This season we appear to have improved the roster in all areas. Adding Stanton, Walker, Drury, etc. will surely make this team better. Having Robertson, Kahnle, and Gray for the entire season should also improve the team. The only injury of consequence is Greg Birds bone spur, the surgery he just underwent, and him being out for about two months. As usual we will play the hand we are dealt and overcome all roadblocks and obstacles.
We have several players at AAA Scranton chomping at the bit while blooming and growing that will be heard from and make their presence felt this season. You know their names, Torres, Andujar, German, and others. This 2018 Yankee team is deep, has gained confidence and experience, and has backups close at hand.
As I started to write this post I noticed a post by Cory. I thought his post was very insightful and positive and I didn't want it to get bypassed because of being posted in a past blog, so I am reposting it right here now. Thank you for your post Cory.
----- I will be doing the ten game sets and posting them here as I did last season.
Here is the sets from last season.
10. 6-4
20. 7-3 = 13-7
30. 8-2 = 21-9
40. 3-7 = 24-16
50. 6-4 = 30-20
60. 7-3 = 37-23
70. 2-8 = 39-31
80. 4-6 = 43-37
90. 4-6 = 47-43
100. 7-3 = 54-46
110. 5-5 = 59-51
120. 6-4 = 65-55
130. 5-5 = 70-60
140. 5-5 = 75-65
150. 8-2 = 83-67
160. 7-3 = 90-70
Note the sets from games 61-90. We were 10-20. That is awful baseball. Still finished 91-71. With everything else staying the same if that 30 game skid could be bettered this season to just 15-15 that would mean this season could wind up 96-66. If we improve the three 5-5 sets from last season by one game that would take this season to 99-63. And if we raise the 3-7 set to 4-6 that could take this season to 100 wins.
It will be up to the players on the field producing when it matters most, but it is surely possible.-----
It is not only Cory with great posts, it is all of your posts, every single one of you from all over the world who post your comments and views here. And all of the readers of the WIN METHOD blog from all over the world, even if you do not post. We have surpassed 320 million views and are getting bigger and bigger every day. Yes, we still get some stat frauds, but they are good for us and also and serve a purpose. The stat frauds give us a guidepost and remind us of just how meaningless and useless their individual stats are. There is no doubt to anyone here who is a WIN METHOD fan that only wins can take a team to the playoffs. Only wins and winning as always, do now, and always will in the future, determine the best players and teams. THANK YOU ALL WIN METHOD FANS.
Now it is just about that time where we all stand up and cheer our team for the 2018 season!
LETS GO YANKEES

«Oldest ‹Older 601 – 800 of 2301 Newer› Newest»0-0 after six. German comes out after six allowing 0 runs, 0 hits, 2 walks, 9 K's. Betances in for the 7th.
What a great effort from German. And he looked so cool, calm, and collected. Another WIN METHOD gem.
The good today. German six inning no hit start.
The bad today. Judge flailing at and trying to pull outside pitches instead of trying to drive them to right field. His batting average is falling like a rock.
No score after seven. Betances with a 1,2,3 seventh. Indians still with no hits. Would hate to lose this game.
After a good 7th inning Betances back to his garbage in the 8th giving up 3 consecutive singles to the first 3 hitters and is pulled. One run in, two men on, and no outs.
Yanks down 4-3 after 8.
After Yankees give up 4 runs in top of 8th they come back with 3 in the bottom half.
Torres with a three run walk off HR for 7-4 win.
Final, another unbelievable win. 7-4 as Yankees come from behind 4-0. Torres walk off 3 run home run wins it. Sweep of Indians.
Swwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppp. Yanks sweep another series with 7-4 come from behind win.
The Yankees continue to find ways to win. Another walk off win. This one on Torres HR. A truly magical season.
You just gotta love the Yankee never give up attitude. I do feel sorry for German today after his brilliant six innings. And I feel sorry for Betances after his continued failures.
