Yes WIN METHOD fans, you have spoken, therefore the title of this blog post. BLOOM AND GROW. As 2016 nears its end, and the baseball winter meetings are held where deals are talked about and some consummated, and as the 2016 year concludes with the Christmas holidays, and the new 2017 year arrives and it will be a season for the New York YANKEES to BLOOM AND GROW.
After a couple of recent seasons of not making the playoffs, getting older as a team, disappointing the fans, dropping attendance, and overall down years, the YANKEES look like they may be going full bore at getting younger with many of their WIN METHOD selected youngsters being given a real chance to make the major league roster, make the team younger, make the team a contender more consistently and winning the World Series again. Time for the farm to bloom and grow.
The list of YANKEE prospects is very promising. Likely not all will make the major leagues, some may be traded away for a piece the YANKEE decision makers feel they need for a certain position. The best part however is they will all get the chance to bloom and grow and some will make a major impact on the YANKEE team this 2017 season as Gary Sanchez has done already in the last seven weeks of the 2016 season, apparently earning the starting catcher job for the 2017 season. Look for these names in 2017 and beyond, outfielders Clint Frazier, Aaron Judge, Blake Rutherford, Dustin Fowler, Billy McKinney, Mason Williams, Jake Cave, Trey Amburgery, and Leonardo Molina. Infielders Gleyber Torres, Jorge Mateo, Miguel Andujar, Wilkerman Garcia, Tyler Wade, Hoy Jun Park, and Kyle Holder. Catchers Luis Torrens, and Donny Sands. Pitchers Justus Sheffield, Domingo Acevedo, James Kaprielian, Albert Abreu, Dillon Tate, Chance Adams, Ian Clarkin, Drew Finley, Jordan Montgomery, Chad Green, Dietrich Enns, and Freicer Perez.
Do not forget, Greg Bird returning in 2017 after missing 2016 with major shoulder surgery, other youngsters who have been placed on the 40 man roster or have seen some major league experience, Johnny Barbato, Richard Bleier, Giovanny Gallegos, Domingo German, Nick Goody, Ben Heller, Ronald Herrera, Johnaton Holder, Brian Mitchell, Yefrey Ramirez, Luis Severino, Kyle Higashioka, Rob Refsnyder and Tyler Austin. There are so many with so much potential.
Some of these guys will become big names, some lesser names but yet accomplished major leaguers, some roll players that help make the team as best it can be,and some dealt away. Bloom and grow. We wish them all healthy and fruitful careers wherever their career takes them.
Also, look forward to a very special day in 2017. Mark your calendars, Sunday, mothers day, May 14th against the Houston Astros, the YANKEES will retire the greatest ever WIN METHOD players number 2 Derek Jeter. May the YANKEES be so blesses that as the youngsters bloom and grow we have another in the mold of Derek Jeter, the best and greatest major league baseball player in the past three decades.
Never forget that wins and winning always defines the best players and teams in the real world while individual stats and make believe made up formulas created by the foolish stat frauds are only for their fantasy games and fantasy world.
LETS GO YANKEES! BLOOM AND GROW

«Oldest ‹Older 1201 – 1400 of 1611 Newer› Newest»Every team has clunker games once in awhile. Rather lose 13-1 than 3-2.
Within a week we should start to see a thinning of the heard and things will start to come together so to speak.
Sabathia with first spring start tomorrow.
Lets see how Yankees rebound after yesterday drubbing.
Tuesday 3/7 1:05pm
CC Sabathia (L)
vs. Rays - Jake Odorizzi (R)
1. Ronald Torreyes (R) 2B
2. Gary Sanchez (R) C
3. Matt Holliday (R) DH
4. Chris Carter (R) 1B
5. Aaron Judge (R) RF
6. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
7. Clint Frazier (R) LF
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
9. Dustin Fowler (L) CF
Today is the most extreme, but it looks like Girardi wants to get a good look at his hitters hitting against same side pitchers. Eight right handed batters starting against a right handed pitcher. On season you would likely see at least five or more hitters able to hit from the left side against todays starting pitcher.
Sabathia with two scoreless innings.
