PLAYOFFS 2019 -- THE SECOND SEASON

Here we are WIN METHOD fans.   Despite a season long rash of debilitating injuries to an overwhelming amount of players, our New York YANKEES have won 103 games, won the American League East Championship and have qualified as one of five best teams in the American League.

The YANKEES will host the Minnesota Twins scheduled for Friday, October 4th, at Yankee Stadium in the first game of a best of five series.   The team that wins any of the series in the post season playoffs will be the team whose players produce when it matters most in each game.  Only the best teams with the best players will win and move on to the next series.  All the teams and players who made the playoffs are the best in baseball.  All the other players in baseball are done and are going home to watch the playoffs on television.  Many of the highest paid players in baseball are going home.  They are going home because they are not the best and are only paid because of their high meaningless individual stats.

Speaking of high paid losers going home and not making the playoffs.  How wonderful did it turn out for the YANKEES by not signing either of the 300 million dollar losers, Manny Machado and Bryce Harper.  If the YANKEES had signed either, the YANKEES would not have made the playoffs and their chances in the future would have been seriously compromised.  Even though it can be done it is hard playing around players who contaminate your team.....remember the afraud years.

Lets hope the YANKEES get it all together, body and soul, and produce the most when it counts and go as far into the playoffs as their talents can take them.  No matter how the playoffs turn out, it has been a great season, with next season, and future seasons looking very promising and bright as the YANKEE newcomers bloom and grow.  So here we are, LETS GO YANKEES.

  4. Harper has always played in the 4A inferior league, and Machado got dropped to that level and still couldn't help his team.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I have little doubt the Yankees can win the WS this season, and no doubt they will one or two in the next few seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Time for each player to step up and prove they are the best. Excuses are for the losers.

    ReplyDelete
  7. If anyone knows, WIN METHOD kows, baseball and what it takes to win.

    ReplyDelete
  8. If you don't think you can, you won't. If you think you can, and do the best you can, you have the chance for success. Losers say I can't, winners say I can try.

  10. All the American League playoff teams are very very good. Each series will be a battle and one great team will move on and one great team will have their season ended.

    ReplyDelete
  11. We all know what it takes to win, it is up to the players to do what it takes in each series. Total pressure baseball when every pitch, every at bat, and every play have more meaning than at any other time of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  12. If Paxton has residual effect from his glute tightness that would not bode well for the Yankees. That is a big IF.

    ReplyDelete
  13. For those of you out there who like trivia. Here is a very interesting and unusual piece of baseball trivia.

** In a 1951 baseball game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Boston Braves, an umpire ejected a player arguing with him. The umpire then went on to eject the entire Dodger bench as they kept arguing with him. One of the bench players was Bill Sharman. Bill Sharman was then and still is now the only MLB player to be ejected from a MLB game without ever having played in a MLB game. Bill Sharman's real game was professional basketball. Sharman had a great career as a Boston Celtic player and more. Sharman went on to be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1976 as a player and in 2004 as a coach. **

    ReplyDelete
  14. sid greenberg, I wonder how many people ever have known that about Bill Sharman. Likely more people up in Boston than anywhere. Love oddities like that. Thanks for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I wonder if Boone is communicating to his guys that being aggressive at the plate is fine, but swinging wildly at pitches in the dirt, off the plate by six or more inches, and pitches above your shoulders need to be curtailed big time.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Funny, being thrown out of a game and have never ever played in a game.

    ReplyDelete
  17. This waiting to play is nerve racking.

    ReplyDelete
  18. If the Yankees play WIN METHOD baseball they will do well.

  20. The three AL division winners won 107, 103, and 101 games. The season is six months long with on average 26 games each month. The difference between 107 wins and 101 is just one winning game a month. The difference between 107 and 103 is less and the difference between 103 and 101 is more less. What I am saying is any team whose players step up and produce the most on the biggest stage and under the brightest lights will be the best of the best. There is hardly a difference between each team.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Can we expect to have Paxton start game one if he is fully healthy?