In this series the Yankees had two starters CC and German that each pitched six innings of shutout ball and neither got a win. Most important, the team won.
Beautiful job by German. He has three pitches, uses them all, and throws them for strikes. He may have a long career in from of him.
After 18 straight games finally a day off and then we host the first place sux for three games. Our rotation is Louie Louie, Tanaka, and CC. Lets win another series.
But first, enjoy the day off everyone. Well deserved.
Off day fans. Chill and enjoy. Tomorrow we host the sux. Yes we can and yes we will.
Continue to move forward and win the sux series.
Torres at 21 is already better than Cano was during his career. Torres is a brilliant defender with abilities that rival the best infielder since 1995 in Derek Jeter.
Lets give the sux a washing.
As a fan, I do appreciate a day off also. But I'll be ready tomorrow.
Some of our injured are on the mend and we will see if and when they get to play for the Yankees again.
We face a left tomorrow and Wednesday. Plays nicely into our power laden right handed lineup.
With the off day yesterday all of our starters will pitch with an extra day off this week. Give us another gem Louie Louie.
As usual let's start the series with a win and move forward from there.
The bullpen is rested and we will soon get Kahnle and Warren back. That will make the bullpen even better, since both were throwing with injury discomfort.
Tuesday 5/8 7:05pm
Luis Severino (R)
vs. Red Sox - Drew Pomeranz (L)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
7. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
8. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
Our rockem and sockem lineup. So lets rockem and sockem.
Go with the pitch guy. If he pitches you outside don't try to pull the pitch. Control the strike zone and make him throw strikes, then pound the ball. Lets go Yankees.
Keep playing WIN METHOD baseball. Produce when it counts. Everyone contributes.
Score early and control the game. Lets go Yankees/
1-0 Yankees after 2 on Stanton HR.
Stanton second HR of game gives Yankees 2-0 lead after four.
Now 2-1 Yanks thru 5. Come on guys, score some runs.
sux tie it in 7th at 2. Yanks load bases with 1 out and Judge singles in run but Torres out at plate for 2nd out. Didi grounds out. Yankees just can't put the hammer down. Lead 3-2 after 7.
Yanks up 3-2 thru 7.
Yankees have second runner of game thrown out at home plate in 8th inning. Lead 3-2 and Chapman coming in for the save try.
Another nail biter, but another win. 3-2.
Final, Yanks win 3-2.
Chapman gets the save. Yanks win another.
Yanks take first game of the sux series 3-2.
Tanaka's turn tomorrow night. We need to score some runs.
We are winning several games by the skin of our teeth, but they are still wins, and wins are all that matters. Over the past couple of weeks we have defeated the best teams in baseball.
We face Porcello tonight. Price is undergoing medical tests since he his pitching so poorly. Lets go Yankees.
We can win the sux series tonight. Lets go Yankees.
Porcello hasn't pitched a bad game in 7 starts thise is season and is 5-0. Maybe he is due for a bad game where we can beat him.
This is great and so telling. The following is from a stat fraud on a Yankee forum that abounds in not very intelligent baseball fans.
"""""""""""There is not one player on the Yankee team who is hot offensively, maybe other than Torres. Tonight Stanton was fantastic. But he is hitting .237. Judge got a big hit. But he has been trending down for weeks. Gardner horrible. Hicks not much better but at least he gets a big hit every once in a while. Sanchez not hitting. Andujar slumping after a great start. Austin hasn't gotten a hit since coming back from his suspension. Gregorius not hitting. AND THE TEAM IS WINNING!!!!"""""""""""
The team is winning because it doesn't matter how much or how many a play attains but it does matter WHEN a player attains {produces} to help his team win games. What fools these stat frauds be. Frauds, step into the light and real world, get out from the darkness and fantasy world, join the WIN METHOD.
If Tanaka is on his game, a couple of crooked numbers on the scoreboard may be all we need. We won yesterday with none.