Warren goes three innings giving up 2 solo home runs.
Heller throws one struggling inning allowing one run.
Higashioka hits 2 run HR in 7th putting Yankees up 4-3.
Germain with a scoreless inning.
Shreve in for an inning and surrenders solo HR.
Gurka one scoreless inning and Lail one inning allowing 2 runs.
Yankees with 3 in 10th inning win 7-6.
One heck of a wild game today.
So many different youngsters contributed to todays win, it is great we have that much capable talent.
I just love the WIN METHOD attitude that permeates thru the Yankee system.
First real game is just over 3 1/2 weeks away.
The Yankees do not have a scheduled game for tomorrow.
We don't play any MLB team today but do have an exhibition game with Canada. Severino to start.
Louie Louie gives up 2 run HR to Canadian team in first inning.
Holliday with 2 run HR in bottom of first.
Sanchez with a solo HR.
Hicks with a 2 run HR.
Graham with a 1,2,3 inning and 2 Ks. Chapman with a 1,2,3 inning and 3 Ks.
Barbato throws a 3 up 3 down inning and 2 K's.
Enns goes 1,2,3 inning.
Exhibition against Canada team...9-3 Yanks after 7.
Enns throws a 2nd inning and allows solo home run.
Higashioka with a solo HR in eighth.
Holder closes out win with a 1,2,3 9th. 10-4 final.
The Yankees used six pitchers today and the one who had the worst line was Severino.
Pineda makes his second outing tomorrow.
Likely looking for three innings from Big Mike tomorrow.
Pineda having the season of a career would be a big boost for us.
As of right now who will be our 4 and 5 starters after Tanaka, Pineda, and CC? No one has positively earned a spot yet in my opinion.
I hope it will be Mitchell and Severino. Severino has been struggling so far and he scares me a bit. Right now I have more faith in Mitchell, I like his attitude, real WIN METHOD.
James Gould, Cessa and Green have experience and either of them may be used before Mitchell.
Then there is the possibility of a very strong if not the strongest bullpen in baseball with six or more shut down type arms.
I can see a scenario throughout this season where the Yankees use up to 10 different starting pitchers.
Cessa and Severino.
I'll go out on a limb and pick Warren and Mithchell. Make Severino another shutdown reliever.
Warren is more steady as a starter in my view.
Thursday 3/9 1:05pm
Michael Pineda (R)
@ Braves - Aaron Blair (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
2. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) DH
3. Aaron Judge (R) RF
4. Chris Carter (R) 1B
5. Aaron Hicks (S) LF
6. Austin Romine (R) C
7. Ronald Torreyes (R) 3B
8. Tyler Wade (L) 2B
9. Ruben Tejada (R) SS
Benny Pake, It is to early to give up on Severino as a starter.
Green and Cessa. I also think there will be many starters in the 4 and 5 spots. When you are that deep it is very feasible.
Gardner with a lead off HR.
Pineda goes three innings and gives up 2 first inning runs.
I think it may be Cessa and an assortment of several in the final spot depending on performance and need at any given time.
Heller 1 2/3 inning scoreless ball.
Shreve goes 1 1/3 innings and allows 3 run HR. Yanks lead 7-5 after 6.
Mantiply with two scoreless innings.
Gurka works the final inning and surrenders 2 run homer. Yanks hang on for 8-7 win.
My impressions of spring training are that several players have hurt themselves and several have helped themselves with their individual performances.
Luis Cessa starts today against the Phillies. Cessa is looking for a rotation spot.
Yankeeforever, the guys that hurt themselves, particularly the young ones just go back to the minors and reprove the abilities. Any player could just be having a cold streak and others a hot streak, therefor what happens this month is not career defining to player. The roster only hold 25 spots with almost half pitchers. Many really good players and future major leaguers will be going to the minors. Their chance will come. The cream rises to the top likely 99.9% of the time.
If I am not mistaken I think this is actually the first time Cessa is starting a game this spring. He has been in a couple of games however. Likely looking for three good innings.
I think Girardi will settle on two of Cessa, Mitchell, Severino, Green.
