Hello YANKEE fans and baseball fans from around the world. The YANKEES are in the playoffs, and finished the American League regular season with the best record in the league, earning the the number one seed in the AL playoffs. They will start the playoffs, as of now, on Saturday October fifth at YANKEE Stadium and will play the winning team from the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles playoff round.
It was a long and hard journey to the playoff, with many ups and downs along the way. The YANKEES started off the season very strong, faltered in June and July, then finished strong in September to earn the top spot in the playoffs. It must be said again, only the best players and best teams are in the playoffs, and through the playoffs the best players and best teams will win each round and move on to the ultimate goal of being the World Series winner.
As with every other team, the YANKEES had their injuries. Injuries to start the season, through the season, at the end of the season, and yes, in the playoffs. As fans, all we can do is root for and support our team, stay positive and leave the negative comments to all the 'loser' forums and fans on the internet. LETS TO YANKEES.