Wednesday 5/9 7:05pm
Masahiro Tanaka (R)
vs. Red Sox - Rick Porcello (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
7. Neil Walker (S) 1B
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
What a luvaly lineup. Lets go Yankees.
Steve, You nailed another stat fraud. They make fools of themselves and put on display their utter ignorance over and over.
Maybe we can produce when it counts early in tonights game. Get a lead and put all the pressure on the sux. Lets go Yankees.
Louie Louie gives me the impression he will be a major pitching force for a long time. He has so smooth and easy. No violent movement, nothing herky jerky. Throws strikes and attacks batters. He appears to have everything you want to see in a pitcher. Look at so many other top pitchers, even Kershaw, Price, and so many others having physical issues.
Steve, you, I, and so many other posters here have been run out of the forums for showing intelligence, insight, and wisdom regarding Yankee players and baseball, and baseball in general. Every once in awhile a poster or two types something intelligent and worthwhile, but they are few and far in between.
Lets go Tanaka, lets go Yankees.
It wasn't a crooked number, but the Yanks score 1 in the first for a 1-0 lead.
Yanks down 2-1 after 2.
Tanaka struggling with 67 pitches through three innings. Hope he can get through two more.
There's a crooked number. Yankees producing well when it counts so far tonight. Put up a e spot in the 3rd for a 4-2 lead.
Boone pushing the envelope as Tanaka comes out for the sixth with Yanks leading 5-3.
Tanaka starts 6th with allowing a double, and gives up a run and is replaced by Green. Yanks lead 5-4 mid 6th. It's going to be a bullpen game now.
Green gives up 2 run HR, Yanks down 6-5 mid 7th.
Yankees put up a very nice crooked number in 8th scoring 4 runs and taking a 9-6 lead after 8.
The Yankees tonight pounded a 5-0 pitcher and then the sux bullpen.
Gardner 2 run triple followed by Judge 2 run HR put Yankees in front 9-6 after 8. Chapman coming in to close it out.
Don't forget the producing when it counts of Shreve and particularly Holder prevent the sux from scoring in the 8th with men on 2nd and 3rd and no outs.
Tonights win was the Yankees 10th come from behind win this season.
Final, Yankees win 9-6. Chance for series sweep tomorrow.
One heck of a ride this Yankee team and the Yankee fans are on.
CC starts tomorrow and can help the Yankees sweep the sux.
CC starts today. Brooms are in hand and ready to do their job. If CC earns the win he will be the only Yankee starter to earn a win this series.
Keep moving forward guys. You have been playing fantastic baseball. Keep winning.
Maybe last night portends the bats are getting hot.
The combination of just enough pitching and just enough hitting is a winning combination that is very elusive, but when it is there, just ride the wave, smile and be happy.
Thursday 5/10 7:05pm
CC Sabathia (L)
vs. Red Sox - Eduardo Rodriguez (L)
1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
7. Miguel Andujar (R) DH
8. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
9. Ronald Torreyes (R) 3B
Torreyes at 3B, Andujar DH. Sweep!
Lets earn another win. Go Yankees.
May the force of the Evil Empire be with you CC and the Yankee bats.
CC struggling like Tanaka did last night. Has given up 3 runs and sux still batting in 3rd.
Yankees down 3-0 after 4. Yanks load bases with one out and Austin stinks up the joint as he strikes out with the pitcher never throwing a ball over the plate.
Yanks down 2-0 after 4.
Rain delay in 5th inning.
Just about an hour delay. Holder in for Yankees and gets 1,2,3 in the 5th. sux keep their starter in after the delay and Yankees go down 1,2,3. Yanks trail 4-0.
Yankees score 4 in 7th to tie game. Then mental defective Betances comes in for the 8th and give up HR to first batter.
Yanks threaten but fail to score in 8th. Down 5-4 thru 8.
