WIN METHOD YANKEE BASEBALL SEASON 2020 shortened

Finally, it looks like we will have some semblance of a Major League Baseball season in 2020.  Baseball for 2020 was halted by a Chinese oriented deadly virus that is traveling the world and killing massive amounts of innocent people.  In March baseball was shut down as was most of America.  As most of America regains its footing and is starting to recover, so is baseball.

The MLB owners and the MLBPA (players association) yesterday have agreed to play a partial 2020 season commencing around July 23-24.   A second spring training will open July 1st, and each team will get in shape in their own home ballparks all across the nation.  There is tentatively a 60 game season that will be played.  There is always a probability what I post here may be amended by the owners, players, and baseball commissioner.  Each division will play 40 games in their own division.  That would make for 40 games, 10 with each rival in their division.  Each team would also play 4 games against each team in their opposite division for 20 games making for the total of a 60 game season.  The divisions will play each other geographically limiting travel.  East vs east, central vs central, and west vs west.  The regular season will end the last week of September.  As of now each division winner and two wild cards in each league will make the playoffs.  That is the same as the 162 game season.  The inferior AAAA national league will use the designated hitter for their games for the first time in baseball history.  The American League has used the designated hitter since April 6, 1973 when Ron Blomberg of the New York Yankees became the league's first ever designated hitter.  Also extra inning games will be started with a runner on second base which makes a mockery of the game and is a sham that demeans the game of baseball.  Not all changes are bad, however this change is bad.

The playoffs will conclude the season as usual hopefully ending in October.  In the end as it always has and hopefully always will the best players and best teams will reach the playoffs and then advance to the final series, the world's greatest sports event the WORLD SERIES.

The season without question will be shorter and different.  Look at it this way, every one of the sixty games becomes far more important and losing streaks will eliminate teams fast, while a big winning streak can carry a team right into the playoffs.  The players will need to get their heads fully into the season from the first game on.   The fun part is the WIN METHOD becomes even more important.  The players who produce when it matters most and do it the most often will lead their team through the season and into the playoffs.   Hopefully all goes well healthwise and the season can be completed.

No matter what, happens and as always, LETS GO YANKEES!

PS....thank you all, WIN METHOD fans from all over the world for your unwavering support, your comments, and for being the most intelligent baseball fans in the world.   The ignorance of the stat frauds  doesn't exist here.  They have no game.  They are  losers who love losing players.

I have to believe the Yankees feel reasonably sure the pitching staff will come around, with either of the recovering veterans and either of the young arms filling the spots to an above and beyond season. Lets go Yankees.

Frozen wind mills, and snow covered solar panels are killing people right now in America. President Trump left office allowing for America to be a self independent energy nation. Number one in the world as an energy independent nation. Don't need no bird killing wind mills when there is wind and they are spinning. Don't need no solar panels when the sun doesn't shine for a week. The ignorant and corrupt joe-bama/commie administration has curtailed America's energy independence. In just three weeks, American consumer prices have sky rocketed for fuel for their cars, and fuel for their homes. Biggest issue is Americans are dying because of what this administration is doing. America is going down and the trend must be stopped.

If everything comes together for the Yankees this season, it will be fun to see how good they can be. The one thing I keep coming back to is having the meatball catching. I hope I'm wrong and he contributes big time, I just doubt it very much.

I am going to post this here now because I think Rush would get a laugh at these truths in hypocrisy from the demented democrats.....

1.-Prayers are good when coming from a democrat, but should be met with derision when
coming from a republican.

2.-Declaring a state of emergency and mobilizing the national guard is to be admired when
performed by a democrat, but frowned upon and denigrated when coming from a republican.

3.-Going on vacation during a crisis is fine when done by a democrat, but dereliction of
duty when done by a Republican.

4.-A vote along party lines is doing the right when done by the democrats, but partisan
politics when done by the republicans.

I can hear you laughing Rush.

My opinion of what is a big reason for the American decline besides the democrats. Social media is the problem. I really could not care less what people write on their social media profiles. The education system is just as much as fault for the decline in America. The kids are being programmed to think one way by the liberal run institutions and districts. Mickey Littlebear, likely more than we will ever know. Rush was a great man, proven by the fact so many on the sick demented left hated him. It has always been a very good way to judge people. As someone how they feel/felt about someone you thought was wonderful of great and if the person you ask feels much differently, then it is likely best you don't want to have anything to do with them.

NJYANKEE said...

