WIN METHOD SUCCESS

In traveling the country and talking with baseball fans, the questions I get the most are 1.why the WIN METHOD and 2.what makes the WIN METHOD so successful? Most WIN METHOD fans know the answer to these questions already having been followers of the WIN METHOD for many years now. For the skeptics and new fans coming to this blog, I will speak to these questions here. Unfortunately many so many fans of baseball have been dumbed down as to why baseball is played and the desired results sought by most ownership. These dumbed down fans idolize individual statistics. They create and manufacture statistics which tell you little to nothing regarding a players ability to help his team win. In particular, defensive statistics that erroneously measure range of a fielder are totally worthless and are used only by the most ignorant fans of the game. Individual statistics for a hitter tell what a hitter is capable of doing. These stats can tell a hitters propensity for getting a hit, hitting a home run, driving in runs, scoring runs, etc. These individual statistics however, do not tell of the players ability to do what is needed to help his team WIN. A player can be the greatest individually while not being the greatest using the WIN METHOD. Baseball is the ultimate team game. A player scores a run because a team mate may knock him in, a hitter may get an RBI because a team mate got on base to be knocked in. Hitting for a high average is nice, but when you get a hit is usually far more important. Lets talk pitchers for a moment. There are two kinds of statistics for pitchers, those that are strictly individual to the pitcher and those that determine how the team fares. A pitchers job is to WIN or for a bullpen pitcher to hold and or save a game. As the pitchers earn these stats, they are directly related to what their team mates do on the field to allow them to get into the position of earning these individual stats. However, a caveat to a pitchers stat is that a pitchers stat can be directly related to the teams stats. The individual pitchers statistics that only deal with the pitcher himself in the big picture are then relatively meaningless. Wins, holds, and saves are the true measurement of a pitchers ability to help his team succeed. The more wins, holds, and saves the pitching staff earn, the more wins the team earns. And wins is why baseball is played. If you learn anything from the WIN METHOD, learn that wins is why baseball is played. Nothing else matters. Getting back to hitters. A hitter who hits .280 can be more valuable to his team than a .310 hitter on another team. A player with 85 RBIs can be more valuable to his team than a player on another team with 120 RBIs. How can this be? This can be because it is not the individual amassing of personal numbers that matter, it is when these numbers are achieved that matters....For example, a grand slam HR in the eight inning of a game your team is winning 11-2 is meaningless for the team and the end result of the game, but it really adds to the individual players personal stats. While a sacrifice fly in the eight inning to help your team win a one run game can be far more valuable to the team in that it helped the team win the game. I can go on forever, but hopefully you get the gist of the WIN METHOD. The WIN METHOD measures players on their ability to help their team win and solely on their ability to help their tam win. The best of the best players in todays game are the players who help their team to the most playoffs, pennants, and World Series rings.
If anyone has any questions, please post them in the comment section and any of the millions of brilliant WIN METHOD fans will be sure to answer.
Remember WIN METHOD fans, the goal 28 in 11.

I am elated I left the nyyforum when I did. The WIN METHOD is right and rules. The problem with the nyy posters is not one of them has the courage or the argument to come here and discuss baseball. They are whining losers over there.

Bert Jackson said...

The stat frauds must all be cowering in their rat holes. Go Yankees and long live the WIN METHOD.

WIN METHOD said...

Welcome AAA. Nice to see you have come out of the darkness, gloom, and mis-information of the stat frauds and into the clarity and light of the WIN METHOD.

David Stern said...

All we need is for AJ to hang in there and a couple of hits when they are needed and all will be fine.

Zhaire said...

Arod being sat today. the way he has been going this past week, it should be a good thing for the team. We get better defense with Chavez at third and a live bat in the lineup.

Virginia Beach Roofing said...

This is a very informative site. glad I stopped by.

Erica Johnston said...

Let the game begin and let AJ throw strikes.

Frank Sergi said...

