Lets start this with some great news. A pure WIN METHOD draft selection in the recent MLB draft, the YANKEES were wise enough and fortunate enough to draft North Carolina native Adam Warren. A fantastic WIN METHOD pitching prospect and a player to watch develop. Adam Warren is a hard nose kid who wants to win and puts winning and his team as his top priority. Look for Adam in the Stadium in a few years.
After a rough patch, the YANKEE train seems to be rolling again. The playoffs and the second season are the goal. Choo choo.
The skuttlebut regarding Alex Rodriquez and his lack of consistent performance this season are taking two directions. First the minor one, his hip surgery has slowed his ability and may be the problem. Second, his use of steroids and corrupting the game is catching up to him (this can happen at different ages to different players) and he may be on a downhill trend in the future. This is not good news for the YANKEE team, who in ARod may have made one of their worst signings of all time.
WHEN WHEN WHEN...WIN METHOD fans, you all know how much the WIN METHOD talks of when a player produces compared to how many he produces. Last nights game is a very good example. First of all, we all believe that no player should give up an at bat. The WIN METHOD agrees, but here is the difference between producing WHEN it counts as opposed to not counting very much, if at all. The YANKEES scored five runs in the eight and ninth innings in their 9-1 win over the Mets yesterday. For the stat frauds and fantasy game players, that was great news if the had those players who produced in a relatively meaningless situation. That is the crux of producing WHEN it matters and when it does not matter. The pressure of producing late in the game in games that mean the most is pure WIN METHOD, and defines the great players. Producing in the late innings of a game that has for all intents and purposes has been decided, does not mean much to the WIN METHOD, but it surely pads stats of individual players and makes the fantasy players happy. Remember fans, it is never how much or how many a player attains for himself (except for pitcher wins and saves), but WHEN a player produces for his team. WINS and winning is the goal and the result that determines the greatness of teams and players. The best players create the best teams. The WIN METHOD always acknowledges the winners and best players.

1 – 200 of 302 Newer› Newest»I check twice a day for your new posts. Love the WIN METHOD perspective, the great information, and you. It is always WHEN.
Good stuff. A sweep of the Mets would be great and is in the cards. One game at a time, with good pitching and again good hitting.
You have brought us much talent WIN METHOD. Will look forward and keep an eye out for Warren. Welcome back, and yes let the train keep rolling.
What a great surprise. A great new blog entry. Super stuff, and yes choo choo. Nice win last night. CC can be used to pinch hit.
We have 14 more games up to the All Star game. We have just won 3 straight. It would be super if we could go on a 10-4 run. That would leave us in great position for the 2nd half.
No wonder Jeter is out these games. Watching the game from Atlanta the other night, every time there was a shot of Jeter he was violently coughing. Every at bat, every hit, which there where many. There is no good time for the leader to be out, but he leads even when he is not on the field.
Warren, a 10-4 run could get us within a couple of games of the bosux. Just keep playing good baseball and winning.
Just pound the strike zone AJ. Lets keep up the streak.
I've been WIN METHOD for several years now. There is no question WIN METHOD rules and the stat frauds are fools. Baseball and winning is all about when you deliver. Swwp the mets. Choo choo.
Nice new blog entry. Thanks for the info.
Nice game from AJ. Four in a row. Yes, choo choo.
The win tonight means another series won. Go for the sweep tomorrow,
In the 18 innings the Yankees have pitched against the Mets this weekend, the Mets have gone down in order in 14 of them. That is horrific for the Mets and great for the Yankee pitching staff. Choo choo.
yes, it does appear the train is rolling again, choo choo. it should be interecting to see what wang brings to the table tonight and see if the yankees can sweep the mets and keep the train moving faster and faster.
This is the most fantastic and brilliant site I have come across.
Hey Linda, it's nice to have you with us. We are the intelligent baseball fan discussion board.
Intelligent and we know baseball and why it's played. Choo choo tonight. Wang gets his first win.
The bosux just lost in Atlanta. A win tonight will mean a game closer in the standings. Choo choo.
These 8pm espn starts are as stupid as the espn talking heads.
