WIN METHOD --- MID SEASON 2019 --- GREAT NEWS TWO TIMES

We are halfway thru the 2019 baseball season and the YANKEES are in first place, playing great WIN METHOD baseball while overcoming countless injuries to so many vital players, some of which who haven't played an inning so far this season.  Players have stepped up with almost everyone producing when it counts most and winning games.  We all know wins and winning are the only stats that matter.   We here laud and praise winning players and teams while the stat frauds and talking heads laud losing players for what the losers accomplish for themselves.  Then to defend their adoration of the high stat losers, the frauds blame the players teammates.   As the YANKEES enter the second half of the 2019 season the team just needs to keep winning and keep playing WIN METHOD baseball.

YANKEE management is on the prowl for an acceptable starting pitcher to sign before the July 31st deadline.  There are only a couple WIN METHOD qualified pitchers available so many of the names being thrown around will not be a Yankee.  Hopefully things will work out and the Yankees will get what they want.  It takes two parties to make a deal, unless you are foolish and overpay and wind up not getting a decent deal.

The other great news is, this morning the YANKEES  have signed a sixteen year old named Jasson Dominguez from the Dominican Republic.   All I can say is WIN METHOD, WIN METHOD, WIN METHOD.  Jasson's father is a lifelong YANKEE fan.  The YANKEES had to pay a pretty penny for Jasson.  Somewhere around a five million dollar signing bonus because he was coveted by many other MLB teams.   Jasson reminds me of Mickey Mantle.  For you younger fans here, look up what Mickey Mantle did over his career to help lead the YANKEES to great success for many seasons.  I am very pleased with this signing and hoping Jasson blooms and grows achieving greatness in helping lead the YANKEES in future years.

Thank you WIN METHOD fans for your never ending support on this blog.   You all live in reality, and you all know baseball, and you all know wins and winning determines the best players and the best teams.  As the YANKEES play these final three months of the regular season, lets all root for and support our NY YANKEES.    LETS GO YANKEES.

The scoop on Luke and more. The Yankees have placed first baseman Luke Voit on the 10-day injured list due to a sports hernia. Right-handed pitcher David Hale (lumbar spine strain) was also placed on the injured list. The Yankees recalled right-handed pitcher Jonathan Holder and infielder Breyvic Valera. I think that makes 25 or 26 different Yankees that have been placed on the DL this season. Some, more than once.

William Mensom said...

You don't make a deal just to make a deal. Look at it using common sense. You want to buy a new car. You are open to 4 or 5 different brands. You know you want a small SUV. You know want you want on it as far as accessories. You go look at the brands, you compare MSRPs for what you want and are looking for. The cars are all very similar but 2 of the MSRPs are out of whack and just too high, even though there is likely negotiation. You get down to 2 brands, and now you get serious. You go to 2 or 3 dealers for each brand and start the dealing process. You get down to the bottom line each dealer is willing to sell the car you want for. That is each dealers bottom line price. 2 different brands, 3 dealers each, totaling 6 bottom line prices. All are more than you are willing to pay by whatever amount. You make an offer to each of the 6 dealers. You say this is what I will give you for the car. Your offer is the same for each dealer and you tell each one don't bother to call you unless they will take what you have offered. You will either get one to say yes or you walk away. Always be willing to walk away. Because the each dealer will walk away unless they get what they want, and you must walk away if you don't get the price and deal you want. You are what you need to care about.

That is what the Yankees did at the trading deadline. That is WIN METHOD.

Guy Padikian said...

William Mensom. again you are spot on. Putting your post directly into a baseball trade deadline context, the people complaining the most are the people who have no skin in the game. Any deal made, they hold no responsibility for, they have none of their money at risk, and they don't care if they get skinned in the deal. The people complaining are the stat frauds, the ignorant, and the fools who get taken every day.

Stanley Chin said...

Sucker: I want to buy this car, how much?

Salespro: The suggested price says $28,000. But that is only when we have a lot of these
models in stock. We have only one or two right now. I can sell this car to you
right now for $29,450, but you have to say yes right now. Take it or I sell it to
the next guy.