We spot the Bluebirds a free run to start the game.

YankeeMike said...

Martin, Jeter, Granderson all produce when it counts to give Yanks 3-1 lead after two.

Saul L said...

Isn't it nice having Arod sitting out and the team knocking in runs with singles and building a lead.

Izzy Hernandez said...

5-4 Yanks after six complete. Good game.

RLA said...

Joba and Soriano hole thru 8. %-4 Yankees after 7 1/2. Mo in the 9th?

Kev Mac90 said...

Arodless small ball wins. AJ gets the win, Mo gets the save. Series rubber game tomorrow.

Linda Pardo said...

It was sure nice to have Chavez at third yesterday plugging the sieve that Arod creates. Nova today for the series win and the home stand win.
Do it Ivan.

Nick Polito said...

Jeters BA is slowly advancing. I wonder what the stat frauds will say when Jeters average is higher than Afrauds later this year.

AAA said...

That may be sooner than many people think Nick. Jeter is steadily advancing and Arod is steadily declining. The win today is what matters however.

Giambino said...

Bautista has been red hot. It will be interesting to see how Nova handles him. Get the win guys.

Mark Wogaman said...

Yes, the win, the only thing that counts. 28 in 11 with wins.

Phil Jenkins said...

After today we have a seven game road swing. Lets go on a good foot, win today.

William Mensom said...

A few back to back good games should do a lot to build Novas confidence. If these five starters can hang tough as they have, we can be in good shape for the year. The sux seem unable to get out of their own way. But that won't last forever.

greg o said...

What the doctors find with Hughes will mean a lot, one way or the other. Would be great to have an 18 game winner back and strong.

Sharon/NC said...

Six games over .500 for April. If we play six games over each month of the season we finish 99-63. That should be good enough for first place. Let the naysayers continue to whine.

johnsondc said...

Good observation Sharon. Now lets kick off May with a win from one of our home grown kids.

Steve said...

2-1 Jays after 3. Tex doesn't deliver when it counted in the third. DP roller with the bags full.

Steve said...

It looks like Nova is becoming a force to reckon with as he goes 6 1/3 innings of 2 run ball. Granderson delivers 3 run HR when it mattered and Yankes leading 5-2 after 7.

AAA said...

Jeter slowly but surely getting his BA nearer to Arods. Looks like a win today. 5-2 Yankees after 8.

Al Ashton said...

Mo coming in for the 9th to earn another save. With the win we win the series and the home stand.

Pete H said...

It's in the books. Ttthhheeeee Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnnnn.

Yankeeforever said...

There is an awful lot to like from todays game. Novas pitching, the bullpen pitching, Grandersons big hit. Just a good solid win.

bigbadwolf said...

The stat frauds are so enamored with their useless stats. How about your leadoff hitter going 0-3 in 4 plate appearances and reaching base 3 of the 4 times, scoring a run and no errors committed by the opposing team. Just another point of proof how meaningless individual stats are. The team won, that is the stat everyone plays for, or should play for.

AAA said...

I know I am new here, but this is the best baseball site I have ever come across. Almost no negative sniping post after post. Positive and upbeat insightful comments by people who know baseball and why players and teams win. Love it. I will never post in a baseball talk forum agian.

William Mensom said...

We know AAA. Glad you are here and enjoy baseball the way it is meant to be viewed and learned. Here you will see exactly why some players are great beyond their individual stats and some players play well below their individual stats. The object of the game, the team winning, is what too many fans can't accept or won't accept.

Jeff Miller said...

OK, now we have seven on the road. Four in Detroit and three in Texas. 4-3 I can accept, anything better is gravy. So lets win them all. 28 in 11.

Al Ashton said...

Colon against Verlander tomorrow. Could be a very good game.

Gus Papa said...

With no rain we should be able to throw Colon twice, CC twice and Garcia, AJ and Nova once each.

Qauy Ho said...