    ReplyDelete
  22. You might see combination starters. There are many possibilities. Opener going 1 or 2 innings. One of the four starters going 3,4, or 5? innings. Four or fives top relievers going and inning each, and even a matchup pitcher for 1 or 2 batters. Every reliever can pitcher in every game with the scheduled off days for travel.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The Nationals defeated the Brewers 4-3 last night scoring 3 runs in the 8th inning for the win. A big, when it mattered most, single with the bases loaded that tied the game and on the same play, a big when it mattered most error by the Brewer right fielder to allow the winning run to score. All the individual stats in the world for all players on each team did not make an iota of difference on the outcome of this game.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Steve, no, no, no. Harper won the game for the Nationals last night. He jumped the team for money. So the Nats without him make the playoff and win the wildcard game without him. The team Harper jumped to, the Phillies, who were stupid to pay for Harper, paid the price in his first year with him playing for them. They failed to make the playoffs. Oh yes, it was his teammates fault.

White Knight, I think your post is very logical and makes much sense.

Steve, You have always destroyed the stat frauds with logic and common sense.

Kenny Sheperd, Funny, factual, and the proof is in the outcome pudding.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I laugh whenever I read someone saying the Yankees lowball free agents, and some other team pays these guys top dollar, the team loses, and their franchise goes into the Rangoon receptacle for years. I think it is more accurate and wise to say the Yankees offer what the player may be worth.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lou Moscowitz, It's like going to buy a new car you need and paying MSRP. Only a fool does that. No player is worth what too many of them are getting.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Encarnacion will be available for Minnesota games. Big experienced bat.

    ReplyDelete
  29. If Encarnacion is on the roster, will Voit also be on it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Tug Garner, Voit hasn't been hitting and Encarnacion hasn't been playing, it's Boone's call.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think Ford is also a contender at 1b. A lefty bat also. For me that leaves Voit as odd man out.

    ReplyDelete
  32. My position roster.
    1 Romaine 2 Sandchez 3 Encarnacion 4 Ford 5 LeMahieu 6 Torres 7 Gregorius 8 Urshela 9 Wade 10 Judge 11 Gardner 12 Stanton 13 Maybin + 12 pitchers.

    ReplyDelete
  33. 12 pitchers......1 Paxton 2 Louie Louie 3 Tanaka 4 Happ 5 Green 6 Kahnle 7 Ottavino 8 Britton 9 Chapman 10 CC 11 Cortes 12 Cessa

    ReplyDelete
  34. Get ready guys. Come out hitting and pitching and don't stop until it's over.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Never hang around with people who are negative, say it can't be done, make excuses, believe numbers on paper are better than what actually happened on the field, and believe the losers are better than the winners.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Final. Rays trounce the A's 5-1. A's did not produce in any aspect of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  37. One more day and then it's a best of five playoff round in the ALDS. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just out...............The Yankees will start James Paxton, Masahiro Tanaka and Luis Severino, in that order, in the first three games of their American League Division Series against the Twins.

CC Sabathia will not be on the roster, manager Aaron Boone said on Thursday. Boone said the decision had to do with Sabathia's shoulder “not bouncing back.” The veteran left-hander had a cortisone shot last week.

    ReplyDelete
  39. For CC to pitch in this postseason, the Yankees will need to beat the Twins and move on to the ALCS.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Tough luck for CC. Hope he gets a chance to finish out career in the postseason.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is still one heck of a great blog. No Barbra Streisand meaningless stats. Good logical thinking and common sense baseball and what it takes to win.

    ReplyDelete
  42. If you have a day off after just 2 games there really isn't a reason to carry more than 10 or 11 pitchers. Every reliever can pitch both games if needed and the extra bench players may come in more handy.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Lets go Yankees. Yes you can and yes you will.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Back in action tonight. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The Yankees batters needs to drive the ball where it is pitched. If they try to pull outside pitches they will have problems.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Here is the Yankee ALDS roster.

