WIN METHOD 2016 SEASON PART THREE

We are a week into spring training and I am in Tampa now for a few days before heading out to the colleges across America looking for the best potential WIN METHOD  players out there and available.

Everything is looking good so far this spring, but for the loss of Greg Bird for the season with shoulder surgery.  Bird is one of several YANKEE youngsters on the cusp of contributing to helping the YANKEES earn playoffs, win pennants, and win World Series in the coming years.  Louie Louie Severino is here and looking for a very strong 2016 as a starting pitcher, Dellin Betances is here and one of the top relief pitchers in all of Major League Baseball.  Gary Sanchez may make the team this spring and/or if not this spring, sometime this season.   Also right fielder Aaron Judge and shortstop Jorge Mateo are making a very strong impression right now this spring and either one or both while still going to start in the minor leagues this season, could be seeing action with the YANKEES this year.  There is also Rob Refsyder contending for a utility infield position.  Plus any of several youngsters may come north with the YANKEES as middle relievers.   Don't forget pitchers Lindgren and Kaprielian.  The ones who do not, could also quickly develop and prove themselves with more development in the minors and be ready at a moments notice to help in the YANKEES drive for the pennant this season.

WIN METHOD fans, remember it is not what a player does for themselves that defines the best players, but what they contribute to help their team make the playoffs and advance through the playoffs.  A sacrifice fly or advancing a runner, a single, a stolen base, a bunt can contribute to a win in any game, while a grand slam home run in a game you are winning 8-0 can be utterly meaningless to the team.   Any team whose pitchers earn the most WINS, will make the playoffs, no other pitching stat can do that, no other pitching stat is more important than WINS.  We all know it takes a team of players to help pitchers earn those wins and that is what determines the best teams and players in baseball.  Players contributing to help each other win games.  What you do for yourself means nothing if you do not help your team win by producing when it counts the most.

An issue was brought up by a poster a few months back regarding dating on blogger posts.  After contacting Google representatives it was discovered that Google allows the false dating of posts, however the false dating of a blog will be discovered when Google actually dates the publishing date of the post in its search engine.   In other words, a blogger falsely can post a blog post right now with a date of October 1, 2015, but when Googles search engine publishes the thread in its search engine it will have todays date as to when it was actually published.   The blog date can be altered but the actual publishing date cannot.

The real baseball season, when the games count, and producing when it matters is just about a month away and baseball, Americas greatest sport will begin its 2016 season.  Good luck to all the teams, but as always LETS GO YANKEES.  The YANKEE team is getting younger and farm system is starting to produce players more consistently.  Then there is always the possible WIN METHOD free agent when needed and available.

The views of the WIN METHOD blog will break the two hundred seventy million mark in the next week.  The WIN METHOD blog is viewed by people from all over the world and continues to be the best baseball blog in existence with the smartest most intelligent posters in the sports world.  WIN METHOD posters and followers continue to bury the stat frauds and fantasy game players on the baseball forums.  WIN METHOD  players know baseball and what it takes to win and be a winner.  The best teams and players win.

If winning at a .525 percentage is not considered dominant for an individual team, then why is it considered dominant for a league winning percentage? You're 15-4 record is fake and meaningless and ignores the ACTUAL on field wins that occurred.

Look it's my opinion. I just don't see the point at looking at it so narrowly as you are. I'm looking at the full scope of the wins. I don't see what's crazy about that at all.

Roy said...

And for the record, everyone, I understand what your saying "uh duh well 15-4 is so obviously dominant" is not adding anything at all to the conversation. Obviously 15-4 is dominant, but why in the world are we ignoring all the actual wins and losses?

The facts are that the AL wins 52.5% of the games they play against the NL. My opinion is that that is not dominant. A team winning at that rate isn't dominant, and in my opinion neither is the AL winning at the rate. That's my opinion.

Vinnie Ferrero said...

Nova goes this afternoon against the O's.

Guy Padikian said...

Nine days for real baseball.

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, from what you are saying """"" You're 15-4 record is fake and meaningless and ignores the ACTUAL on field wins that occurred.""""" Would you think that if a league wins 15 of 19 WS over a 19 year stretch? Very dominant. Sure you have your opinion and sure you can try to defend it. But others have opinions also and they try to defend theirs. In any case winning 15 of 19 is dominant.

Roy said...

Victor
Is there a prize for the fact that the AL won more games than the NL in those years? There's no on-field significance to that. By doing that your not looking at the full picture, and that isn't really debatable.

Patricia Piper said...

Nova can make it hard for Girardi with another strong effort this afternoon.

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, each and every win is the prize. The more wins you earn the better your chance of reaching the playoffs.

Roy said...

Victor
That is literally exactly what I'm saying, that's why I'm looking at the full picture and looking at EVERY win.

The 15-4 thing is not looking at each and every win.

Gene A said...