Great news. The Yankees made Frazier cut his curly red hair. He looked like my daughter. Now maybe he will concentrate on baseball and his performance when it counts.
I don't mind long hair on players, AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT ON THE YANKEES, there is something to say for tradition and rules that I like. Let the other teams look like garbage.
Friday 3/10 1:05pm
Chad Green (R)
@ Phillies - Clay Buchholz (R)
1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
2. Gary Sanchez (R) C
3. Greg Bird (L) 1B
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Chase Headley (S) 3B
6. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
7. Aaron Judge (R) RF
8. Clint Frazier (R) LF
9. Tyler Wade (L) SS
Another new and different lineup from Joe, and it doesn't make any difference as to quality.
Frazier looked like the red haired ventriloquist and his dummy on some commercial that is on TV.
How about todays outfield, left to right, Frazier, Hicks, Judge.
Green starting instead of Cessa.
First Philly batter flies out to Frazier in left. Frazier looks a 100 times better without the garbage flowing locks. Now he can be a Yankee.
Headley 3 run HR.
Green went two innings and struggled but did not allow a run leaving five men on base.
Judge HR in fifth.
Holder, Adams, and Niese with scoreless 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings.
Sheffield as did Green works two scoreless innings and leaving five runners on base.
Marsh throws final two scoreless innings. Yankees win again. Phillies leave 17 men on base as the Yankee pitchers were on a walking frenzy.
I've pretty much watched most innings played this spring. Here is my 2018 on field team...
LF...Frazier
CF...Fowler
RF...Judge
3B...Mateo
SS...Gregorius
2B...Torres
1B...Bird
C....Sanchez
Spares....Higashioka, Wade, McKinney, Holiday, Tejada
Steve, what's up with the old guy on your list? LOL
That group if stays healthy could mean a decade of playoffs and a couple of World Championships.
jimbo, I thought the kids could use a mentor, someone to look up to, and a go between between management. I reread my post and love that group even more. And even better there are still pieces in the minors to replace and or repair down the road.
Kicker, trade off all the older guys for draft picks only.
Interesting team, now to figure the batting order.
We could have 3 starters in 2018 who are in the minors now.
Tanaka starts tomorrow.
Steve, your team has speed, power, defense. I like it. Bookmark this and see what happens on opening day 2018.
To make Steves team players will have to earn their pinstripes. There may be an alteration or two.
For sure this spring there is a lot of good talent in this organization.
Yankeeforever, I love your thought about a decade of wins and winning.
Saturday 3/11 1:05pm
Masahiro Tanaka (R)
vs. Tigers - Daniel Norris (L)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Greg Bird (L) 1B
6. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
7. Chase Headley (S) 3B
8. Aaron Judge (R) RF
9. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
This may be very close to opening day lineup but for Didi.
Sanchez first inning 2 run home run.
Tanaka goes 4 perfect innings. 12 up 12 down. 7 strike outs.
Holiday bangs 3 run HR in 5th.
Torres with a solo HR in 6th.
Mitchell follows Tanakas four innings with four innings allowing one chintzy run, but still a run.
Graham with a 1,2,3 9th. Final 7-1 win.
This team will be a major contender this season. We have the parts and more parts if one or two falter.
I think Mitchell is close to securing a rotation spot or at minimum a pitcher on the roster.
CC starts this afternoon against the Braves.
If Gleyber Torres can increase his fielding skills and range could he follow in the footsteps of Derek Jeter, the best MLB over his two decades of play?
Jill Byrnes, how great would that be. I'll live with those WS rings and all those playoffs.
Sunday 3/12 1:05pm
CC Sabathia (L)
vs. Braves - Jaime Garcia (L)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
3. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
4. Chris Carter (R) 1B
5. Greg Bird (L) DH
6. Austin Romine (R) C
7. Aaron Hicks (S) RF
8. Ronald Torreyes (R) 3B
9. Jorge Mateo (R) SS
Jill, that would be fine with me.
A player following in the footsteps of Jeter is a rare find and wouldn't be great if the Yankees are the benefactors of the find. If Torres has Jeters ability, character, and personality that will go a long way.