On the road again. 3 of 4 in Tigerland and 2 of 3 in Texas would be great. CC and Colon twice each should help our chances.

Benny Pake said...

Do not be surprised to see a real big week from Jeter. The signs are there for much more solid contact. Most important, winning each game is what really matters and the only thing that counts.

Sharon/NC said...

It would be great for Jeter to get hot as Arod is crashing and burning. 3 for 27.

Harry Stavris said...

One game at a time guys, one game at a time.

Teena/Bronx said...

We have lost the first game of the last couple series. Need to get off fast tonight.

Fred Slube said...

Winning the game is what we play for as a team. That is what makes us consistently one of the best every year, while others come and go.

johnsondc said...

We WIN METHOD fans are still waiting for the stat fraud ladies from nyy to talk WIN METHOD baseball. Unless you ladies don't have a leg to stand on and are gutless.

Stan the Man said...

I wouldn't hold my breath johnsondc. The girls only spew their garbage when they have a 20-1 advantage. They are losers, just like their individual stats. Go Yankees, 28 in 11.

Vinny Ferrero said...

Cano out of lineup with bruised palm. Jeter leads off game with single.

Steve said...

Yanks get two in first as Posada delivers a two out double with the bases loaded. Arod rails when it counts gain, popup with a runner on third and less than two outs. Colon to the mound.

Sean Smith said...

OK we got the win. But did it the hard way and without any luck. Colon out pitches Verlander going seven three run innings. Yankee bullpen out pitches Tiger pen with Joba getting the win and Mo another save. Final 5-3.

Lee Askew said...

Good start to the seven game road trip. Another excellent start for Colon. Jeter two more hits.

Gus Papa said...

Verlander threw his arm out as the Yankees made him work hard. Good way to ruin a top notch pitcher. Now not to waste this win, but win again tomorrow.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

A win a day is all that is needed, Just good solid steady WIN METHOD baseball carries the day.

Eddie OConnor said...

Colon did it again. Seven innings of solid pitching. these are the games that allow for that extra day off for the pen. Only Joba and Mariano were used last night.

YankeeMike said...

How much good news at one time. colon did great yesterday and we won. CC goes tonight. Hughes tests come back negative.

Linda Rice said...

Rivera only threw nine pitches, so he may be able to go again. I have a feeling we are do to rout a team and today could be the day.

AAA said...

And who pitches against CC tonight, none other than bad penny.

Yankeeforever said...

Two hits for Jeets last night, two more today?

Bert Jackson said...

Do it CC. Lead the way Derek.

Teena/Bronx said...

Another lead off hit for Jeter. a bullet to center.

Yankeeforever said...

CC not sharp, Penney was. Arod is crippling team in cleanup spot. Should be moved to 8th or 9th in lineup.

Giambino said...

I think we lost a game last night we didn't expect to lose. Another game that goes to prove that utter uselessness of stats. We just have to take these next two games.

Andy K said...

Well when you have a massive void in the cleanup position, it does tend to negate many opportunities.

johnsondc said...

It always, and I mean ALWAYS, comes back to what the WIN METHOD stands for. It is never how much or how many a player attains, it is always WHEN WHEN WHEN. When determines the best and who wins.

Eugene Rico said...

It's Garcia tonight. The bats need to start producing when it counts. we can't put pressure on our pitchers every game.

Frank Sergi said...

Are hitters are letting too many opportunities go by. A little more consistency is needed.

Vladimir Tinzik said...

With the Hughes situation, Jeter starting off slow, Arod crashing and burning again, etc, I don't think we have gotten into a good groove yet.

Tony G said...

Lets get a win tonight.

Stan the Man said...

Tigers with an early 1-0 lead.

Alex Antonius said...

I have yet to see a team win when it doesn't score at least one run. UGH!

Gus Papa said...

AJ has to be the stopper today.

Laura Koehler said...