The YANKEES won their fifth straight game last night, but it was a struggle. The mets gave the YANKEES countless chances to put the game away early and big. The YANKEES did not deliver (WHEN) it it counted and the game came down to the final out. Wang was nothing special, pitching against a very depleted met team, did not pound the strike zone, and was never really in command. But he did get his first win of the season. The bullpen was stellar yet again. Jeter turned a magnificent DP with a diving play up the middle and a back hand flip to Cano. Jeter reached base four of five times and continues to be one of the very best players in the game.
Yes WIN METHOD, that is what I thought. But a win is a win. Choo choo.
A day of rest, the four three game series before the all star break. If we can win all four series that would be fantastic.
I think the Toronto series is four games, and it looks like Wang will get Halladay.
Back in action tonight. Lets go Yankees. Choo choo.
choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo
Ive been posting at a talk forum. for the life of me, I am dumb founded at some of the most obamated stats that are thrown around by some of the posters there. They post garbage upon garbage and I can't stand it anymore. So I pulled out and will now express my opinion here, where it seems most of you know baseball and how and why it is played.
Nice to have you with us William. We have heard the same story from many posters here, who have gotten fed up with the fool stat fraud jerks on many of the talk forums. Welcome and keep posting.
I see we obtained Hinske. Hope he will get time at third base so Afraud can be held out of the lineup.
I thought the same way. The only reason to get Hinske was to cover Afrauds sorry arse. Back to the most important thing. Wins, lets keep the streak going. Choo choo,
Pound the zone Joba. Offense, attack the pitch. Jeter will lead the way to the promised land.
Speaking of Jeter, as he gets older, he seems to be getting even better. Still the best defensive shortstop in baseball. Unbelievable range and makes plays others only dream of.
Very nice win over M/s. We dented their hailed relief corps with five runs with big 8th innings rbis from Melky and Jeter. Choo choo. Six straight and bosux lose.
Choo choo, yes, six straight and the bosux pen allows 10 runs in the 8th and 9th last night to lose. Choo choo. Just keep winning.
Washburn against Pettitte tonight. Going for seven straight. WINS is what the game is all about. Nothing else. Choo choo.
Just getting away from the daily grind for a post. It seems to me that statistical baseball is counter productive, filled with anomalies, loopholes, and falsities. While WIN METHOD baseball is based soley and legitamaly on wins and winning. That is probably why it infuriates the stat frauds. Logic always destroys a fraud.
Good post William and you are dead on right. Winning superceeds everything and is the life blood of baseball. Therefor a win tonight is what I am looking for.
Not to be a jinx, but very confident. Two innings to go for the seventh straight win. What a game by Pettitte.
Fantastic win last night. Yes, Pettitte was splendid. Seven in a row and hopefully a series seep tonight.
It's great seeing more and more new posters and WIN METHOD fans here each day. And the train is rolling along. Choo choo, or is that CC.
SSSSSWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPP!
Did someone say sweep. Some great games this past week. One hand feeds the other. Keep winning.
Some interesting stuff (I think it was on si.com) about how Jeter is getting to more balls up the middle this year. Girardi, unlike Torre, is a fan of letting Derek position himself based on who the batter is. This is the same thing that helped Cal Ripken. Using your head, it fits with Jeter's style.
Raining on and off all day. Sometimes heavy. Game is still scheduled and will probably ge played in some rain. Hope it doesn't sidetrack the choo choo.
Billy...Jeter has always been a well above average fielder. Getting to more balls up the middle may very well be to positioning, But logically that would mean getting to less balls in the hole. Despite the stat frauds convoluted and foolishly created fielding zones and ranges, Jeter has been a brilliant defensive player over his career. Getting to balls and making plays that others only dream of. And Jeter does it in the spotlight on the biggest stage in baseball.
Ain't that the truth WIN METHOD. Jeter has been gold at short. Throw in integrity, character, and charm, any you wind up with the best player in the game for the past decade plus.
If he needs to shade more toward the hole based on knowledge of the batter, then that can work too. It's a good calculated risk.
A tough loss last night. CC was throwing hard, but the pitch seemed to be straight and he was hit hard and got the loss. Guess the choo choo has made a stop, but need to get roling again.