Sabathia implodes. Faces 10 batters, gives up 6 hits, a walk, and six runs, then relieved by Heller who gets the final out of the inning stranding two CC runners. Not at all good, not at all.
CC today had the worst outing of ANY Yankee pitcher so far this spring. Would like to hear what CC has to say.
After CC's debacle, Heller, Chapman, Shreve all with solid shutout innings.
Camerena allows 1 run over 2 innings and Germain throws a scoreless inning.
Romine and Mateo with solo HRs.
Germain throws a 2nd scoreless inning. Ramirez surrenders 3 runs in the 9th. Final 10-2 loss.
CC's take on his outing. Something you would expect from a veteran who has been thru it all.
""""""""After an afternoon like this, Sabathia says the biggest lesson is to simply move on.
"Yeah, you can forget about this. It's Spring Training. Obviously take it as a learning experience and be ready to go next time out."""""""""
I tend to give veteran pitchers a pass on a bad outing in spring training.
Louie Louie starts tomorrow against Tampa.
Louie Louie needs to get four innings in my opinion.
20 days until Yankees opening day game in Tampa.
Walt Bellamy, Today is an off day. Severino will start tomorrow. You are a day early.
Quiet day in Yankeeville.
bigbadwolf, yes, I erred.
Just think, real baseball will be here and alive very soon, and then the fun begins.
Tuesday 3/14 1:05pm
Luis Severino (R)
@ Rays - Jake Odorizzi (R)
1. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
2. Gary Sanchez (R) C
3. Greg Bird (L) 1B
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Chase Headley (S) 3B
6. Aaron Judge (R) RF
7. Clint Frazier (R) LF
8. Mason Williams (L) CF
9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
What a lineup.
Todays lineup has many pieces of Steves 2018 lineup.
Would be a fun game to watch today, but nowhere televised.
Sanchez solo home run in first.
Louie Louie with a 1,2,3 first.
Frazier single, Torres double = rbi, Torreyes single = rbi.
Louie Louie allows solo home run in 2nd. 3-1 Yanks after two.
Torres with a yet another error today.
Louie Louie with a 1,2,3 third inning.
Barbato comes in in 5th and implodes almost as bad as CC did the other day. You can't win a job like pitching like today when you have no past credentials.
Torres 2 run HR in 6th.
Enns throws a rotten effort into the mix also today. 3 runs in the 6th.
Finally getting some losses. Losses are a good thing at times. A training tool for the youngsters when used right to illustrate what the WIN METHOD is about and why wins and winning determines the best.
Enns and Barbato back to the minors for more development? But at least they got a taste of what they need to do to make it to the top.
We face the Phillies tomorrow with Pineda starting.
Four innings from Big Mike today?
It looks like things and players are starting to shake out.
The Yankee game today is at 6:30pm.
Wednesday 3/15 6:35pm
Michael Pineda (R)
vs. Phillies - Clay Buchholz (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
6. Chris Carter (R) 1B
7. Chase Headley (S) 3B
8. Aaron Hicks (S) RF
9. Tyler Wade (L) SS
Bird solo HR in 2nd.
Pineda with four perfect innings. 12 up 12 down and 6 Ks.
Pineda with a 5th perfect inning and 2 more Ks.
Wow! What an effort from Pineda, hope it's not just a flash.
In seventh inning catcher Austin Romine removed from game with right hand injury suffered while catching. Hope it is not bad to keep him out too long.
Green goes final three innings allowing 1 run and 1 hit. Final 3-1 win.
Pitching line for Yankees. Pineda 5 innings Chapman 1 inning Green 3 innings. Total 1 run 1 hit 1 walk and 13 Ks.
Pineda was in total control tonight and looked fantastic. Fingers are crossed.
X-ray on Romines throwing hand comes back negative. Great news.

Cessa this afternoon against Toronto.
Thursday 3/16 1:07pm
Luis Cessa (R)
@ Blue Jays - Aaron Sanchez (R)
1. Aaron Hicks (S) LF
2. Ronald Torreyes (R) 3B
3. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
4. Chris Carter (R) DH
5. Aaron Judge (R) RF
6. Kyle Higashioka (R) C
7. Rob Refsnyder (R) 1B
8. Dustin Fowler (L) CF
9. Jorge Mateo (R) SS
Cessa gets bombed going only 1 2/3 innings allowing 4 runs and 6 hits. Looks like Mitchell gets a rotation spot because he has earned it.