    Right-handed pitchers

    Luis Cessa
    Chad Green
    Tommy Kahnle
    Jonathan Loaisiga
    Adam Ottavino
    Luis Severino
    Masahiro Tanaka

    Left-handed pitchers

    Zack Britton
    Aroldis Chapman
    J.A. Happ
    Tyler Lyons
    James Paxton

    Catchers

    Gary Sanchez
    Austin Romine

    Infielders

    Edwin Encarnacion
    Didi Gregorius
    DJ LeMahieu
    Gleyber Torres
    Gio Urshela
    Luke Voit
    Tyler Wade

    Outfielders

    Brett Gardner
    Aaron Judge
    Cameron Maybin
    Giancarlo Stanton

Lyons lefty reliever likely because of experience.

    ReplyDelete
  47. That gives us a four man bench. Better than three.

    ReplyDelete
  48. James Paxton LHP

    NYY Lineup

    D LeMahieu (R) 1B
    A Judge (R) RF
    B Gardner (L) CF
    E Encarnación (R) DH
    G Stanton (R) LF
    G Torres (R) 2B
    G Sánchez (R) C
    D Gregorius (L) SS
    G Urshela (R) 3B

Finally, Sanchez dropped.. OK guys, it's all up to you. Best 3 of 5. Produce or go home.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Lets score first and keep on scoring.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Win three series in a row is all it takes now. Can our pitchers step up and excel for three weeks. Sure they can and I'll bet dollars to donuts that Boone has sat down with the players and asked them to show the world and the skeptics what they've got. GO YANKEES.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Don't forget WIN METHOD fans, Teena will be at tonight's game.

    ReplyDelete
  52. First time in the second season for Paxton. Get by that first inning unscathed.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Produce when it matters guys and you will carry the day. That is all that it takes and it makes no difference who does it. It is just much more fun when you all do it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lets go Yankees, you can and you will.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I've been a Yankee fan and watching baseball for over 70 years and I still get goosebumps when they introduce the players for games in the postseason. The best players in baseball.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I hope the stat fans can see the difference in the pressure on the players in the playoffs. Any pitch, any at bat, any play can determine who wins and who loses, who plays on and who goes home. This is why the best players win and win because they produce and perform when it matters most.

    ReplyDelete
  57. We are in the second inning and both pitchers are working hard.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yanks down 1-0 after 2.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yankees score 3 in 3rd aided by Twinkie error on double play ball hit by Torres. Take 3-2 lead.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Encarnacion has come back strong from the DL. Had key hit in 3 run third inning for a 3-2 lead. Twins pitcher is toast throwing 76 pitches in 3 innings.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yankees up 3-2 after 4.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Paxton goes 4 2/3 allowing 3 runs and leaves with the score tied 3-3.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Torres with a big when it mattered at bat gets double with bags full scoring 2 for a 5-3 lead. Then meatball looks terrible striking out looking and not getting runner in from third with less than 2 out.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yankees take 5-3 lead after five on big hit from Torres.

    ReplyDelete
  65. LeMahieu and Gardner HRs put Yankees up 7-4 after 6.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yanks up 7-4 after 6.

    ReplyDelete
  67. LeMahieu with a giant 2 out double clears the bases for 3 runs and a 10-4 lead in 7th which likely ices the game for Yanks.