Billy.. a player plays where he is told. If a player is given the choice of playing where he wishes based on his personal knowledge, then so be it. It is like any baseball decision, when it works out, you look good, when it doesn't, you look bad. In the finality of it all, Jeter has been consistently one of teh very best, if not the best shorttop in baseball over his career.
"Jeter has been consistently one of the very best, if not the best shortstops in baseball over his career."
True overall. But let's be fair, fielding really isn't his strength. He's surehanded but many other shortstops have greater range. Those plays in the hole that look spectacular (like the showy jump-throw) are made without such effort by other fielders.
Those who really believe Jeter is a great fielder should Google the term "confirmation bias."
Billy, you have it backwards. The spectacular plays Jeter makes are plays no other shortstop can get to, while the spectacular pl;ays the other shortstops make are Jeters routine plays. Solid up the middle wins pennants and WS rings. Williams in center, Posada behind the plate, Jeter at short was the best in the game. One caveat, Jeter had Brosius at third, now he has to help cover Afraud at third.
Tim, don't mistake convoluted man made defensive stats with reality. WIN METHOD is correct, Jeter has been and is the best defensive shortstop of his career.
We need to get right back on track with a win today. Choo choo.
Stats don't enter my view, Steve, just my eyes. WM, I think you've set up Jeter as an infallible idol. Many reasonable Yankee fans will agree ("past a diving Jeter").
When you are the best and on top as is Jeter, everyone wants to try to knock you down. That is natural, but to be the best you must win, and Jeter wins more than any other shortstop. Winning makes you the best. Any other belief, makes you a fraud.
Tim, I don't set up anyone. Each and every player earns their praise by helping their team to win and success. The players do this, not me. Yes, "past a diving Jeter", a ball no other shortstop comes near. Ansd there's "past a diving whomever", a ball Jeter makes the play on. We have eyes too. Only, ours are not blinded or misled.
An hour to game time. Let the weekend and four game series begin. Choo choo.
The best defensive shortstop for most of Jeter's career was Omar Vizquel. He vacuumed up balls without leaving his feet.
I'll come back with some broader info, but I believe the view that Jeter has great range is in the minority (except here). It undermines your other opinions.
Don't get me wrong, though, he's still a great all-around player and winer. But a balanced view makes for a more believable one.
Tim...the difference in views and opinions here, is that the very large majority of posters here know baseball. The posters here are not misled by talking heads, stat frauds, and fans who in general do not know the game.
Great game today. Coke and Hughes are one hell of a pair of setup men, with Mo closing. Little doubt the Yankee pen is the best in baseball. Almost sure thing to at minimum get a series split with the Jays, with a decent chance to win the series.
Yes, a very great game. Very WIN METHOD. Now if only Wang can come up big tomorrow.
I wonder if Girardi will sit Afraud against Halladay and start Hinske at third.
Yeah William. "Choo choo." That's about as bright as it gets here.
OK, here's what I'm talking about. This report came after the 2008 season. Not stats, just good eyewitness reviews of all balls, not just the highlights.
"They watched film of every major-league game, and had recorded every ball off the bat by the direction in which it was hit [the vector], the type of hit [groundball, flyball, line-drive, popup, etc.] and by how hard the ball was hit [softly hit, medium, hard hit]."
Jeter ranked 22nd among MLB shortstops.
http://www.nypost.com/seven/11042008/sports/yankees/worst_fielder_in_majors_136772.htm
Again, his overall value as a SS is outstanding. The guy is a winner and will be an easy hall of Famer. But he doesn't walk on water. His game has its Achilles heel, and range is it.
Jeff, I let your ignorant comment post, just to show the mentality of the opposition.
Tim, we have seen that report, it has been done each year, for years. That report defines the total stupidity of zone ratings, range factors and ill conceived man made formulas. It is based entirely on misleading convoluted stats. Once you use vectors (degrees of angle), speed of balls hit (slow, medium, fast), you have used stats. A ball hit fast, what is fast? Thros in the difference between a ball hit 120MPH compared to one hit 130MPH, undistinguishable with the naked eye, the hieght of the grass it passes over, the type of grass it passes over, the humidity, the temperature, etc. and you have what we call here, 'fools gold'. Or in other words, worthless statistical information.
