WIN METHOD baseballs best blog

The WIN METHOD, baseballs number one blog, the blog that separates facts and winning from fantasy games and losers has just surpassed seven million views from fans all around the world. Fans from over one hundred countries spanning the globe have visited the WIN METHOD blog and have posted comments. Fans if you really want to understand baseball and what it takes to win and the be the best, welcome. However, if you want to bury your head in the sand, recite, and spew meaningless individual statistics, this is not the place for you.

Updating all WIN METHOD fans. Due to hurricane Irene and the havoc it caused throughout the mid eastern states this blog was unable to receive any comments made by all of you. Major communication and transmission lines where severely damaged by the hurricane and there was no land line phone service, no cell phone service, and no internet service for people here in North Carolina. Phone and internet service was restored and still is being restored for some piece meal. This blog was out of service for over one week and all of your comments during that period have been lost in space. We are up and running again and the YANKEES are making their final push to the playoffs and the second season.

The YANKEES just completed a series in boston against the redsux winning two of three games and as we play the final month of the season we are in virtual tie with the sux for first place, with both teams more than likely to make the playoffs. Since coming off the disabled list with a calf injury, Derek Jeter has taken his team on his back and kept the YANKEES at the edge of first place and in a great position to make its final run in the final month of the regular season.

The YANKEES have added several players to the roster as of September 1st, including highly touted WIN METHOD selectee Jesus Montero. Now if we can only keep Montero away from Afraud and being contaminated, Montero may have a very jeweled career in front of him helping the YANKEES to playoffs, pennants, and World Series titles.

Another reminder to you stat frauds out there. We all here at the WIN METHOD are still waiting for any of your ilk to post here and explain just how your losing players are better than the WIN METHOD champion winning players. You stat frauds are missing out on what baseball has to offer, but then again you have your brain dead fantasy leagues to play with yourselves.

If Jeter and Cano stay hot, they can carry us a long way. Grandy and Tex will produce as usual and are important. Anything from Arod would help, but I don't really expect much from him.

Teena/Bronx said...

No weather problems today. Get the job done guys, we are behind you.

Yankeeforever said...

Scheduled starters, CC in game 3 and AJ in game 4 if needed.

Wake up Arod, we could use your help. Lets go Yankees.

Saul Irving said...

Tigers score first on Cabrera 2 run homer in first. 2-0 Tigers after 1 1/2.

Still 2-0 Tigers after 5. Yanks don't have a hit yet. Jeter has made the two hardest hit ball outs.

Zhaire said...

Almost. Series tied 1-1. On to Detroit.

The Captain cost us today. He will rebound and carry us.

Deb F said...

There goes my 3 straight prediction.

Cory said...

At least we used up their bullpen aces for tomorrows game. Ours are all fresh.

Warren Hammond said...

Yep, Jeets had a bad game and it cost us.

Eddie OConnor said...

How about Afraud getting booed off the field after each at bat. Our cleanup hitter is 0 for the series.

Felix Lopez said...

CC gets them tomorrow. We have the pen and they don't. Lets hope we don't even need the pen except for some work.

Gus Papa said...

The difference between Jeter and Arod is that Jeter will bounce back and give us good games, while more than likely Arod will not.

Gene D said...

CC may have an edge over Verlander in going with short rest. May make the difference.

Tom Hagen said...

You don/t win too many games when you get one bloop single over six innings.

Patricia Piper said...

A game I wish we wouldn't have lost today. Now it's 2 of 3.

Ken Shepherd said...

Need ten more wins and we need to get one tonight. Be the horse CC.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Being positive, Garcia out pitched Cliff Lee yesterday. They both got losses but Garcia cost a lot less than Lee would have and we would be in the exact same position as we are now.

Giambino said...

We need this one CC. Your the man.

Randy Wilson,CO said...

Team effort tonight. Everybody pulls their weight and covers for each other.

Tom Loughlin said...

Tonights game may very well be the biggest of the year so far.

Sharon/NC said...

Lets go Yankees, lets go Yankees, lets go Yankees.

Erica Johnston said...

It's going to be a long night, but if we win that is all that matters.

AAA said...

Dominate CC. throw hard, throw strikes.

johnsondc said...

