WIN METHOD - YANKEE BASEBALL BLOG

      HOT STOVE  NOVEMBER 2025 - FEBRUARY 2026

After another season of making the playoffs, the YANKEES were eliminated in the playoffs.  Once again, during this hot stove winter session, the YANKEES, will try to build a team that can take the team into the World Series for the 2026 season.  In reality, it all comes down to Hal Steinbrenner.  Hal is not his father, does not have a passion for baseball, his only goal is making money.  Yes, the YANKEES make him money, but as long as the YANKEES make him money, he does not feel he has to spend more money to make the team better.  In Aaron Judge, the YANKEES have the star power to keep the fans coming to the ball park.  With Max Fried, Gerrit Cole, the exciting rise of Cam Schlittler and Ben Rice, the fans will come, support and root for the team.  As things now stand, the YANKEES will have a competitive and playoff team for 2026, but will they have enough to make the World Series?  I will push the WIN METHOD for another year, explain to him who and why. The execution of the plan is on him.  The problem, as I see it, is he has other advisors he listens to, with them telling him what he wants to hear,  "the YANKEES can  be competitive, and make the playoffs without spending more money."

There are so many routes to take to make the team better in my opinion, it likely will cost more money to invest, but the return could very well be worth the extra investment.  There are several planned routes available, with each one acquiring different acquisitions and moving present personnel.  Any plan will take a full commitment from Hal.  Last point on Hal, and I will say it again, he is not Mr.S.

As you can see, WIN METHOD fans, you are taking this site, the world's number one baseball, blog, forum, site to the three billion view mark, likely in December. You are the smartest, most intelligent and knowledgeable baseball fans there are. The stat frauds don't like the WIN METHOD, because the WIN METHOD makes the stat frauds look stupid.  Teams and players are not successful because of individual stats, teams and players are successful because of players producing when it counts and matters most to help their team win.  Example: The LA Dodgers do not win the WS this season if not for Miguel Rojas, and his home run in the ninth inning with two outs of the seventh game of the WS this season.  If he had made out, the game would have been over and the Blue Jays would have won the WS.  Miguel Rojas produced when it mattered most at the highest level there is.  The stat frauds explain it as luck, a one-off, an anomaly.  Stat frauds will forget and ignore Miguel Rojas, the WIN METHOD will remember him forever.

To close this blogpost, and open the hot stove, I would like to thank all you WIN METHOD baseball fans from all over the world, you have made the WIN METHOD the success it has become, with your views and comments, you are spreading the word.  The 2026 season is just around the corner, and as always, LETS GO YANKEES and THANK YOU ALL.

The protesters in Minnesota are very ignorant people if they indeed do live in Minnesota. The demonrat bought and paid for protesters from outside of the state need at minimum life in prison, preferably execution.

Nick Polito said...

Another violent protester carrying a loaded gun and ammunition attacks federal officers in Minneapolis yesterday doing their job and the demonrats are crying murder. The demonrats are the murderers, encouraging their constituents and their paid protesters to ferment violence. The demonrat politicians comfortably sit at home while the people they incite do their biding and pay for it with their lives.

Todays demonrat, liberal, communist, progressive, radical left-wing party works against ICE while supporting illegal criminal aliens murdering, raping, pedophile, drug dealing in American cities. You vote for them you are one of them, and a disgrace.

muchomachoman said...

Two FACTS about what is happening in Minnesota recently.

FACT ONE >> ICE is legally performing their job in Minnesota. They are apprehending violent and dangerous illegal alien criminals, arresting them, and processing them for deportation. This is good for America and the American people.

FACT TWO >> The protesters in Minnesota who are interfering and/or obstructing ICE from doing their jobs and committing a felony and very possibly committing sedition against the USA. What they are doing is illegal and not good for America or the American people.

Glen Corbet said...

This is what an anti-ICE protester says and does when asked by reporter about ICE doing their job. >>> A simple attempt at discussion about ICE turned into a fiery confrontation. When facts were brought up, the protester dismissed them and storms away, doubling down on their emotional stance stating >> “I don’t care about facts, ICE needs to be stopped!” - Anti‑ICE protester storms off.

I just watched Tampon Tim Walz say he will never run for an elected office again. My first thought was good, a few seconds later, I felt it was several years to late, he did his damage, he is a hero to the liberal demonrat radical left-wing. Nine billion dollars in fraud under his watch in Minnesota. Criminals running wild in the streets of Minneapolis attacking federal law officers legally trying to arrest and deport vile illegal aliens imported into America by the demonrat party and the Joe Biden administration of corruption, clowns, and criminals.