I wonder what the idiot Jeter haters will say when Jeters BA surpasses Arods, who is in free fall.

RLA said...

If CC doesn't watch out, AJ may replace him as #1.

AAA said...

We really need this game. And that will only split the four games. Keep it going AJ. The bats need to wake up and Arod needs to get knocked down to the 8 or 9 spot. What a void he is creating in the cleanup spot.

Kenny Shepherd said...

AJ leads the way.

Cory said...

Yanks up 2-1 after 4. AJ has been great.

bigbadwolf said...

Nunez, playing shortstop for an injured Derek Jeter, and a favorite of the imbecile stat frauds who think Nunez plays better defense than Jeter makes two more errors and very likely will cost the Yankees todays game. Jeter, the best defensive shortstop in baseball, just has to play every inning he can at short for the Yankees.

David Stern said...

Burnett was fine. Three unearned runs killed him and the team..Nobody can replace Jeter at short. 1-3 for the series. Now need to sweep in Texas to win road trip.

Erica Nuyens said...

Chavez breaks bone in foot running out a triple. He's out. Nova again to be stopper tomorrow in Texas. With all this we are hanging in there. The WIN METHOD will see us through. Love ya, WIN METHOD.

Pete H said...

When, when, when. Yesterday we get 10 hits, score 3 runs and lose while the Tigers get 4 hits and score 6 runs. More proof of, it is always when you hit that matters, more than how many you get. Stop the losing streak tonight.

Erica Johnston said...

When you hear about 'the dumbing down of America', just go to the baseball talk forums and you will have proof positive. Thank God for this blog and some sanity.

AAA said...

You got it Erica. Stats and losing, then whining and blaming somebody, that is stat fraud, talk forum baseball. Been there, done that, no more.

WIN METHOD said...

That is why the talk forums normally try to ban fans who talk WIN METHOD winning baseball. The stat frauds logic is so corrupted they can't defend themselves, but for blatant lying and name calling. Stat frauds have always been welcome here, and there have been times when they have come, and usually they become WIN METHOD fans or return to their BS talk forums with their tail dragging between their legs.

Patricia Piper said...

OK guys, lets step up and start kicking some arse.

RLA said...

We are not in sync yet. Too many things happening. Let it wash out, stay close, and then turn on the engines. 28 in 11

Vinny Ferrero said...

When WIN METHOD speaks intelligent baseball people listen, while the stat frauds go play fantasy baseball and lose.

johnsondc said...

We have been trough it all with stat frauds. they just can't accept that baseball is played for the team to win. No matter what any individual contributes, it is never how many or how much, but always when they contirbute that determines the best teams and the best players.

YankeeMike said...

Nova pitches the best game of his career and has been spectacular. Jeter leads off game with base hit for fourth consecutive time and Granderson hits HR for very likely the game deciding runs. Jeter has been superior at shortstop making plays behind 2nd base and deep in the hole. Best defensive shortstop in baseball.

Kenny Shepherd said...

Final 4-1 Yankees. Nova great, Granderson great, Rivera another save, Jeter spectacular defense, a hit and a walk. 2-3 on road trip now. 2 to go.

Lou Lis said...

Good game. Nice effort from another home grown talent in Nova. Colon tomorrow night.

Frank Sergi said...

wonderful game by nova. 7 1/3 and could have been more.

Alex Antonius said...

Colon will have a tough act to follow after Nova tonight. 28 in 11.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Hooray for Nova. Girardi took him out at the perfect time. The Yankees sure know how to bring along their young studs.

Tom Louhglin said...

Former Yankee and now Dodger manager, Don Mattingly has names Derek Jeter as the greatest Yankee of all time. It looks like Mr. Mattingly knows his baseball.

Quay Hoy said...

Mattingly who never got to a World Series, I am sure knows that it takes a very special great player to help lead his team to as many World Series rings as Jeter has done.

Linda Rice said...

Man oh man, if Nova can keep throwing like he has, we will be in real good shape. Cliff who?