    ReplyDelete
  68. It looks like Teena has seen another win. What is she something like 30+ and 2.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yanks up 10-4 after 8.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Final. Yankees win 10-4. Bats looked good but for meatball and Didi. A few big his when it mattered and that was the game.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Tanaka starts in game two. Same results would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  72. The Stadium was rocking last night, even after falling behind 2-0. Loved the outcome and stayed until the last out.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Sanchez went 0-3 last, striking out all 3 times ans left 5 runners on base, more than any other Yankee. Hope he comes alive.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Masahiro Tanaka RHP

    NYY Lineup

    D LeMahieu (R) 1B
    A Judge (R) RF
    B Gardner (L) CF
    E Encarnación (R) DH
    G Stanton (R) LF
    G Torres (R) 2B
    G Sánchez (R) C
    D Gregorius (L) SS
    G Urshela (R) 3B

Same lineup as last night. Same results? Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  75. We didn't score first yesterday, but we did produce when it mattered enough times to win big. So, score first today, and keep scoring, and win big again.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Lets go Masahiro, come up big and dominate. Go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yanks score first on RBI single be Encarnacion for 1-0 lead after one inning.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yanks up 1-0 after 2.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yanks up 8-0 after 3 with Didi delivering when it mattered with a grand slam. Even Sanchez contributed for the first time in the series. He got hit by a pitch.

    ReplyDelete
  80. 7 run 3rd inning gives Yanks 8-0 lead thru 3. Gregorius with a grand slam the big blow.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yanks up 8-1 after 4.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Tanaka goes five, one run, three hits. Strong solid effort on the big stage, again.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Yanks up 8-1 after 6.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Unless there is a total meltdown it looks like it will be 2-0 for Yankees going to Minnesota.

    ReplyDelete
  85. What a nice win and up 2-0. What a pleasant weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Final. Yankees win 8-2. Take 2 game to none lead in best of five series. Tanaka five very good innings giving up 1 run. Bullpen not taxed. Biggest arms not used. Gregorius grand slam biggest hit of game and iced game early. So far so good.

    ReplyDelete
  87. We have Louie Louie on tap to start game three in Minny.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Stanton and Sanchez only twp Yankee starters without a hit, but Stanton has come out of each game in 6th inning and does have 4 walks.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Sanchez's swings are generally wild and he is still swinging at pitches that are not close to being strikes.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Off day, happy Sunday. Up 2-0 and need 1 more win to move on to the ALCS.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Here is a way for the stat frauds to maybe understand the WIN METHOD better, while also putting how meaningless individual stats can be.

Over a 3 games series, player 'A' goes 5 for 15. 3 singles and 2 grand slams. The singles are not involved in any runs being scored and each grand slam 1 in game 1 and 1 in game 2 come in the 8th and 9th inning of games your team is leading 11-3 and 8-1 making the scores 15-3 and 12-1. Nice wins. In the same series, player 'B' goes 1 for 15. 'B' went 0-5 in games 1 and 2. He has gone 0-3 in game 3. Your team is down 3-2 in the 6th inning and 'B' finally gets a hit and it is grand slam putting your team up 6-3. 'B' doesn't get a hit in his final at bat of the game and your team goes on to win 8-3.

Who was more important in the series enabling your team to win all 3 games..player 'A' of 'B'?

    ReplyDelete
  92. coryankee, great job defining the WIN METHOD. You won't get any stat frauds to respond. If a fraud responds, they will just say that A is better if he hits like that over the season and he will help his team more over the long run and player B just got lucky that one time.

    ReplyDelete
  93. To all you stat frauds out there, please read on.....

.....*1.The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.....*2.Everyone brings something to the table.....*3.Don't criticize what you can't understand.

*Explanation for stat frauds. 1. Winning is more important than individual stats. 2. All players on a team help the team to success of failure. 3. If you are to stupid to comprehend 1 & 2 don' say anything.

    ReplyDelete
  94. For the three game series, player B had a higher upside in helping his team win than player A.

    ReplyDelete
  95. coryankee, you posted an excellent scenario, albeit maybe an extreme one, but it make the point very well that individual stats for a player is not important as winning and helping your team to the playoffs and more.