Rock and roll time guys. We have to do it now. Just do it. WIN METHOD baseball. That's why you are here.

Mike Smith said...

We had a bad game yesterday. Can't have to many bad games in a playoff series, or you go home to watch.

Dan Geddes,TN said...

Everyone contributes tonight, everyone.

Zhaire said...

Score first guys and hold it.

Stan the Man said...

Jeter is back, singles to open game, Granderson follows with triple. Yanks up 2-0 after 1.

Greg Petroski said...

CC not sharp tonight. Three DPs have saved him in the first three innings.

2-2 after three.

Steve said...

3-2 Tigers after 5.. If we can score the bullpen is going to have to win this game. CC may be done for the night.

Steve said...

Gardner ties game with 2 run double in the 7th. Then Soriano surrenders HR in bottom of 7th. Tigers up 5-4 after 7.

RLA said...

5-4 Tigers after 8. Arod still 0 fer the series. One more chance and then it will be AJ to save the day tomorrow.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Isn't it amazing. the Yankee season comes down to AJ.

Yankeeforever said...

A real tough loss. Must win tonight or our season is over.

Alex Antonious said...

I am trying to forget last night. AJ can salvage his entire season witha win tonight.

Linda Pardo said...

CC let us down. Now AJ becomes the man of the hour. Baseball is an amazing game.

Carl Hooks said...

Save us AJ. Shut them down.

Gus Papa said...

Win tonight or the season is over. We must rise to the occasion.

Patricia Piper said...

Do it AJ, lead the way. Lineup, cover AJ and score some runs. Gring us a game five.

Al Ashton said...

Our future rides on AJs arm. How ironic. The Lord works in mysterious ways and lays opportunity at your feet.

will-i-am said...

A couple of games where the lineup gets us many runs won't hurt, but that may be hard with the hole in the cleanup spot.

Victor Gandozi said...

It ain't over yet. Lets go home and win this series.

Bob Behan said...

Up late again, this time to see us win.

Ty Keel said...

Get the job done. WIN.

bigbadwolf said...

AJ gets out of jam in first. No score after two.

Steve said...

Jeter with a booming 2 rbi double to centerfield puts Yankees up 2-0 after 3.

Stan the Man said...

4-1 Yanks after 5. Key hit, Granderson rbi double.

Steve said...

Still 4-1 Yankees after 7. Granderson and Jeter defense has been spectacular and their hitting has done it all so far.

Stan the Man said...

It isn't over yet, but Yanks break it open in the 8th, now up 10-1.

Steve said...

Hughes in for the 8th and likely the 9th. No need to use pen.

johnsondc said...

AJ carries the day. Six innings of one run ball for the win. We come home for the deciding game Thursday night.

RLA said...

We needed this from AJ and the lineup scored some runs. Lets do the same in the rubber game.

Mickey Morch said...

Looks like Nova will start the game Thursday with a well rested bullpen ready to back him up.

Alex Antonius said...

10-1 after eight. Hughes looks good and is throwing real hard.

YankeeMike said...

Logan in to start the 9th. Probably to get some work. This game is ours.

Harry Stavris said...

Theeeeeeee Yankeeeeeeeeees Winnnnnnn.

Teena/Bronx said...

Everybody rest up for the next game. Lets go Yankees. We are home and we are going to win.

Tom Loughlin said...

It's over final 10-1. AJ saves the day.

William Mensom said...

Grandymans two catches yesterday may have been the ultimate difference in the game. His first inning catch saved three runs and changes the entire complexion and flow of the game. His catch in the seventh saved a run and may have also altered the final outcome.

Erica Nuyens said...

Here he comes to save the day. Aj is on the way. Great game AJ.

RLA said...

We are coming home to win this and go to the next round starting at home. WINS is all that matters stat frauds.

Cory said...

We win tomorrow and put the Tigs back in their cage.

Domenic said...

Just need to pitch and hit tomorrow like we did yesterday.

Nick Polito said...

How much can Nova keep giving us. The kid has been magnificent under the brightest lights and on the biggest stage. very possibly a future 'ace'.

Patricia Piper said...

Nice must win game last night. Next must win game, tomorrow. Take it guys.

Stan the Man said...