Sucker: Done, I'll take it.

Salespro: Great, I'll get the paperwork started and you can take the car home with you.
I'll be right back. (Walking away the salespro thinks to himself, another fool.)

Aceman said...

From what I have observed over the past couple of weeks is the Yankee pitchers for the most part aren't throwing strikes, are falling behind in counts, when they do get ahead are not putting the batter away, and when they make a great pitch, the hitter gets a bloop hit or an infield roller hit. Things will change.

he 2019 season in ten game segments.
Games:
01- 10 ...... 5 - 5
11- 20 ...... 5 - 5 = 10-10
21- 30 ...... 7 - 3 = 17-13
31- 40 ...... 7 - 3 = 24-16
41- 50 ...... 9 - 1 = 33-17
51- 60 ...... 5 - 5 = 38-22
61- 70 ...... 5 - 5 = 43-27
71- 80 ...... 9 - 1 = 52-28
81- 90 ...... 6 - 4 = 58-32
91-100 ...... 7 - 3 = 65-35
100-110...... 6 - 4 = 71-39

Another winning 10 game segment from the Yankees and the playoffs are looking better and better after each segment. The Yankees have no losing segments so far this season which is very good because only wins and winning will get a team into the playoffs. All this accomplished with injuries, many severe, to most of the players on the team. The depth of the minor league system and the next man in line, next man up philosophy combined with the never give up fortitude of the Yankee organization and each player is a feather in the cap of WIN METHOD and the WIN METHOD system. LETS GO YANKEES.

The future of the Yankee organization and team is very bright. It is a great time to be a Yankee fan and there are many seasons of greatness in store for this team. Wins and winning are what makes it all happen.

Urshela 2 home runs and Tauchman 1 home run. Green and Cessa close out last four innings giving the names in the bullpen another game off.

No hide nor hair from the stat frauds. They are embarrassed by the WIN METHOD and they have no game.

okiened said...

This game was over early tonight. Not having Sanchez in the middle of the lineup is like filling a black hole. There is more contact in the lineup now than in a long time. There's a lot of producing when it counts going on right now.

Happ starts tonight in the Quay Ho dream game. Get it done Yankees.

Teena/Bronx said...

Lets go Yankees, win one more for Quay Ho.

Ben Rosen/Israel said...

I wish the Yankees wouldn't call Sanchez back until he proves he can produce in AAA and catch full games. If he is called up and does not produce and play for the team to win we just get the black hole back. The team can still win but he would make it harder same as when afraud was playing.

Have to get back in the win column again. Shake it off, the umpires didn't help, but you can't do anything about that.

Final. Yankees lose 5-4. That's two in a row. Billygoat, Ottavino. Gives up 2 runs right after the Yankees come from 3-1 down to take a 4-3 lead. We need a win tomorrow to split the series.

What will Tanaka gives us today? We need a win.

Urshela and LeMahieu have been amazing so far. And you can throw in Tauchman also. No issue for any of them offensively and defensively. Plus LeMahieu can play any infield position and Tauchman can play any outfield position. Only Urshela has played only one spot, but I bet he could easily play first base.

One great game to watch on a Sunday afternoon. Sad that one team has to lose. Exciting as all get out.

will-i-am said...

Final. Yankees win 1-0. In one of the best games of the 2019 baseball season we had an old fashioned pitchers duel for nine innings with the game going down to the last pitch in an epic battle. Tanaka with one heck of brilliant "ace" type game going 8 innings of shut out ball. Then Chapman, the best closer in the game getting the final three outs against three of the best young players in baseball. The Yankees break their two game losing streak and leave Toronto with a split of the four game series.

Eddie OConnor said...

Fun game, made it better because we won.

Victor Grandozi said...

Head home for a four game series with the O's. Day/night doubleheader tomorrow, night game Tuesday and day game Wednesday. Chapman ain' pitching tomorrow, but everyone else is set to go.

okiened said...

It's all about wins. Nothing else counts. Wins are the only stat that determines which teams go to the playoffs and who the best of the best teams and players are.

Giambino said...

Only pitcher named for the O's series is Paxton tomorrow.