Mitchell with 3 innings allowing 1 run. And Kaprielian with his first showing of the spring throws a shutout inning.
Kaprielian throws a second scoreless inning, this on 1,2,3.
Many big hits from many Yankee bats today. Coming back from down 4-1 after 2 innings. Yankees take 11-5 lead into the bottom of 9th.
Graham pitches the 9th and Ks the side.
Like winning these kind of games. No quitting.
Tanaka tomorrow against the Tigers.
Frazier with his first spring HR today. Kaprielian with his first spring MLB experience. Good day for Yankee rookies.
Yankees are down to 40 man roster. All others assigned to minor league teams.
Friday 3/17 1:05pm
Masahiro Tanaka (R)
@ Tigers - Michael Fulmer (R)
1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
2. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Greg Bird (L) 1B
6. Chase Headley (S) 3B
7. Rob Refsnyder (R) RF
8. Ronald Torreyes (R) 2B
9. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
Guys now playing to try to make 25 man roster.
Tanaka with three hitless innings so far.
Tanaka goes 4 1/3 hitless and scoreless innings and Shreve gets the last 2 outs in the 5th. Yanks lead 3-0 after 5.
Back to back great efforts from Pineda and Tanaka are very nice.
Montgomery with three innings of hitless pitching. That is eight innings of hitless ball by Yankee pitchers today.
Montgomery goes a 4th hitless inning. Three Yankee pitchers go 9 innings, 0 runs, 0 hits, only 2 walks.
The pitching has shown many good signs.
CC starts tomorrow and CC needs to get on the pitching train.
Would like to see CC produce multiple shutout innings today and then again next outing.
Down to 40 man roster and the lineups are now getting a little tighter.
Looking a t the Scranton roster and they could easily be a contending team in the inferior national league.
LOL wolfie. You are probably right.
Saturday 3/18 1:05pm
CC Sabathia (L)
vs. Orioles - Dylan Bundy (R)
1. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
2. Aaron Hicks (S) LF
3. Gary Sanchez (R) C
4. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
5. Chris Carter (R) 1B
6. Aaron Judge (R) RF
7. Ruben Tejada (R) SS
8. Ji-Man Choi (L) DH
9. Donovan Solano (R) 3B
CC goes 3 really good inning then cracks and gives up 3 runs in the 4th.
McKinney solo HR ties game, then new guy Fieri loses it allowing solo HR in 9th.
If CC falters thru the season I wonder if Girardi would make remove CC from the rotation?
Adam Warren gets the start today. Pitchers are pitching to earn a rotation spot.
It is assumed CC has a spot in the rotation. That may be true as of now. But if he pitches poorly more often than not, he should lose his spot.
Carl Hooks, The problem is CC could just be good enough not to lose his spot and not good enough to move help move the team forward.
Who knows how things will play out. We will see when the season starts.
let's go Yankees.
The Yankees with 3 9th inning runs today beat the Strohs 6-4. The story of the game is Adam warren went 3 2/3 innings allowing 1 run and Louie Severino went 3 1/3 inning allowing 3 runs.
Warren..good. Severino..not good.
Didn't someone post a while ago that they thought the Yankees could use ten or so different starting pitchers this season.
It is going to be a fun season.
Pineda starts tomorrow coming off his last brilliant effort.
Hoping Pineda can put it all together this season and become what he has the arsenal to become.
Pineda 1 2/3 innings gives up 3 runs.
Holiday 2 run HR in 5th.
Green with 3 1/3 innings of scoreless ball today.
18-6 this spring, but alas the games don't count.
Girardi says he took Pineda out in the 2nd inning today because he had thrown 33 pitches in the inning and he felt it was too many pitches at this point.
Mitchell starts tomorrow night against the bosux.
Tonights game against the sux in at 6:30 against Sale. Lets go Bryan, lets go Yankees.