I wonder if anyone thought of both CC or Nova as the 5th starter depending on each pitchers propensity to do well against the team they would be pitching against when their turn is due. You know the schedule you are playing, so you can slot whichever one you need and the other is a bullpen option until he starts. You make be happy to get five or six innings out of either per start.

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, wins are always the goal and always determine the best. A team can win the WS and have had less wins during the regular season than any other playoff team. The wins they earned during the season qualified them for the playoffs. The wins during the playoffs determine the WS winner. The same for inter league play. One more win over the season means the league won the season. It goes to the stat fraud scenario of how meaningless stats can be and be manipulated. Example, the NL wins 5 inter league seasons by 10 games each equals +50. They lose the other 14 seasons by 3 games each season. -42 wins. Over the 19 seasons they are +8 games over the AL but lost the seasons with a record of 5-14.

Pete H said...

What determines dominant. 52-48, 53-47, 54-46, 55-45, etc. It is for each to decide.

Roy said...

Alright Victor, the whole point I've been making is that the AL is better than the NL, but they aren't dominating the matchups day in and day out. They've been consistently better, but when you're only winning 52.5% of your matchups, you're not dominating. Considering the point I'm making is based on a game by game aspect, then it only makes sense to look at the full picture of all games.

You rambled on about a lot of things that aren't related to this discussion.

Maybe you're not getting the point I'm making, I don't know...but I'm sort of done talking about it seeing that your clearly not getting my point..

Roy said...

Pete H - agreed on that, 52.5% could be dominant to some, it's not to me seeing as a team winning 52.5% isn't dominant. That's that.

Yanks lead 3-1 after 2.

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, I realize you do not want to accept the point of fact I made, as you called it rambling on. You have made it abundantly clear that you cannot accept 14-5 is overwhelming. Fortunately, most posters here do.

Roy said...

Ok victor now I'm going to kindly ask you to shut up because you're just beating a dead horse and not even listening to what I'm saying:

"Obviously 15-4 is dominant" - that's a quote from me.

I'm looking at the full picture of all wins-losses, and I'm done repeating that to you.

Cory said...

5-3 Yankees after 3.

Wilsonsway said...

Nova has given up 2 home runs in 3 innings so far.

Stan the Man said...

5-5 after 4. Nova gives up 3rd HR of game.

Domenic said...

7-7 after 7.

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, I don't think you are a dead horse. Just not a very smart horse. And I am certainly not beating you physically, but I am beating you with common sense. If you earn enough wins each season to win 15 seasons and lose only 4, you are dominant.

Roy said...

Victor
You're clearly an admin posting under another name as both our posts were posted at the same time. Pretty sad.

We're arguing different points, insomuch I'm looking at games and your looking at seasons. Do you see that?

Saul Irving said...

Now that is funny Victor.

candycane said...

8-8 after 9. Teams will play a 10th inning.

Roy said...

Ahahahah busted. Win Method posting under a different name all along!!!

That's awesome, caught red handed.

Roy said...

WIN METHOD GOT CAUGHT AND REMOVED HIS POST!!!

Wow, what a joke....

Victor IS Win Method. WHAT A PHONY!

Victor Grandozi said...

Roy, I am discussing dominant. You win enough games in a season to win the season and then win 15 of 19 season, that is dominant.

Roy said...

Victor - I saw you post under winmethod google account. delete the message, and then repost.

Don't deny it. If you do, that's really sad.

candycane said...

Yanks get one in 10th for a 9-8 lead. O's up.

Stan the Man said...

10-8 candycane. The Yanks are scoring faster than you can keep score. Also giving them up. Now 10-9 with bags full and no outs for Orioles.

bigbadwolf said...

Roy, you are delirious. I've been moderating the past few hours.

Stan the Man said...

Yanks go down 11-10.

Roy said...

Haha so pathetic, I know what I saw, and when I refreshed the page it was gone, and when I refreshed again it was reposted under Victors name.

You're really sad, a real man would own up to the truth.

bigbadwolf said...

Roy, there were several posts over a couple of hours in between your comment and Victors response to you. I guess they either magically appeared and disappeared. You may be hallucinating.

bigbadwolf said...

Or you may want to refresh more often. You may easily miss posts that have been posted and then they appear when you refresh.

Roy said...

Haha bigbadwolf, I'm not hallucinating anything. I now know for sure that WinMethod posts under different names, you're probably winmethod in reality. What a joke.

I'm done here, what a pathetic sham. You should honestly be ashamed that you would lie to people like you are.

bigbadwolf said...

Roy, the only one lying to people is you. You have been posting contrary opinions on every subject yo get involved in. You now make up a story to try to discredit one of the most viewed blogs in world. If we had anything to hide here, do you think for a minute that we would allow your posts to be viewed. Get over yourself, you ignore that there were several posts over several hours between what you claim and what is reality. We don't ban anyone. Have fun making a fool of yourself.

Roy said...