Take care of business tomorrow. Put our house in order. Then move on to ALCS.

johnsondc said...

This series so far has been a stat frauds nightmare and once more illustrates just how meaningless individual stats are.

Zhaire said...

One more win to reach the final four of the greatest sport in the world.

AAA said...

Tonight we put the Tigera away for the winter.

johnsondc said...

I just want to say a word about defensive metrics and stats. First off, if you hear people recite them, quote them, or believe in them, RUN AWAY. These stats are some if not the most meaningless, useless, man made, convoluted, ill-conceived stats ever devised. The people who use them are utter fools who know nothing about baseball.
Secondly, that is why the stat frauds are afraid to post here and debate their garbage. Because what they believe is utter garbage. They come here and they get buried with fact, common sense, logic, and baseball knowledge. In other forums, they argue and squabble amongst themselves and then try to persuade fans that the poorer fielders are the best, and that the best fielders are not that good.
Three, thank GOD for the WIN METHOD.

Benny Pake said...

It is not time for our season to end yet. Lets take it to them and stick it to them tonight.

William Mensom said...

Being one of several older baseball sages here, I have to agree with you whole heartedly johnsondc. Kudos on your insightful post.

Tony Gigante said...

Lets go Yankees. Live to fight another day.

Right on johnsondc.

Robert Mandell said...

The people who create man made stats for any sport and the scum of the world. Only a complete idiot would believe or follow them. Well, hello baseball forums.

Gus Papa said...

From what I have read, the corrupt stat fraud baseball minds who have developed and or created formulas to judge a players ability have been refuted my as many if not more baseball minds who look as these formulas for what they are, utter garbage.

Teena/Bronx said...

Do it Ivan. Be the hero. Shut them down. Lead the way again Jeets, everybody hits, make it easy.
It all comes down to WINS stat frauds, nothing else matters.

Victor Tinzik said...

Great post johnsondc. I agree entirely. Baseball is played for the team to win, individual stats are only a score keeping tool. That is why the best players and teams win. WIN METHOD states it very clearly, to be the best you have to win.

YankeeMike said...

All hands will be on deck tonight. Would love to see Nova go six innings of shutout ball.

Dan Geddes,TN said...

I want to win tonights game so much. I would hate to go out of the playoffs what with the sux having the biggest September failure in baseball history not making the playoffs at all.

Steve said...

This is what the stat frauds are unable to understand and/or to stupid to understand. Performance in a game like tonights has far more value than performance in a regular season game. Lets perform like WIN METHOD players and take tonights game.

Izzy Hernandez. said...

We have the best team. We post on the best baseball blog. We know baseball. Thus, we are not min numbed stat frauds.

Kev Mac90 said...

Three hours to game time. Lets get serious and lets play baseball at its best.

Kenny Shepherd said...

Score first and often. Lead it off Jeets.

Teena/Bronx said...

We are looking at fantastic weather for the game and looking forward to a fantastic Yankee win.

Warren Hammond said...

Still the best baseball blog there is. Keep up the great work.

Linda Pardo said...

Positive thoughts. We can and we will win.

Erica Johnston said...

Three series in the first round all come down to one game. this is the greatness of baseball and what make it the greatest game. Lets get excited. Go Yankees.

Randy Wilson,CO said...

Get it done guys. It ain't over until we lose and we ain't losing tonight. Let go Yankees, lets go.

Patricia Piper said...

30 minutes and I'm excited.

Giambino said...

This is it. the best baseball has to offer. Come on Yankees. Lets do it again.

Saul L said...

Nova allows two solo home runs in the first. We will come back.

Stan the Man said...

2-0 Tigers after two. Girardi pulling out all the stops, Hughes in to start the third.

Steve said...

Hughes in for the 3rd.

RLA said...

Minor rally for Yanks in 3rd, but Cano leaves 2 men on.

Steve said...

2-0 Tigers after 3.

Steve said...

Hughes goes 1 1/3 then Girardi uses Logan to get 2 outs in the 4th. Lets score some runs.

Stan the Man said...

Yanks load bases with one out, but Martin and Gardner both pop out. tigers still up 2-0 after four. CC on to start the fifth.

Lee Askew said...

We need runs, bad.

Steve said...