Now getting to the point I want to make. Think what America would look like today if the Harris-Walz combo had won the 2024 election for President and Vice President of the United States. Illegal criminal aliens would be running wild all across all fifty states. There would be record setting murders, robberies, crime, with the possible end of western civilization right around the corner. Thank heaven that enough people in America still had the common sense to elect Donald Trump President and save America for at least another four years.

On a positive note, spring training is just a couple of weeks away.

TPUSA show was fantastic. >> 'Til You Can't
Song by Cody Johnson ‧ 2021 Lyrics

You can tell your old man
You'll do some largemouth fishing another time
You just got too much on your plate to bait and cast a line
You can always put a rain check in his hand
'Til you can't
You can keep putting off forever with that girl who's heart you hold
Swearing that you'll ask some day further down the road
You can always put a diamond on her hand
'Til you can't
If you got a chance, take it, take it while you got a chance
If you got a dream, chase it, 'cause a dream won't chase you back
If you're gonna love somebody
Hold 'em as long and as strong and as close as you can
'Til you can't
There's a box of greasy parts sitting in the trunk of that '65
Still waiting on you and your granddad to bring it back to life
You can always get around to fixing up that Pontiac
'Til you can't
If you got a chance, take it, take it while you got a chance
If you got a dream, chase it, 'cause a dream won't chase you back
If you're gonna love somebody
Hold 'em as long and as strong and as close as you can
'Til you can't
So take that phone call from your momma and just talk away
'Cause you'll never know how bad you wanna 'til you can't someday
Don't wait on tomorrow 'cause tomorrow may not show
Say your sorries, your I-love-yous, 'cause man you never know
If you got a chance, take it, take it while you got a chance
If you got a dream, chase it, 'cause a dream won't chase you back
If you're gonna love somebody
Hold 'em as long and as strong and as close as you can
'Til you can't
Yeah, if you got a chance, take it (take it), take it while you got a chance
If you got a dream, chase it, 'cause a dream won't chase you back
If you're gonna love somebody
Hold 'em as long and as strong and as close as you can
Until you can't
'Til you can't
Yeah, take it

OK, I admit it. I watched the entire Super Bowl game and the half time show. The games for a championship game, at best, was just fair with a downward arrow to poor. The half time show was complete garbage. Bad Bunny was disgusting, grabbing his crotch countless times while screaming unintelligible words to unbearable music. The combination of game and show were the worse of any Super Bowl. I can also say almost every commercial, which there were many, were very poor with many just nonsensical.

The Trump administration today revoked a landmark scientific finding that serves as the legal foundation for federal regulations to limit greenhouse gas emissions, in a move that eliminates the criminal regulations on climate change set by the Obama/Biden administration of despair in 2009. This will save the American taxpayers over one trillion dollars, lower prices on automobiles and countless other items impacted by the Obama/Biden administration which crippled American fuel production that set fuel prices soaring and American families poorer. Three cheers to President Trump and his administration, which in the future will be hailed as the greatest administration in American history, by everyone but the demonrat scum of the world.

Ben Rice emerged last season as one of the best hitters in the American League. His 133 wRC+ tied for ninth in the AL with Cleveland Guardians star José Ramirez. Rice finished with 530 plate appearances in 138 games, and the goal is to get him even more playing time this year. >> Rice as a legitimate middle-of-the-order hitter who combines elite power with good swing decisions. There was concern that Rice’s role would be diminished after the Yankees re-signed Goldschmidt, but that is not happening. Goldschmidt is here to back up Rice, and the veteran knows he’s entering camp this year without a starting spot.

Gerrit Cole confirmed he may pitch in Grapefruit League games before the end of spring training, which would represent a significant milestone in his recovery from Tommy John surgery as he remains on his expected timetable for return of 14 months after undergoing the procedure last March. That timeline puts Cole's return in June. If he throws in games in March, he will need time to build arm strength while ensuring he doesn't over extend himself. If it takes and extra month to return, so be it.

Several umpires were interviewed about calling balls and strikes and catchers trying to frame pitches. They all said that they call pitches as they cross the plate and not were a catcher catches the ball or moves his glove. The way the Yankee schedule is constructed, they do not need a 5th starter until April 14th, barring any rainouts. Fried. Schlittler, Gil. Warren. Everyone else can be used in long, medium, short, or spot relief.

Yanks up 4-0 into the sixth. Warren was great allowing just one hit.
