS are the only stat that counts and matters.

Yankeefan2 said...

It looks as if Gil will pitch the other game with the sux on Tuesday.

Win or lose it will be a great six weeks for the run to the playoffs. Of course winning will make it fun for the winning teams fans.

NJYANKEE said...

Is it possible Cole could go seven innings tonight? It would be a big help to the staff.

Stan the Man said...

Cole goes 5 2/3 allowing 1 run, 2 hits, 1 walk, and strikes out 9. Leaves game up 2-1.

Yankeefan2 said...

Yankees load bases with no outs in 6th. Stanton K's as usual on a low outside pitch and Voit grounds into a double play. Not good at all. Yanks clinging to 2-1 lead thru 6.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 2-1. Cole gets win going 5 2/3 allowing a solo home run. Bullpen goes 3 1/3 of shutout ball. Gallo 2 run home run all the Yankee runs. Massive fail by Stanton and Voit in sixth inning with bases loaded and no outs, a strikeout and a double play kept Angels in game. Yes, another nail biter one run game.

Nick Polito said...

Three games with the sux in two days. Split double header tomorrow. 1PM first game, 7PM second game. Gil and Monty will start, who goes first not yet determined. Both games seven innings. Wednesday third game will be started by Heaney. Hope we hit better than tonight. Sanchez will start one of the games.

BostonYankee said...

Sweep the sux and send them packing.

Monty listed for first game this afternoon and Gil will go in night game.

Cole came back strong last night for the win. Hope Monty can replicate that today.

1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Brett Gardner (L) CF
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Joey Gallo (L) DH
5. Luke Voit (R) 1B
6. Rougned Odor (L) 3B
7. Gary Sanchez (R) C
8. Tyler Wade (L) LF
9. Andrew Velazquez (S) SS

Our lefthanded hitting lineup. Let go Yankees.

Hobbs said...

The good, Velarde singles with the bases loaded and two outs driving in two runs when it matters most for a 2-0 Yankee lead after two innings. Everyone contributes.

The bad, Montgomery gives up a single with two out and runners on second and third in the top of the third for a 2-2 tie.

candycane said...

2-2 after 3.

Yanks23245 said...

That was one heck of a garbage pitch Monty threw to Boggarts on an 0-2 count. Right over the heart of the plate and Boggarts did not miss it tying up the game. Cone mentioned it on TV saying he had no idea why Monty threw that pitch and where he threw it.

Walt Belamy said...

Monty goes 4 2/3 and leaves trailing 3-2. Abreu in and closes out the fifth. Yanks down 3-2 coming to bat in the fifth of a seven inning game.

Phil Esposito said...

Yankees score three times in fifth for a 5-3 lead. Two RBI single from Voit, and a RBI single from Stanton.

Stanley Chin said...

Theeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!! 5-3 as Loaisiga after loading the bases gets out of the jam big time getting the final three outs.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 5-3. Seven inning little league Manfred rules game. And yes, again the game went down to the last out and batter. Seventh inning, Yanks up 5-3, sux load bases with no outs. Loasigia pitching and his game to win or lose as Boone has no one up in the bullpen. 3-2 count and a liner to short/medium left, runners hold. One out, 3-2 count and a strikeout for the second out. Third batter strikes out with no drama. Another nail biter game. But another win. Monty kept Yanks in game. Lineup got a few hits for enough runs for the win.

Game two at seven o'clock with Gil starting.

Hobbs said...

Another 1 or 2 run game. Best, another win. Only wins gets a team to the playoffs.

Linda Pardo said...

Big win in first game. Gil going in game two. Do it again. When it counts.

Ziggy Mann said...

It's nice to win the first game of a double header, but a loss in the second game just wastes the day and knocks two games off the schedule. Win game two and the day becomes a great day.

Tim Hergenraeder said...

You have to give sux credit, they didn't roll over and give up in the last inning. They suffered the agony of defeat however.

1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
2. Brett Gardner (L) CF
3. Aaron Judge (R) DH
4. Joey Gallo (L) LF
5. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
6. Rougned Odor (L) 3B
7. Luke Voit (R) 1B
8. Tyler Wade (L) SS
9. Kyle Higashioka (R) C

Gil will be tested tonight. So what, keep the team in the game and hope the hitters produce when it count for the win.

candycane said...

Yanks up 2-0 after 4.

Victor Grandozi said...

Gil goes 4 2/3, 0 runs, 3 hits, 4 walks, and leaves with a 2-0 lead mid fifth.

White Knight said...

Green comes in to try to close out game. And he does with no drama, infield foul pop, strikeout, grounder to short, 1,2,3 the Yankees win 2-0.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 2-0. Sweep double header. Gil great, Peralta great, Green great, seven innings of shutout ball. Voit and Stanton each with a home run for the runs.