No lie at all.

This is no personal agenda, and I need not get over myself.

My conscience is clear, and I swear on my family's sake that was I saw was true. I think it's a cowardly thing you're doing.

Tom Loughlin said...

From your lips to our ears wolfie. I thought there was something odd about Roy and his incessant opposite opinion to everyone.

Cal Fuerst said...

Nova had a bad game. 6 runs in 4 2/3.

sid greenberg,nyc said...

Don't forget there is always the kid Bryan Mitchell who has had a better spring than either Nova or Sabathia.

Stan the Man said...

Girardi mentioned Mitchell during todays game.

Hugh Frazier said...

Stan, You mentioned Mitchell and he is getting the start tomorrow.

Yanks23245 said...

Big chance to make a statement for the kid.

NJYANKEE said...

What a lift for the team if Mitchell can develop the way WIN METHOD expected.

johnsondc said...

Let me beat a dead horse for a post and ask a question. Roy, do you think that over all these years, with all these posts at all times of the day, with many timed at the exact same minute, that just one, two, or three posters are doing all these posts all this time? That would be an inane idea on your part. You may deny it all you wish, but do not know what you are talking about and again you may deny it all you wish, you have embarrassed yourself many times. We have posts and views from hundreds of countries. Whine all you wish, but you are wrong.

Erica Nuyens said...

Thank you johnsondc. Common sense prevails over nonsense. Love ya, WIN METHOD

Greg Colinsky said...

We are only eight days from when baseball games count. Let go Yankees.

Roy said...

I don't think that at all. I saw a post from WimMethod's google account appear yesterday with the following text

"Roy, I am discussing dominant. You win enough games in a season to win the season and then win 15 of 19 season, that is dominant."

I immediately responded to it because it was clear that Winmethod had been using the Name/URL function to post under the Victor name.

After the page refreshed on my post, the post form Winmethod had disappeared. Minutes later, the same exact post reappeared under Victor's name.

Clearly Winmethod accidently posted from his google account without changing his name, realized he screwed up, deleted the post, and reposted under the Name/URL function. Not that difficult to do. None of this is a lie, I swear on all things holy this is all fact. It wouldn't be the first time WinMethod posted pretending to be some one else - look at an old comment on the "Manny Too?" post from a while back

Blogger WIN METHOD said...
brilliant stuff, i'm telling everyone i know about this site

Frank Sergi said...

Make it happen Mitchell.

johnsondc said...

Roy, you never give up being wrong. If all you say is what you want to believe, then why wouldn't WIN METHOD deleted the Manny page quote. That could be done any time since, but hasn't. Why, because it was his posting. Give us a break from your nonsense.

Roy said...

johnsondc
How am I supposed to know why he didn't delete it? It was years ago. Why was he posting pretending to be some one else in the first place?

Roy said...

I'm not gonna sit here and argue about it anymore with you though, it happened yesterday, I know what happened, I can't make you believe something happened if you don't want to.

I'm not on any personal vendetta to discredit anyone, and I'm certainly not going to make up lies to do so, everything I said happened exactly as I had said it did.

Is what it is, but the fact that it happened means WinMethod lost any and all credibility to me. I would respect it a lot more if he would own up to it.

Yanks up 1-0 after 1.

Mitchell with a 1,2,3 2nd. Stuff looks stellar. Another gem?

Wow! Mitchell has been strong. Ball is moving all over.

johnsondc said...

Roy, why do you think WIN METHOD was pretending. Could it be he did exactly what he intended to? You keep stating your view and think everyone should just accept them. Life doesn't work that way Roy.

Roy said...

Because he commented on his own post "brilliant stuff, i'm telling everyone i know about this site".

Pretty strange thing to say about your own website, If he did that purposely then he's the most egotistical person I've ever seen.

AAA said...

9th batter reaches on throwing error by Refsynder. Then Mitchell Ks next man for 3rd out. Mitchell has looked outstanding. If he can pitch like this consistently, start him and put Nova and CC in the bullpen. Mitchell has blown them both away this spring.

Mitchell looks like he found the key.

Again and again joek has been right in his proclamations and his facts. Miller was hit on right wrist. At least it wasn't his throwing arm. Lets hope he's OK.

Final 2-0 win.

Now we have to hope for the best on Miller. Nova was brilliant and has earned the rotation spot in my opinion. But Girardi makes the call. At least he has options and backups.

Millers wrist injury appears to not be catastrophic but is going for xray and scan.

Say a little prayer for Miller and no matter what, we will overcome and move on.

Xray on Miller wrist, negative. Scan hasn't been done yet.

Mitchell also injured today. Sprained toe covering first base. When it rains it pours.

CT scan shows a small fracture in Millers wrist. Consulting a specialist.

Norm Jackson said...

Is there a chance of bracing and protecting it while he pitches?

If there is a way to do it safely and not cause further damage, it will be done.