Final, Yanks lose 5-4.
The Yankee have lost 11 games this season and Betances has been largely responsible for 4 of them.
You can't and won't win them all. But we will win enough to go to the playoffs.
Just have to forget last nights dreadful loss to the despised sux and the continued poor pitching of Betances.
Tonight we host the Oakland A's and our unlucky bloom and grow youngster Dustin Fowler. Yankee pitching lineup will be Gray, German, and Louie Louie. Lets take another series. Wins are the goal, nothing else matters.
Even in losses we are playing decent baseball and we don't make the oppositions wins easy for them. In the long haul this will be good for the Yankees and will make the team better and that much harder to beat.
Gray faces his old team tonight. Give us a winning effort Gray.
Friday 5/11 7:05pm
Sonny Gray (R)
vs. Athletics - Kendall Graveman (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
6. Neil Walker (S) 1B
7. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
8. Austin Romine (R) C
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
Romine catching, Sanchez out. Win this series opener.
Hit 'em where they ain't. An old baseball expression. Lets go Yankees.
Don't get complacent guys. Don't take teams for granted. Play WIN METHOD baseball.
I really like when Romine starts a game. It gives Sanchez extra R&R, we get solid defense behind the plate, and a hitter that will take the ball where it is pitched pretty consistently.
Sonny Gray far to often known as Grayskies gives up two very long HRs and a double in the 2nd putting the Yankees in the hole 3-0.
Yanks down 3-0 after 2.
Gray has Yankees down 5-1 after four. Gray looks like he is throwing batting practice.
Judge 3 run HR in 5th gets Yankees back in the game. Down 5-4 after 5. Grayskies out of game gives Yankees a better chance now.
Yanks down 6-5 after 7, but Didi fails to get runner in from 3rd with less than 2 outs.
Robertson in for the 9th and has nothing allowing 3 runs for a 10-5 A's lead.
Final, second straight loss, 10-5. Not good, pitching horrendous starting immediately with Gray.
We had a big chance to turn game around in 7th but failed big time when it mattered.
Hope these last two games are a wakeup call.
Lets get even with German tomorrow. Yes we can.
Didi is in one heck of a slump. Killing a lot of rallies this past week.
Come on guys, don't let your progress slip slide away. Win today and this series and move forward.
Saturday 5/12 1:05pm
Domingo German (R)
vs. Athletics - Andrew Triggs (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) DH
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
7. Neil Walker (S) 1B
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
Show no mercy guys. Wins are all that matters.
Lets go Yankees. We are done losing for this week.
2-0 Yankee through two innings.
The wheels fall off German's wagon as he gets hammered and gives up five runs in the fourth.
Yankees score 4 in 5th and after 5 tie game 6-6.
6-6 after 6.
6-6 after 8. The bad, the Yankees have left runners in scoring position in the 6th, 7th, and 8th and have failed to produce when it mattered most.
Yankees and Chapman get out of bases loaded no out jam in ninth as Gardner throws runner out at home.
Extra innings 6-6.
Walker RBI single in 11th wins it for Yankees 7-6.
Final, Yankees win 7-6 in 11th on walk off single by Walker.
Louie Louie starts for Yanks tomorrow to try to win this series.
How about a relatively easy win today guys.
Rain headed into the NYC area. May affect game this afternoon to some degree.
Sunday 5/13 1:05pm
Luis Severino (R)
vs. Athletics - Brett Anderson (L)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
7. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
9. Ronald Torreyes (R) 2B
Only change Austin at 1B for Walker. And rain does look like it may delay start of game.
The start of today's game is indeed in a rain delay.
Guy Padikian....Torreyes is at second base for Torres.
Game is starting after @ 2 hour 45 minute delay. Lets go Yankees.
So far worth the wait. 3-0 Yankees thru one.
3-0 Yankees after 3.
Yanks lead 4-1 after 5. Louie Louie has been working hard throwing 90 pitches in only five innings.