Bert Jackson said...

If Colon can earn us the win tonight we will even the road trip and have chance to take the trip with CC tomorrow.

Lee Askew said...

Still did not hit much last night but for Jeter and Granderson. But we won.

will-i-am said...

Wait till we start firing on all cylinders. The best is yet to come.

Andrew J said...

Maybe it just fell into place, but I like the way the rotation is set. Nova, Colon, CC, Garcia, AJ.

James M said...

Colon will give us another quality performance today. Lets go Yankees.

Benny Pake said...

Colon didn't have it. CC tosave the series today. Jeter two more solid hits and seems to have gotten on track. Arod another 0-fer.

Yankeeforever said...

CC to slam the door on Texas so as not to lose another series and come home on a positive note.

Victor Tinzik said...

We just haven't put it together yet. It will come and then wtxh out.

Izzy Hernandez said...

Sure colon was off, but he hung in there and kept us in the game with a quality start and earning a no decision. Logan lost it and the bats had nothing over the last three innings.

Warren Hammond said...

It looks like Jeets may be back on track. Didn't an earlier poster say he thought Jeets was turning it around and would start to hit on this road tip. Well, indeed he has. Lets go CC. The win.

Victor Gandozi said...

CC the stopper. Lets roll.

Phil P said...

It's CC time and another win. 28 in 11 is the goal and the prize.

Steve said...

Jeter opens game with another base hit. Arod fails again with a foul popup to the catcher.

Stan the Man said...

Jeter trying to light the Yankee fire with his second hot of the game, a run scoring single down the right field line. Arod gives away two runs with another error. 4-2 Rangers after three.

Steve said...

The captain trying to carry the Yankees on his back as he strokes his third hit of the game, a solo home run to the right center field Texas bullpen. 4-3 Rangers in the 5th.

johnsondc said...

Derek Jeter, the best player in baseball over the past 20 years has loaded the Yankees on his back and has hit another home run for his fourth hit of the day and has put the Yankees in front. Now for the bullpen to hold the lead. The stat frauds have bent over and are touching their ankles.

AAA said...

You go johnsondc, bury those stat fraud ignorami. Lets go Yankees.

Teena/Bronx said...

Jeter takes charge of Jeters team and helps lead them to a resounding victory and a series win. Hits when they mattered and outs when they were meaningless. WIN METHOD poster boy and greatest player in baseball.

Sharon/NC said...

When Jeets was interviewed by Kim Jones of YES after the game all he talked about was we and us and CC's battling and hanging in there. Nothing about his achievements even though he was pushed by Jones, but he repeated yet again, it makes no difference what he or any one person does, but that the team wins the game. All class and character, the truest of champions.

Linda Rice said...

Derek took charge yesterday and helped lead his team to the kind of they needed. I wonder how many mouths Derek shut up yesterday?

William Mensom said...

They will never shut up Linda. They are the losers in this world, playing fantasy games.

Erica Johnston said...

Well deserved day off. Great game yesterday, fighting back, led by the CAPTAIN.

Steve said...

Any time we call out sleezy stat frauds we can't find hide nor hair of the turds. They have no game.

Giambino said...

They have game...it's called fantasy. Here we play in the real world of success and failure. Nice having a day off.

AAA said...

The Jeter haters are licking their wounds.

Sharon,NC said...

We will find out quickly just how much of a spark Jeter has lit under his team. 16 games in 16 days. Lets be gutsy 14-2.

Saul Irving said...

You go girl. 14-2 it is.

Zhaire said...

Back to baseball today and back to winning.

Gary Long said...

Garcia tonight. Lets get the win and start a streak.

Claude Reeves said...

If Jeter stays hot, he can carry this team a long way. His defense has been more than spectacular as always.

Alex Antonius said...

We just take KC or any other team for granted. We have to go out there and win every games and play like a team with a goal of 28 in 11.