Stick with the players who have proven themselves on the field, in the spotlight of the highest competition. the players who consistently over their career have helped lead their team to playoffs, pennants, and WS rings, and you will have the best players in the game. Throw in the FACT, that great baseball minds on the field where knowledgable enough to know Jeter was better than Afrauc at shortstop and had Afraud move to third. Remember when Nomar, Afraud, and Jeter where all playing short and the fools rated Jeter last. Well lo and behold, Jeter is the only one playing shortstop now, has been and is the best there is.
Win Method, the discussion here and your supporters remind me of George Orwell's Animal Farm. Whenever a word of opposition was uttered, this is what would happen:
"At this moment the sheep set up their usual bleating of 'Four legs good, two legs bad,' which went on for several minutes and put an end to the discussion."
Would love to see Wang regain his old form and come up really big today and have the Yankees beat Haladay and the Jays. Choo choo guys.
Jeff, you got that right. You post something stupid here, and you pay the price.
Jeff and his fictional friend George Orwell get taken out and whipped by WIN METHOD himself.
The best team in baseball hung in there and prevailed, beating one of the best pitchers in the game(he did not get the loss but was hit often and hard). Yes the train is rolling again.
Great game to watch at home with some libation and hot dogs. Another WIN METHOD win. What relief, what a bullpen.
Wang, when he left the game, went out with strain of his pitching shoulder. Will definitely miss next turn or more. Likely starter Thursday will be whomever is ready from the minors. Wang can't catch a break, as he was pitching his best game of the year.
Yes, that is tough for Wang. He was looking good today. But never the less, still a big win over a tough team and starting pitcher. Keep the train moving. Go Joba.
With the 2 wins over the Jays, and the bosux 2 losses against the M's, the Yankees are just1 game off the division lead. Yes, keep the train rolling. ...choo choo Yes Jeff, tha's choo choo, just for you.
Cano must understand the WIN METHOD. In an interview yesterday he discussed how he has been knocking in runs, but not in big situatations, and hasn't been helping the team. Another first hand testimonial of the WIN METHOD. Go for three today guys. Choo choo.
Here's an interesting fact. In all games Joba has started as a Yankee, the team has a .667 win percentage. They win 2 of every 3 games he starts. Lets improve that today.
Randy.....that is a creed of the WIN METHOD. It is not how much you attain for yourself, but when you attain for the team.
Giambino....Joba does tend to keep his team in the game.
Let go Yankees, lets go Yankees. Keep the train moving, faster and faster. WINS.
i love the Yankees
Wow, what a game so far today. Who will run out of pitchers first?
I can't believe the bullpen. No Afraud in the lineup clogging up things and the team powers out 10 runs. Another series won, with a chance of a four game sweep tomorrow.
Oh yeah, choo choo, choo choo.
Joba sucked today, but the team got another win when he starts.
This team is really gelling and looking good. Sweeeep.
Fans, remember, your not as good as you look when everything is going right, and your not as bad as you look when everything is going wrong.
But it appears the AYNKEES may be rounding into the best team in baseball.
Words of wisdom from WIN METHOD. I love this blog. Go YANKEES and WIN METHOD.
If Arod hits cleanup in todays game instead of Posada, the Yankees would have lost the game. I wonder when Hinske will get a shot?
No matter what happens today my 4th of July weekend has been fantastic. WIN, WIN, WIN, no work, just a lot of fun. Thank you Yankees and WIN METHOD.
Pettitte and the Yankees go for the sweep today. If Andy pitches the way he did last outing, everything will be fine. choo choo.
espn's talking baseball statheads are unquestionably the most ignorant people in the world. What is worst, are the people who tend to believe them. they are just as dumb and ignorant as some of the baseball forum numbnuts.
Wilson...I don't watch or listen to them anymore. All the baseball anyone ever needs to know is what the WIN METHOD is all about. It celebrates and recognizes achievement for winning, not individual stats. Lets go Yankees, choo choo.
One hour to game time. This train might be the express. No stops. choo choo choo choo.