I was reading some threads on a talk forum I got bounced from for disagreeing with the stat frauds there and trying to set them on right path of WIN METHOD baseball. It seems that several posters there want the Yankees to trade for the Angels Mike Trout and for the Yankees to trade 3,4,5,6 of our very promising prospects for him. No way in the world should this happen and I would think Yankee management knows better to never trade so many top quality prospects for one player who has played six seasons, attained very high individual stats but has only helped his team to the playoffs one time and in those playoffs Trout attained 1 hit in 12 at bats leading his team to losing and being eliminated from those playoffs. No way on this earth is Trout worth our future talent who may very well be able to lead the Yankees to playoffs and beyond. Stat frauds are the imbeciles of baseball fans.
Steve, great post again and again spot on. But, as the stat frauds will attest, it was not Trouts fault the team failed, it was all his teammates. The frauds will scream look at Trouts WAR, a made up formula they use to measure a players individual stats. WAR is as useless as the stat frauds themselves. Wins determine the best.
What scares me about trading some of out prospects for loser Trout, is that those prospects may be better than, equal to, or close to the individual stat production of Trout, but far more important, be players who help their team to playoffs and beyond consistently. Something Trout has been unable to do.
This is me expressing my own opinion. I wouldn't trade Greg Bird for Trout straight up. Bird is going to help his team to the playoffs this season and likely Trout will not. Wins and winning, are more important than individual stats.
Steve, stat frauds don't know real baseball, they know fantasy baseball which is not real. They use their stats to play and win in the fantasy world they live and play in. Intelligent and knowledgeable baseball fans rooting for their respective teams in the real world games know that only wins will get their team to the post season. That is the difference between fantasy, phony, lies, deceit and deception on the hand of the stat fraud and the the wins and winning, truth, wisdom, and intelligence of the real world baseball fan, aka WIN METHOD.
NJYANKEE, When you state " But, as the stat frauds will attest, it was not Trouts fault the team failed, it was all his teammates. " Who else are there to blame, it is not Trouts fault the other players do not help him. Wins are the result of player production. The more a player produces the better he is.
Hobbs....It is not how many nor how much any player produces, it is more important when he produces. Going 1-5 with a game winning rbi single is more valuable than going 4-5 with your out being a DP grounder with the bases loaded and losing by not producing when it counted to maybe tie and or win the game.
Hobbs, individual do not win game and neither does their individual stats. All players playing together offensively and defensively create wins for their team. The players who do this the most are the best no matter what any one players stats are.
Tuesday 3/21 6:35pm
Bryan Mitchell (R)
vs. Red Sox - Chris Sale (L)
1. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
2. Gary Sanchez (R) C
3. Starlin Castro (R) 2B
4. Matt Holliday (R) DH
5. Chris Carter (R) 1B
6. Aaron Hicks (S) LF
7. Aaron Judge (R) RF
8. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
9. Ruben Tejada (R) 3B
Ellsbury only left handed bat in lineup. Pound Sale.
It would not surprise me that if Mitchell gets at least four solid innings tonight he could be in on the final decision of earning a rotation spot.
Mitchell goes 4 1/3 allowing 2 runs and striking out 7. Acceptable outing against a top team.
Holiday with a 2 run HR in 6th.
Holiday even game with 2 run HR in 6th.
In case anyone has missed this, Didi is likely out until May with shoulder injury suffered while playing for the Netherlands in the garbage series called the world baseball championship which is a meaningless title played by screwed up players representing countries. The fools at MLB are encouraging this fiasco and are ignorant stooges.
Cessa looses tonights game.
Jeez relax Tommy Lee. The players and a lot of fans seem to care about it. Also, screwed up players? Jeter participated in the WBC before.
Tanaka starts today against the Phillies.
The Yankees have sent Gleyber Torres to minor league camp to start the season. We will see him soon. Didi out a month hurts the lineup losing the left handed bat and likely hurts a bit on defense.
Hobbs, if you have the time and want to learn about real baseball, read this blog from start to finish. You will learn that wins and winning is what determines who is best, not individual stats. And welcome to the best baseball blog in the world.