    ReplyDelete
  96. An off day is really pleasant today. I guess being up 2-0 in a best of five series has something to do with it. Far better than being down 0-2 or even 1-1.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Louie Louie throws 4 or 5 good innings Monday and with a full 100% bullpen behind him, we could sweep the series in 3 games.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Silence from the stat frauds. They have no game, the only thing they have is Barbra Streisand.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yanks23245, They can't argue fact and common sense. They rather believe in and rely on make up formulas that give false and fake information. Very sad.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I just hope Sanchez gets hot for a couple of weeks. He can make a big difference. Right now he is just a black hole. Very much like afraud in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Benny, the problem with Sanchez is his bar is so low. When he is off, he tends to be atrocious. He is also very slow afoot which makes him an albatross on the basepaths and a double play waiting to happen. Plus, many of his home runs are hit in meaningless situations. Not all but many. His defense is still pretty poor although he has improved some.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Will Boone go with the same lineup three games in a row? I would.

    ReplyDelete
  103. It looks like the Yankees were wise again staying away from Corbin and a multimillion dollar several year deal. Corbin did surely help his team to the playoffs, but it looks as if he may have lost them the NLDS best 3 of 5 playoffs by losing his team 2 of the first 3 games.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Guys, don't take the Twins for granted tonight, they aren't giving up.

    ReplyDelete
  105. """"""""""KevMac said...

I agree completely. I also think Louie Louie has something to prove after losing almost all of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  106. All we need to do is win three series in a row. Yes we can.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I have been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any
interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful thsn ever before.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Boone has hinted he will use same lineup tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Luis Severino RHP

    NYY Lineup

    D LeMahieu (R) 1B
    A Judge (R) RF
    B Gardner (L) CF
    E Encarnación (R) DH
    G Stanton (R) LF
    G Torres (R) 2B
    G Sánchez (R) C
    D Gregorius (L) SS
    G Urshela (R) 3B

Same lineup gets the same results one more time. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Jackson DeWitt-IowaOctober 7, 2019 at 6:20 PM

Lets get Stanton and Sanchez their first hits of the series, and make it big ones when it matters.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Play ball guys, WIN METHOD baseball. Offense and defense when it counts the most. Then come home and prepare.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Second inning. Louie Louie loads bases with no outs, then poput, k, k, and pitches out of big jam. 1-0 Yankees after 2.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Yanks up 1-0 after 2.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Gardner two out RBI single in 3rd gives Yanks 2-0 lead thru 3. Louie Louie working very very hard these 3 innings but has kept the Twins from scoring. Maybe one more inning.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Stanton gets his first hit of the series to lead off fourth. Only Sanchez left without a hit.

    ReplyDelete
  116. After Stanton hit, Torres hits into DP, then Sanchez gets his first hit for naught.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Louie Louie pitches his best inning in 4th. His only 1,2,3 inning.

    ReplyDelete
  118. One heck of a nerve racking game as Twins have threatened in every inning but one and still have not scored. 2-0 Yankees after six.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Didi RBI single in 7th makes it 3-0 Yanks after 7. Twinkies have left nine men on base so far.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Still two more inning to go. Postseason baseball, big games from start to finish unless there is a blow out game.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Britton taken out in 8th with one out and giving up a solo HR. Looks like some type of injury. Chapman coming in for a five out save?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Maybin homers in 9th to get run right back. 4-1.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Gregorius rbi single makes it 5-1.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Final. Yankees win 5-1. One of the finest all around defensive games by the Yankees all season. Done on the biggest stage and under the brightest lights. Win ALDS and the first of four teams who will play in the best of seven Championship Series games.
    How sweet it is.

    ReplyDelete
  125. YES WE CAN AND YES WE WILL

    ReplyDelete
  126. Congratulations to our Yankees for their achievements this season despite countless injuries to almost every player from the start of the season and still ongoing. You all should be proud how far you have come. I know you want more. Just do the best you can and no matter what, you are a great team with a bright future. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Teena/Bronx, Hear hear, very nice.