Victor Bruno said...

Throw your junk Freddie. Everybody hit. 28 in 11.

Laura Koehler said...

I like the optimism of 14-2. Heck, I would take 10-6 if push comes to shove. But i will root for 16-0.

Al Ashton said...

It would be nice if we could get some'laugher' games. Not all, but a few.

Sean Smith said...

Garcia gives us a very solid game and Jeter leads the way as he takes charge of his team. 3-1 Yanks after 7.

bigbadwolf said...

Robertson, Joba, Mo finish it off with an inning each and the Yankees win 3-1 led by Captain Derek Jeter. I guess Jeter is not done yet, right stat frauds.

Yankeeforever said...

That's one. Do it again. 28 in 11.

Gus Papa said...

Get it done again tonight. Get the win. Lead the way Derek, we are riding you all the way to 28 in 11.

Sean Smith said...

Would still like to see a couple of laughers.

Cory said...

AJ tonight. He will be a contrast from Garcia for the KC bats. Another win for AJ.

AAA said...

Still can't get any stat frauds to make fools of themselves here. They flock together in hiding.

Phil Jenkins said...

Keep the line moving AJ. Dominate.

Carl Hooks said...

Lets get ready to rumble.

Erica Johnston said...

Last night was as about as horrible loss as you can get.

Fred Slube said...

1 hit in 16 tries with runners in scoring position. a single by Posada in the 2nd. Bull hockey.

William Mensom said...

Last nights game. Last nights game may very well be used to define and illuminate the WIN METHOD. WHEN,
when, when.....one team delivered when and one team did not deliver when. The team that did not deliver when, dominated the game with individual stats, hits, BA, reaching base, etc. The losing teams starting pitcher gave up one hit over seven innings and the losing teams relief pitching over the next three innings only gave up one hit in each inning. The losing team amasses eleven hits and countless walks, consistently having men on base and scoring position. But alas, the losing team could not deliver WHEN it counted. The winning team amassed only four hits for the entire ten inning game, but got those four hits WHEN it counted and won. WHEN, when, when baseball fans, never how much or how many. Wake up and smell the coffee, stat fraud freaks.

bigbadwolf said...

You nailed it William. That is the entire game everyday. WHEN, not how much, but WHEN.

Victor Gandozi said...

It was a tough game for AJ to not earn the win, but that is not what the game is about. The object is for the team to win.

johnsondc said...

That is why individual stats are so meaningless. Baseball is the ultimate team game, where the optimum results are based on so many events by so many people. Offense, defense, it all determines the outcome. No individual or individual stats.

Warren Hammond said...

Nova tonight in rubber game of series. Last nights loss makes me sick. I despise losing games like that.

Sharon/NC said...

We have to forget last night and win tonight. Set em down Ivan.

WIN METHOD said...

WIN METHOD fans. Do to Google being out of service, several posts were lost from yesterday and then for approximately 20 hours, no postings could be made. I have been told, things at Google are back to normal again. Maybe it was a sign from above, but with last nights game, maybe the posts should have been lost.

Giambino said...

When I tried to post, a sign came up saying Google blogger was down and they were working on the problem.. Right WIN METHOD, we should forget about yesterday. We start a three game set with the sux today.

David Stern said...

another thing we missed last night was Arod and his meaningless individual stats. Arod did it again. A solo HR in the 8th inning of a game his team was losing 11-4. Atta boy Arod, hit them WHEN they don't matter. Lets see what he does against the bosux this weekend.

YankeeMike said...

With Colon the competitor he is, lets see how amped up he gets for tonights game and the bosux. We need to take this series and keep the sux reeling.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Sad to say, but we are not truly playing real WIN METHOD baseball. watch out when we do.

Steve said...

I have been getting the impression that too many players are pulling in different directions. And I believe that still has a lot to do with Arod. With all his ability, I still think he is a detriment to any team and a corruption to his team mates.