Barry West said...

Heaney tomorrow to try to sweep the sux three game series.

Cory said...

Yankees ten game series.

001-010 5-5
010-020 4-6 = 9-11
021-030 7-3 = 16-14
031-040 6-4 = 22-18
041-050 7-3 = 29-21
050-060 2-8 = 31-29
060-070 6-4 = 37-33
071-080 4-6 = 41-39
081-090 5-5 = 46-44
091-100 7-3 = 53-47
100-110 8-2 = 61-49
101-120 7-3 = 68-52

Another magnificent ten game series. Injured and sick slowing coming back and the Yankees are now hitting the stride everyone expected at the start of the season. 162 games makes for a season that allows for many ups and downs. Four more ten game series left. Three quarters of the race to the playoffs are in the books, the final quarter will determine what players and teams are the best in baseball.

With Cole and Monty back, this is very likely Heaney's final Yankee start. Heaney is a 50-50 pitcher. When he is on he can beat anyone, when he is off he can lose to anyone. Hope he is on for the sox and gives the Yankees a chance to win.

Victor Bruno said...

I am rooting for a quality start from Heaney. If he gives us more, great. If he gives us less, hope the lineup produces more than the sux do. Think positive, players are competitive and only the loser players get satisfaction out of their teams failure. IE Mike Trout and others.

Chapman coming in for the ninth. Now the fun begins. He hasn't seen action in 12 days.

Yanks23245 said...

Chapman is a nightmare. Strikes out first batter on a pitch out of the strike zone. Second batter hits 456 foot home run. Third batter walks. Fourth batter rips a bullet grounder but Rizzo gloves it for the second out. Fifth batter rifles a single to right. Tying run coming to bat and Chapman is taken out after making an easy win into a nail biter. Luetge coming in to face the sixth batter. Ground out to short, but it was not easy. Velasquz makes a back hand stab of a scorched ground ball deep into the hole, he bounces up and throws a bullet to first base and Rizzo digs the ball out of the dirt to nip the runner by a hair. Replay called and after a couple of minutes the out call is made. Final 5-2.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 5-2. Heaney earns the win with seven innings of one run ball and giving the Yankees every chance in the world to win. Velasquez and Rizzo with two rbi's each and great defense by each especially in the ninth inning where they likely saved the game. Save thee game, because Chapman who came in for the ninth did all he could to blow the game. Fortunately Boone had Luetge up and throwing if needed, and indeed he was called in and earned his first save of his career.

Our Yankees will host the Minnesota Twins for a four game series starting tomorrow. For the first time the Yankees have their rotation set. Taillon, Cortes, Cole, and Montgomery. That leave Gil for Monday and Taillon for Tuesday against Atlanta. Wednesday off day. Then Cortes, Cole, Montgomery, Gil for four game series with Oakland.

sid greenberg,nyc said...

I feel the biggest help to this team came at the trade deadline. Adding the left handed bats of Rizzo and Gallo made the power four LRLF a major force for opposing pitchers to navigate thru. Gil was a major shot in the arm. Velasquez has helped, just with his enthusiasm, getting several really big hits when they really mattered, and his impeccable defense. No other Yankee shortstop could have made the play he did tonight. Gardner defense in center is great and he has become a real peat at the plate for opposing pitchers. The team is getting better every day right now with players returning from injury and or the virus. All of this has renewed the teams desire for success this season and it is being shown by how much almost all players are stepping up their game.

Ned Green said...

The worm has now officially turned. It was mentioned by posters a few weeks back that it would and it has. Boone has miraculously turned from and idiot to a genius. Isn't it funny how winning or losing can change peoples perceptions. Boone is the same person he has always been.

WIN METHOD said...

To cleanse the minds of the idiots who demean players constantly and the stat frauds who believe made up formulas are what defines players talents, wake up you bozos.

Every player who gets to play in a MLB games is a very talented. Each player has different talents and to different degrees. That is the makeup of every MLB team. The manager and his coaches are the people who help develop each players talents and they figure out how and when to use each talent. The desired result is only one thing, and it id not any players individual stats. It is WINS first, it is WINS second, and it is WINS third. That is the trifecta for a team to reach the playoffs. Nothing else matters, nothing. Exit velocity doesn't matter and neither does how far you hit the ball. A bloop single or a slow infield roller single has the same value as a line drive single to the outfield. A home run hit 310 feet, 360 feet, 400 feet, 450 feet or even 500 feet all have the same value and all are equal. The mental part of the game is dismissed by the bozo crowd. I can go on infinitum about mental baseball, but why don't all of you think about it for a while. I know the WIN METHOD fans know all this, but how about you bozo's use your mind and try to figure it out.

Yankeeforever said...

From the mouth of WIN METHOD wisdom for intelligent baseball fans. For the bozos, they will be unable to comprehend, compute, or understand.