This from Gary MEATBALL Sanchez. We can only hope it is true. My personal opinion, I do not believe Gary has the wherewithal to accomplish the\/ \/ \/ below.

When the Yankees informed Gary Sánchez that he would sit in favor of Kyle Higashioka late last year, the catcher replied that the only way for him to escape his season-long slump would be to keep swinging.

So once the postseason ended, that is exactly what Sánchez did in Tampa FL. With hitting coaches Marcus Thames and P.J. Pilittere, as well as in the Dominican Winter League. As a result, Sánchez has made a few mechanical tweaks that he believes will restore his swing to its full potential.

“It’s a little early right now to really give you a true answer, but I definitely feel good with the adjustments I’ve made,” Sánchez said through an interpreter. “I think they’re going to be key. They’re going to make a difference. I feel great and I definitely think this year is going to be different.”

Sánchez said that the coaches stressed keeping his weight back, placing more pressure on his right leg to let the pitch travel further, then striking the ball with a compact swing. The batting-practice homers littering a grassy area beyond the left-field wall of a practice field suggest that Sánchez is applying those suggestions well.

Tony Gigante said...

NJYANKEE, I can only root for Sanchez to succeed. I'll believe it when I see it.

Tom Kelly said...

Sanchez could be a difference maker. Could be is the maybe.

Deb F said...

For all you great America first patriots out there, Rush Limbaugh's wife Kathryn will be doing his show at noon tomorrow. Tune in.

Steve(winstheonlystat) said...

I don't see how Sanchez can't improve. There is no way he can do worse than what has done recently and still be on any major league team. Contributing to the team winning is more important than individual stats. This something every player and every stat fraud should learn. Just look at the stat fraud poster boy Mike Trout and you will see all you need to know about individual stats and not helping your team win.

Cal Thomas said...

The Rush Limbaugh I knew.

The man who picked me up at an airport too many years ago to recall the date asked if I had ever heard of a guy named Rush Limbaugh. When I said I had not, he turned on the car radio and said, “listen.” After 15 minutes I was hooked.

Limbaugh, who died of lung cancer on Wednesday at age 70, spoke my values. He didn’t tell people what or how to think, as his detractors often charged, but reflected what many conservative Americans already believed. He often used humor and satire to drive home his points and he was so good at it that he attracted a huge audience. More than 600 radio stations carried his three-hour program.

He was loved by millions who had never met him. When I finally met him, I was surprised at his humility. Don’t laugh. He was an entertainer, as well as a commentator, and he understood that to hold the attention of an audience one must do both. In person he was not who you heard on the radio.

Several years ago, Rush invited me to dine at his Florida home. He sheepishly asked if I drank wine, perhaps thinking because I am perceived as “religious” I might not. I responded, “I know someone who turned water into wine so, yes, I’ll have a glass.” He laughed and we were off and running as friends.

I once introduced Rush at a function in Washington. I said, “Larry King is credited with saving AM radio, but Rush Limbaugh made it worth listening to again.

As his wife Kathryn noted in her on-air announcement of his passing, Rush was a generous man. He raised millions of dollars for wounded soldiers, their widows and police officers who died while doing their duty. He often held radio-thons for leukemia research and donated unknown amounts of money to other causes.

At his wedding to Kathryn in 2010, he built up suspense by hinting, but never saying, who the special entertainment would be. After the ceremony, the invited guests walked to the hotel theater. A curtain emblazoned with question marks surrounded the stage. Rush announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, Elton John.”

In the middle of a 45-minute set of his greatest hits, John stopped and said his liberal friends asked him why he would play for Limbaugh, whom many of them hated (though probably few listened to him, as was usually the case). He said something about the importance of friendships and invited Rush and Kathryn to London to visit he and his partner. I don’t think that happened, but it was a kind gesture.

Until the end he expressed a positive and optimistic spirit. In recent weeks he did something I had not heard him do before. He spoke about his faith and mentioned that it was in Jesus Christ. Not only did it thrill fellow believers like me, but it brought a torrent of calls and messages to his show from people he had never met who said they were praying for him. On air he was clearly touched.

I never heard him complain about his illness. He always spoke of being blessed beyond any dream of success he might have foreseen.

Life, and his radio slot will go on. Such things always do. But no one has the talent Rush had, no one.

His loss is a loss to the conservative movement and to the country, but his ideas will continue, because as he liked to joke about himself, he was always “99.9% right.”

On his website is posted a tribute that includes these words: “The Greatest of All Time.” With apologies to Muhammad Ali, that is an accurate epitaph. Rest in peace, dear friend.