Cory said...

So many talk of wated money in player contracts. The waste in 32mil a year is astronomical for the value you get. Lets win tonight. 28 in 11.

RLA said...

I almost died when I couldn't post yesterday. Lets get it done this weekend.

Bert Jackson said...

Show the the way Derek. Lead us to the promised land, one more time. 28 in 11.

Lou Lis said...

Colon does his job again, then Joba blow it all in the 7th.

Warren Hammond said...

Sad result again. We just aren't delivering WHEN it counts. Joba needs to hang his head.

William Mensom said...

CC has to win just to get us even. Our starters are doing very well. Our situational (WHEN) hitting has been awful, and the bullpen has failed more times than it should. Time for a closed door team meeting to set some heads straight.

Stan the Man said...

Fans, remember the season is a long road. Steady as she goes. Replace, repair, and patch the problem areas and continue the trek to 28 in 11.

Teena/Bronx said...

I'm going to tonight game. Come on CC.

Eddie OConnor said...

One game at a time, one game at a time. Concentrate and play for the team to win.

johnsondc said...

To the best of my recollection I have been banned in 17 stat fraud forums. A badge of honor, I wear proudly.

Steve said...

I think you got me beat johnsondc. But I've been hung up on twice by radio/tv personality Mike Francesca.

Linda Rice said...

CC to step really big tonight. He tends to shine when really needed.

Bob Behan said...

A win, my kingdom for a win.

WIN METHOD said...

Just so everyone knows. Many many WIN METHOD devotees have been banned countless times by stat fraud talk forums. Only because the stat frauds can not handle nor deal with the truth and facts. Never, and I repeat, never has any poster been banned from posting on this sight. Each and every post is allowed to be posted unless it uses foul language.

Sharon/NC said...

Lets go Yankees. Dominate CC. Start hitting guys when it matters. Wake up Arod.

bigbadwolf said...

Girardi shaking up the lineup tonight. Posada batting in the nine spot. He needs to get Arod out of the cleanup spot and down to 7 or 8.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Arod our cleanup hitter. first inning two on and pops out foul to first. Third inning two on and strikes out. cleaning up? maybe for the other team.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Arod leads off the 6th inning. At least there was no one on base that he would leave there. He struck out anyway, just to be sure.

Patricia Piper said...

Thank heaven it's a long season. We are playing as bad as we can. Something we set us off, and then we will go on a run to the top and the pennant.

WIN METHOD said...

I am glad to see all here letting the Posada situation go. It is a very personal situation that affects his family, team, and team mates. No second guessing fans, let it be, let Georgy and those involved sort it out.

Look at the bright side of the season so far. How many of you would have been glad to be in second place, just two games from the top and also two games in front of the bosux at this point in the season. Look forward WIN METHOD fans.

Stan the Man said...

Amen WIN METHOD. The Yankees are just going to have regroup and reset their priorities.

Bill A said...

The glass continues to be half full. Go Freddie.

Erica Nuyens said...

Thanks WIN METHOD. You are the best and that's why this blog is the best. Love ya.

Gus Papa said...

Take it slow, do not panic. We will prevail.

Fred Slube said...

If we can get a win tonight, that would help a lot. A finger in the dam hole so to speak.

Yankeeforever said...

A Yankee player asks to be taken out of the lineup for a game and the press and forum stat freaks try to turn it into a circus. Jerks.

A win tonight would sure raise the spirit of many. Go Yankees. 28 in 11.

Zhaire said...

With almost no one hitting, we are right there solidly in the pennant race. Wait until be kick it into high gear.

Maybe the Posada issue will wake up some slumbering giants.

Warren Hammond said...

Lets do it guys. Lets win and move to within one game of first place.

bigbadwolf said...

Fortuneately annonymous, the broom sweeps both ways. We are playing as bad as we can and are still just two games behind. The future is in front of us, just try to get sucked along as long as you can.