Tough beat. Was that the worst umpiring crew in a long time. consistent missed calls of the bases was pathetic and it actually cost the Yankees the game today. Oh well, there's nothing you can do bur go with the flow. But playing nine against thirteen is a little unfair and not a fair way to stop the train.
Your funny Giambino. But you are right. Win the last 2 series before the all star game and we will be in great shape. choo choo
Umpiring wise, sometimes you get the calls, sometimes you don't. Yesterday, the tag out at home without the ball was a blatant miscall and a fine should be in order in such cases. Jeter out at third today, I would have to let go.
The out at 2nd base with the shortstop not even close to the bag was also blatant and an umpire fine should be in order. We';; live to win another day.
CC starts it off in Minnesota, followed by AJ, and then Wangs replacement. Choo choo. Lets get the train rolling again.
Lets finish off these last two series with a runaway train wins. choo choo.
We are playing some great baseball, even in the losses. And yes, the umpiring has been pathetic. To me, the umpires are mostly a bunch of over paid lazy guys. Why aren't there any women umpires.
CC should bounce back from his last outing. Lets get the series started on the right foot with a win.
Super blog fans. Nothing but why the game is played. Love it.
Wins is the name of the game George. Anyone who thinks different is a fool. Glad you are here, keep posting.
No stops for the Yankee express in Twinkieville. choo choo.
Yes, the express is moving, non stop. AJ to repeat.
CC was very good. Hope we do not need those extra runs tonight. Lets close out the first half with a bang and maybe first place.
choo choo choo choo choo choo choo choo. get out of my way.
Go johnny go. We are on the express with you. choo choo choo choo.
AJ, pound the zone, and the game is yours.
Go train go. Good starting pitching, great relief pitching, timely hitting and you get yet another WIN METHOD win. Can we sweep,
Yes, a sweep is in order and would start the road trip off beautifully. Choo choo.
The Yankee train is becoming a beast. Over five innings of shutout ball by five relievers win the game, and sweep the series.
Aceveds held his own and the pen came up big again. RBIs from Ransom, Gardner, Jeter, and Texieria are enough for a WIN METHOD win. Choo choo. Get out of the way bosux.
Go west Yankees, go west. Bring your brooms. You may need them. Just winning another series would be fine for me. choo choo. Go Joba, bounce back.
Chamberlain needs to be more consistent. When he gets ahead of hitters, he needs to put them away. Far to many long counts and extended at bats. He is young and still learning to pitch and just not throw.
The bosux lost yesterday and have lost sole possession of first place. How nice. The train keeps moving tonight, choo choo.
I just keep coming back to this blog. It is the best. I looked at a couple of talk forums and post after post of the most meaningless, only for fools stats. Are those people that dumb and stupid. Go Yankees, WIN.
Dimitri, the answer to your question is yes, they are that dumb and stupid. But what irks them most, is that the WIN METHOD is never wrong. But they just continue and defend players who do not help their team succeed while knocking the champions, over and over. Dumb dee dumb dumb.
You make a valid and real point bigbadwolf. I have always believed that individual stats was fodder for fools. When I debate the stat frauds they make utter fools of themselves> It is exactly the same of the sports media. But lets stay on the track and keep the train rolling, choo choo.
We are playing really good baseball right now. Just have to be steady and consistent.
As was posted earlier, Joba need to throw strikes and put people away quickly. stop fooling around and dominate. choo choo
One hour until the train starts moving. choo choo, choo choo.
A sorry loss last night, but Andy can bring us back today. Get the train moving again.
My thoughts on Jobas pitching. It appears he is unable to put away hitters. His fastball at 91-94 does not move enough to make batters miss enough. Lat year Joba could consistently throw 97-99 for an inning or two. The great throwers in baseball could always reach back in tough situation and get a key out to save an inning. Right now Joba is not able to do this often enough. The question begs, why can't Joba hit 97-99 for several pitches during a game? At this point in time, Joba at best, is a mediocre fifth starter. Some type of corrective action is in order.
Chamberlain has been some what disappointing. I agree, he is not taking charge. But maybe, he can't.
We need to bounce back today. Get the train back on the track. Choo choo.
Jeter is still the best player in the game. He hasn't shown any age yet.
CC will need to bail us out tomorrow.
The train is off track.