Final, 6-2 win and another series in the bag.
1-10 5-5
11-20 6-4 = 11-9
21-30 9-1 = 20-10
31-40 8-2 = 28-12
A second consecutive great ten game set. On track for a 100 win season as WIN METHOD pointed out in his fantastic blog post.
Off day tomorrow than an 8 game road trip. Two in Washington, three in Kansas City, and three in Texas with the Rangers.
Stanton had a very good game today. Louie Louie was a bit off, but still six innings and only one run allowed. Not to shabby when you are off your top game.
Almost all of our injured are on the mend and it looks as if all will be fully recovered by the end of the month.
MLB in its infinite wisdom has scheduled two days off for the Yankees this week. Yet it has no problem scheduling 18 straight games a month earlier. Stay sharp guys. Wins are all that matter.
Tanaka and CC on tap for the National two game series.
28-12 is very impressive baseball. Keeping away from big losing spells will go a long way in making the playoffs.
Two games with the Nats and then another day off. Whatever, just win games, win series and keep moving forward.
It's an odd feeling. When your team is winning and going good an off day seems like an eternity.
O' Father eternal.
With no game today and re-reading through this blog, there have been no stat frauds for quite a while now. Haven't heard from stat fraud Steven and his inane comments.
Deb F, Steven is a rabble rouser. He likes to twist peoples opinions and looks at things only through his eyes. Also, do you remember the fraud Nancy?
Yankees open a two game series tonight against the Nationals in Washington DC. Tanaka is starting for the good guys and the team with the best W/L record in baseball. WINS are the only stat that counts and the only stat that determines the best teams and players.
We lost game one of the A's series this past weekend and came back to win the series. Lets try to take game one tonight of this two game series and then try for the series tomorrow.
Always good to win the first game of any series.
The Yankees have called up Clint Frazier. Either one of our outfielders is going on the DL or it is only for the two game series with the Nats and the inferior league designated hitter foolishness.
No DH in the inferior league makes for inferior baseball product which is what is played by nl teams.
Ex-Yankee Cano nailed for drug violation. To receive significant suspension.
No one placed on DL today. Frazier here probably to just be an extra bench piece because of the DH rule in the lesser nl.
Tuesday 5/15 7:05pm
Masahiro Tanaka (R)
@ Nationals - Gio Gonzalez (L)
1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
5. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
6. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
7. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
8. Masahiro Tanaka (R) P
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
Tanaka batting 8th. Frazier on bench. Didi only left bat in lineup.
Guys, think. If you get pitched outside ro to right. You get pitched inside, pull it. Lets go Yankees.
If Tanaka gives us a good game we have a good chance to win tonight. Also, it looks like rain may play a part tonight as storms look as if they are moving towards DC.
Yanks leave men on 2nd and 3rd in first inning.
2nd and 3rd no outs, Yankees leave them stranded. Not a good start to the night.
Tanaka getting hit hard and has Yankees down 3-0 after two.
Yanks down 3-2 after 4.
Rain delay mid sixth. 3-3 game.
Game is suspended and to be continued tomorrow before regularly scheduled game.
After allowing 3 runs in the first 2 innings Tanaka came back with 3 shutout innings and left after five with a no decision keeping his team in the game.
We will see how much baseball the Yanks and Nats get to play today. There is various amounts of rain for hundreds of miles in all directions surrounding DC.
The suspended game is scheduled for 5PM.
If our well rested bullpen can give us four shutout innings in the suspended game today we have a very good chance of winning.
All we can do is play and deal with the hand we are dealt. Lets win and keep moving forward and leave the whining, crying, and sniveling to the other guys.
Rain wise today, what will be will be. I wouldn't mind playing these games at a later date and maybe missing Scherzer. But that's just me.
If the games are played today, we can let everything hang out since we have another off day tomorrow.