    ReplyDelete
  128. In the three games against the 101 win Minnesota Twins, the Yankees put WIN METHOD baseball altogether. Producing WHEN it mattered most offensively with big hits scoring runs. Pitching, with big pitches WHEN it mattered most preventing big scoring chances by the Twins. And defensively WHEN it mattered most, making plays that prevented big scoring chances by the Twins. No individual stats were important, but it was every player doing their best on the biggest stage at the biggest times that won the Yankees the series.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Cory, that is what baseball is all about, not how much or how many for individuals, but wins for teams built on the results players produce when it counts.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Enjoy your days off guys. Well deserved. Get ready for the next foe. One game at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Win or lose going forward, this season has been magnificent.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Lets go Yankees. Wins and winning is the result of everyone on the team playing as a unit and not for themselves and producing when it matters most.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Next Yankee game Saturday. Who, where and when?

    ReplyDelete
  134. All three of the other division series are going to a fifth and deciding game. Washington/LA and St.Louis/Atlanta today. Tampa/Houston tomorrow. Yankees will play winner of Tampa/Houson game.

    ReplyDelete
  135. What will be will be, the best team and players will win.

    ReplyDelete
  136. John Harnett, Not in the stat fraud world. The best team is the team that they say is best, determined on paper, and backed up with fake stats. If their 'best team' does not win on the field, it was only a fluke and the other team got lucky at 'the right time'.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Stat frauds don't know baseball. They play fantasy games. Follow creators of fake stats created with bias by the creator and made up with subjective values and formulas.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Britton injury was a minor ankle sprain and he will be all set to go for ALCS.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Cardinals advance in NL.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Washington defeats LA 7-3 in 10. How brilliant was Nat management not signing Harper and making their team better. One of the final four teams in baseball without Harper who helped lead his team home for October baseball. What's your excuse stat frauds?????????

    ReplyDelete
  141. One more division series game left. Houston at Tampa tonight and the Yankees get to play the winner in a best of seven series for the American League Championship.

    ReplyDelete
  142. The frauds are blaming Dodger manager Roberts for putting in the Dodger 'ace' Kershaw in to pitch the eighth inning with a 2 run lead. Kershaw promptly gave up 2 home runs that cost his team the game. Also, the frauds would still blame Roberts if he brought in any other pitcher and they did the same as Kershaw did. They would blame Roberts for not bringing in Kershaw to save the game instead of whoever he would have brought in.

  143. The Yankees will open the ALCS on the road against the Houston Astros. Whichever team wins this series will also win the World Series against the AAAA National League representative.

  145. Houston Astros and New York Yankees. The two best teams with the best players in MLB. One wins and the other loses. The best versus the best, the way it should be. Don't miss any of the games, it should be fun win or lose.

  192. Another 8PM game tonight which being a Sunday could easily have been scheduled 1,2, or 3 hours earlier. No matter, let's earn another win with production when it counts and playing as a team.

    ReplyDelete
  193. I truly believe (and have seen over 40 years watching Yankee baseball) that strong defense separates good teams from winning teams. To me, that's been the biggest difference in The Yankees this year. That and the ability to get hits, in addition to home runs, move runners over, and producing runs with hits when it counts scoring runs. Without a couple of those good to great defensive plays tonight, this is a different game. We still might have won, but the stress level on the pitchers would have been far greater. Great job by the whole team. Do it again today.

  194. Looking back at WIN METHODS blog posts. He told us so and it started with his first BLOOM AND GROW post on December 6, 2016. How the Yankees would "bloom and grow" into the team it is now, with the players they have now and the many others who are coming for many years into the future. He told us so and he has helped lead the Yankees back to greatness, all with adnomominity. WIN METHOD desires no accolades. However he is the biggest reason for the Yankees success for over 25 years now and continuing. Fans, it is WIN METHODS birthday in a week. Happy birthday WIN METHOD, and thank you for all you have done and this blog, the best in baseball. Don't be mad at me for posting this.