Andy couldn't hold the lead. Not good.
Did someone say sweep. I hope not. We need a good one from CC. Choo Choo.
This is where CC earns his money. a win for CC today is a win for the team. That's WIN METHOD.
We get swept in Anaheim after sweeping in Minnesota. 3-3 road trip is horrible after 3-0 start. Afraud again proves his total inability WHEN it counts with a DP with the bases loaded in the 7th and a no contact K in the 9th. But he did have 3 HRs in non crucial at bats. HE SUCKS.
Time to rest, regroup, and recharge the batteries. The train starts rolling again in five days.
I hope we come back refreshed and ready to take charge for the rest of the season.
Hope nothing stupid happens to any of our All Stars tomorrow. You are right bonnie, we need to come back on track and start rolling immediately.
I hate this break. Lets play ball.
choo choo next stop detroit
It was great seeing the three Yankees being an integral part of the American League win in the All star game, giving home field advantage to the far superior American League.
Tomorrow starts the run to the finish line. Lead us to the promised land Derek Jeter.
AJ gets the train moving tonight. Go Yankees.
Yes, it is time to start winning series after series and keep the pressure on the bosux.
Best foot forward tonight and beat the Tigers.
Same old, same old. Just throw strikes and pound the zone. Make the batters swing at your pitches, not theirs.
Big time win to start the second half. choo choo
Good start to the second half. It was mentioned last night, that the Yankees have the best record in al baseball for the first game back after the All Star break. something like 57 and 22. Add one more. Choo choo.
Should be a good game today. Strikes CC and make them swing. Choo choo.
Did y'all see Jeters defense up the middle last night. Fantastic play, and of course the big opposite field hit on a 98mph fast ball to start the winning rally capped by Texs e run HR. choo choo today people.
Great game from CC and the relief corps. Arod comes through as does Melky again. bosux lose and the train is rolling again. choo choo
Super game. Go Yankees. Get the sweep tomorrow.
Joba needs to follow AJ and CC with a big effort and stop fooling around. Big hits WHEN they count will win the game.
Did someone say SSSSWWWWEEEEPPPP. The bosux lose, one game out. The train is really rolling.
oh yes choo choo choo choo.
The last e games have to be WIN METHOD baseball to the ultimate. Nothing wasted, just solid WINS.
Now there can't be let down against the O's.. Just keep the train moving with wins. Any tomorrow, who Tuesday.
Right Sandho, sometimes they let down, and that spells loss. WIN METHOD, have you heard who is starting Tuesday?
Sergio Mitre is being called up from Scranton. His last out was a real good effort. He is slated to start Tuesday against the O's.
Andy tonight. I precidt an easy win today. Hope I don't jinx anything.
Willie, no jinxes. Just winning baseball from WIN METHOD.
choo choo choo choo
Lets take another series and keep the pressure on the bosux.
WIN METHOD, can we win a game by several runs once and awhile? These 1 and 2 run games are going to give me ulcers. LOL Love you.
It's nice to see Afraud getting some timely hits. It would be great if it continues through the season. It would be nice for him to finally contribute. Texieria and Jeter are gold defensively, while also being big time offensive contributors. Choo choo guys.
Here is a piece of information regarding Derek Jeter. Jeter the best shortstop in baseball has had six seasons of two hundred hits or more. More than any other shortstop in the history of baseball. Throw in the playoffs, pennants, and WS rings, and you have one of the greatest players of all time and a sure first ballot Hall of Fame entrant.
Jeter is the heart and soul of the Yankees. Character and integrity of the highest level. A true American icon.
I just posted on anearlier blog. Just wanted to say hello and how much I like this blog. Will be a regular. Oh yes, choo choo.
No jinxes. Another 2-1 win and a tie for first place. Choo choo. Off we go.
This just has to be pure WIN METHOD for the past four games. No wasted pitching, hitting, runs. This is great. Keep the train rolling again tonight.
Third time has to be the charm. Every time we captured the bosux we fell. This time, lets keep rolling and leave them in our dust. Choo choo.
Bury the bosux for a hundred years.
Atta boy dan, I'm with you. But lets win this series first and just keep winning. then everything else will fall into place.