The resumption of last nights suspended game and tonights regularly scheduled game have been canceled. The games have been rescheduled for June 18th at 5:00PM.
So from Monday thru tomorrow we will have played 5 1/2 innings of baseball in four days.
With all the off days I wonder if Boone will, or is he even thinking about tinkering with the starting rotation. With a .700 winning percentage there may not be any reason to make any kind of a change. Leave well enough alone?
Through it all this week the Yankees gained two games in the lost column on the sux and a possible third tonight. Sweeeeet.
On to Kansas City and a three game weekend series after an off day tomorrow.
CC listed to start Fridays game in KC.
Ho hum, another day without a Yankee game.
Boone is skipping German for the weekend. CC tomorrow, Louie Louie Saturday, and Grayskies Sunday.
Hope the team gets to dine on some of those great Kansas City steaks while there this weekend.
okiened, the steaks are fine, as long as the team remembers the season has just started and goal here in KC is to win the series.
Lets go Yankees. Just had to say it.
We do have a game scheduled for tonight. It's been a long time. Lets get a win.
Take control CC. Earn the win.
Game one in the win column tonight, yes we can, lets go Yankees.
Lets come back to playing baseball strong and win this series.
Friday 5/18 8:15pm
CC Sabathia (L)
@ Royals - Jakob Junis (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
7. Neil Walker (S) 1B
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
This appears to be Boones go to lineup against a right handed pitcher.
Would really like to win tonight's game. Keep winning and moving forward. No game for four days was a downer.
Lets go Yankees, you all know the drill, score early, CC pitch a solid game, then put up some add-on runs for a win.
Only wins and winning determine the best players and teams. If you want to be the best you have to win. To win you have to produce when it counts, offensively and defensively.
Yanks down 1-0 after 2.
Yankees trail 3-0 after 4 as defense has failed and given up all runs.
CC completes five innings and leaves trailing 4-0. Time to rally.
Yanks down 5-2 thru 7 as Robertson can't put up a shutout inning. Two more chances.
Yanks go down in 8th and 9th unceremoniously. Lose 5-2. Looked lackluster.
Final, Yanks lose 5-2. Now need to win the next two to take this series.
It sure looks like not playing does take you down a notch.
Tonight's game was an outstanding example of losing because you failed to produce offensively and defensively when it mattered while the other team took advantage of your failures to win the game. Games like this you must keep to a minimum or you will be doomed.
Louie Louie starts tonight as Yankees try to even series. Everytime you lose the first game of a series you are in a hole. Stay out of holes.
Yes we lost last night and did not expect to. I don't think any team should expect to lose.
This brings me to this WIN METHOD tenet. Every team plays 162 games.
Each season each team will win 35 games and each team will lose 35 games no matter how good or how bad the team is. The difference lies in the other 92 games and those games will determine where each team finishes their season.
Maybe it is just me, but I see too many guys swinging for the fences in too many at bats.
Louie Louie to get us even tonight. Lets go guys, lets get back to winning.
okiened, I noticed the ad sign behind home plate during last nights game advertising Kansas City steaks.
Frazier likely to get a start today from what Cone and Flaherty were saying last night.
Saturday 5/19 7:15pm
Luis Severino (R)
@ Royals - Danny Duffy (L)
1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
5. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
6. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
7. Clint Frazier (R) DH
8. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
Frazier is in lineup but only as DH. Entire lineup is right handed.
How telling is it about Frazier that he didn't get into an outfield position?
Lets go Yankees.
Yankees take 1-0 lead thru two.
5-2 Yankees thru 4.
Louie Louie getting hit pretty hard haven given up three runs over five innings, but Yanks lead 5-3.
Final. Yankees win 8-3.
Yanks with late inning add on runs rout Royals 8-3. Green, Betances, and Chapman shutout innings in 7th 8th and 9th.
Series even. Rubber game tomorrow with is it Sonny or Grayskies starting for Yanks.