Solid lineup. Boone is going all out using the RLRL approach. For a pitcher, just getting through the first five is a chore. From what I have seen, when a lineup is like that from 1-5, the pitcher seems to relax when he looks as 6-9. That is when the mistakes and under estimations hurt the pitcher.

Final. Yankees win 5-1. Tenth consecutive win. Monty goes five allowing one run, keeps Yanks in game and leaves leading 3-1 to earn the win. Loaisiga throws two overwhelmingly dominant scoreless innings. Peralta throws one shutout inning. Chapman finishes up with a 1,2,3 ninth.

Nice win to start the road trip. Heaney tomorrow against Yankee killer Morton. Keep scoring guys and if Heaney keeps us alive we can win number eleven.

Sanchez made it easy with a two out bases loaded 2 rbi single for the insurance runs to make it 5-1. So Stanton and Sanchez both with two out two rbi hits tonight. Yes fans WHEN IT MATTERED MOST, for the win. Not how much nor how many, but WHEN IT MATTERS MOST!

NJYANKEE said...

After last nights game Yankee manager Aaron Boone commented about the ten game win streak and the WIN METHOD.

“What’s been nice about it is, it’s been the entire roster,” Boone said. “All 26 guys in there are playing important roles in this and having big hands in us winning ballgames. And that’s a fun thing to be a part of.

“Knowing that guy 1 through 26 is going to be counted on, and chances are maybe in a big spot … I feel like guys are locked in with that mindset of, ‘What can I do to help us win a ballgame today?, and that's WIN METHOD baseball."

Cory said...

The Yankees also had a ten game win streak in September 2020 during the 60 game season. This ten game streak is bigger because last season the games were limited in scope to who each team played, while this season you play far more teams and a full season 162 games.

Wild exciting game in hotlanta. Yankees lead 4-3 after five.

jimbo said...

The Yankee worked all game to take a 5-3 lead into the 9th. Chapman in for the save but he spits the bit and is now relieved by Peralta with the bases loaded, two outs, the score is now 5-4 and the Braves best player Freeman at bat. Here we go. Ball one, foul ball, 1-1, ball two, 2-1, ball three, 3-1, swinging strike, 3-2, foul ball, 3-2, foul ball, 3-2, foul ball, 3-2, fly out to deep left. Peralta saves the game as Chapman fails again.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 5-4. Peralta has to come in to save Chapman and the game by getting the final out with the bases loaded. A ten pitch at battle with Peralta throwing pitch after pitch on a 3-2 count before getting the final out on a fly ball. Yankee pitchers did their job for the win, all except Chapman. Three home runs for the Yankees do it. Odor, Stanton, and a two run one from LeMahieu. That is the Yankees 11th straight win.

I'm still shaking after that ninth inning and watching Chapman.

Everyone who voted for any candidate in any category mentioned above all are to blame and you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Look what America is becoming, a cesspool of ignorance, kids are not learning, what they do learn is either lies or evil. Inflation is exploding. America was energy independent and fuel prices were low, not anymore. The keystone pipeline was stopped and now we have sky high fuel prices. Or southern border was under control as the wall was being built and illegals could no longer storm of the border. Not anymore, the wall was stopped, the border was opened without any control and now illegals from all over the world are storming over the border. Many have the Covid virus and these people are allowed to freely travel all over the country infecting America citizens. The administration of scum is trying to pass trillion dollar bills that will destroy America forever. Now we have the debacle in Afghanistan. This is what you got when you voted for anyone in Rthe categories above. You voted and got the scum of America. And if you do not think this is true, you also are part of the scum of America.

In 2022 we all must try to correct the damage being done. VOTE VOTE VOTE AND ONLY VOTE FOR PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP SUMPPORTED CANDIDATES IN 2020 AND EVERY ELECTION OF ANY KIND FOREVER GOING FOREVER. Taillon taken out as he cracks big time. Leave up 6-5, men on first and third are his and there are two outs. Abreu coming in. Giving up 5 runs when your team stakes you to a 6-0 lead is atrocious. Abreu gives up a walk to load the bases. Ground out ends inning. Yanks still lead 6-5.

WIN METHOD fans all know wins are the only stat that matters in baseball. The frauds spout made up formulas, exit velocity, and other garbage. The bloop single is what we got from Aaron Judge last night and it won the game for the Yankees.

Being a Yankee fan and enjoying the resurgence of my team right now is hard because of what our the people running out country are doing right now. I agree with what Marilyn Z posted. This country right now is in total control by the lowest for of human life, lower than the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and Isis. We know they hate us and trying to destroy us. The present administration hates us and is trying to destroy us also, but they look into out faces and lie about it and tell us how much good they are doing for us. We must eliminate the present administration and all who support them.