Mitre pitches well tonight and he likely claims the five spot in the rotation. Get the brooms ready people. choo choo
Did someone say sweep. Here comes Jeter with his cleanup crew. choo choo.
Five in a row and another sweep very possible. The train looks like it may be an express. choo choo.
The bosux lose again and we have first place alone. Now keep it and play WIN METHOD baseball and all will be ours.
WIN METHOD said before the season started the Yankees had the best rotation and the best relief corps. Considering the injuries and adjustments, it shows that WIN METHOD is right again and again. If you want to learn baseball, just keep coming back to this blog. If you are a stat fraud, go play a video game or play in a fantasy league.
Great game, enough from Mitre to keep us in the game, then the bullpen locks down another one. Six runs on six hits, pure WIN METHOD. choo choo
SSSSWWWWEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPP. Lets go Yankees. AJ dominate.
Lets get the six spot today. No let ups. Just wins.
Two straight brooms, six straight wins, and the the bosux must now play catchup. Choo choo.
Another super effort from AJ. The trains engineer pushed the pedal to the metal on his first at bat which set the tone for the four run game deciding inning. Yes fan, choo choo.
Next! The Oakland A's meet CC Sabathia, Joba Chamberlain, Andy Pettitte, and Sergio Marte. Sweep?
Three of four would be fine for me. Choo choo.
Hello fans. Thanks for all your posts and helping the YANKEE train speed to its final destination. Choo choo. I know many of us here including myself in particular have knocked and ripped Afraud for his consistent failures WHEN we needed him. I recently have seen a change in him for the better. He has been hitting singles and knocked in key runs in several instances. He has been more relaxed and Derek Jeter has been a good influence on him. Lets hope his change for the better continues, and he realizes you do not win games by yourself, but you win as a team getting key hits and making key plays WHEN it matters most. Last, but not least, I would like to pass along my condolences to the bosux fans.
We have been playing good steady baseball for a long time, the only bad stretch was the lost weekend in Anaheim. Nice comments WIN METHOD regarding Arod. Yes, those RBI singles mean much more than HRs when they are not needed. I'm on the train with you all. Choo choo.
We do seem to be playing more as a team lately. Maybe Afraud has finally learned.
The Yanks are rolling along on the express and the bosux are in free fall. The sux fans are flooding the country with tears.
CC keeps the train rolling tonight for seven in a row. No let down now guys. Choo choo.
WIN METHOD..I love your post on Afraud. Praising him for his recent efforts shows your integrity and fairness. And yes, lets keep winning. Love you.
Erica. you are going to spoil WIN METHOD. choo choo
Yes fans, it is now seven straight. Another WIN METHOD win. Choo choo, keep the train on the tracks Joba.
I hate when games get backed up two hours. It has happened to CC twice now, and both times he struggled. But good enough to win. Yes WIN METHOD and all fans CHOO CHOO.
I at first was somewhat skeptical about the WIN METHOD. I posted some time ago as I became a believer. I am now thoroughly convinced, there is nothing better than the WIN METHOD and its creator is brilliant.
Another win for the WIN METHOD express. eight going for nine. Roll baby roll. choo choo
Joba was brilliant. Isn't this the first time he has had two dominant starts in a row? Young and learning and may be just in the first stages of developing into a first rate top of the line ace. Choo choo
Andy today. Going for nine. Remember fans, as WIN METHOD has always said. No team is as good as when they are on a win streak, and no team is as bad as when they are on a losing streak. Ride the train, choo choo
Will some teams pitcher shut our bats down, or will one of our pitchers lose a game? Or will we just lose a very close game that could go either way? Choo choo
it should be interesting to see what Mitre does today. A good outing could solidify a spot in the rotation. choo choo
A tough loss yesterday. Pettitte hung in there well but was outpitched. Oh well, todays another day.
We got our win today and the bosux lost. so the last two days have been a wash. When you are first you can live with washes. Jeter delivers yet again.

The nice part about leading your division and there are fewer and fewer games left, the teams several games back have to start thinking about sweeps and not just winning two of three. While being in the lead, taking two of three just make the season shorter.
These games with the top contenders are almost getting to the point of playoff standard games. These are the series you want to win.