CC can't give us a scoreless inning, allows a run for a 3-0 tiger lead with Yanks coming up in the 5th.

Izzy Hernandez said...

Come on guys, you are making this hard. Lets go Yankees.

RLA said...

Cano solo HR. 3-1 Tigs after 5.

Saul L said...

Soriano gets DP to close out Tiger 6th after CC walks a man on. Still 3-1.

Alex Antonius said...

Scherzer come in to pitche the 6th for Detroit. 3 up 3 down.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

Time is growing short. Three more innings to erase a 3-1 deficit.

Yankeeforever said...

Afraud is killing us. Get rid of him.

Saul L said...

With one out Jeter, Granderson, and Cano single to load the bases. Up comes the fraud and he fails again striking out and looking like a washed up steroid abuser. Tex then walks to cut the Tiger lead to 3-2 after seven as swisher also looking bad again strikes out to end the inning.

bigbadwolf said...

3-2 Tigers after seven. This is hell.

Steve said...

Robertson in for the 8th. We have two more chances.

Stan the Man said...

In Yankee 8th after 2 outs Gardner singles and then Jeter on the first pitch hits ball to right field wall and catch is made with right fielder as back to the wall. Tough luck.

Saul Irving said...

Rivera in for the ninth. One more turn for the Yankees and it will be Granderson, Cano and Afraud unless he is pinch hit for. Anyone gets on and Tex will have a shot.

Izzy Hernandez said...

Mo mows them down. Three up three down. Last chance, one run ties, two wins it. What a great game. We have had our chances.

sid greenberg/nyc said...

How fitting, Tiger closer Valverde strikes out Afraud on three pitches over the heart of the plate.

Linda Rice said...

It's over. Tigers win 3-2. Afraud gets the series goat horns. What a bum.

RLA said...

Our season is over. Arod is done, steroids have rendered him relatively useless.

Anonymous said...

Good bye Yankees. See you next year.

Zhaire said...

How depressing. Bases loaded twice with one out and we fail twice.

Alex Antonius said...

CC gives up a run that should never have happened. He failed us too.

Gus Papa said...

Someone bring up the useless stats tomorrow please or I'll do it. But I think we out scored, out hit, and out pitched the Tigers but lost the series. Why, because stat are meaningless and only WINS count. The tiger won three and we didn't. that make them the winner and the better team.

Vinny Ferrero said...

I've had it with Arod. Teach Montero to play third base and chuck the fraud.

Patricia Piper said...

We gave it a try and had our chances. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Jeters shot was so close.

Robert Mandell said...

I'm not going to work tomorrow.

Steve said...

Here are the composite stats. Yes the Yankees out scored, out hit, and out pitched the tigers. But those are meaningless stats used only by the stat frauds for their demented fantasy games. The Tiger won the series because they were the team that produced WHEN it counted and the Yankees did not.

Detroit 17 runs or 3.2 runs per game and 36 hits or 7.2 hits per game.
Yankees 28 runs or 6.3 per game and 45 hits or 9.0 hits per game.

Wins WIN METHOD fans. That is what counts. It has been proven over and over time after time.

Victor Bruno said...

It could be said that Girardi cost us the series. He is to much a players manager. Torre may well have kept Afraud off the roster, or at least batted him in the 7,8, or 9 hole. that alone may have made the difference in winning or losing. Best scenario would have been Afraud off the roster.

Al Ashton said...

I will now try to go to bed. A terrible loss and a rotten way to end the year. Steroid users should be banned from the game.

Sean Smith said...

I can't believe our season is over. We can only try again next year, with hopefully a younger infused team of talent on the horizon. Our albatross right now is the one and only fraud of the game, Afraud.

Erica Nuyens said...

Wait till next year. I would like to ask a question of all the WIN METHOD fans here. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH AROD?

johnsondc said...

Sad to say Erica, I think we are stuck with Afraud. No other team would pay his outlandish salary. A couple of teams may want him if we pay most of his salary, but that likely will not happen. The Yankees signed him in the hope he would bring in massive amounts of revenue as he attempted to break Hank Aarons life time home run record. Arod, being a steroied abuserfor most of his career does not qualify for any individual records even though MLB accepts them. Steroid abusers are banned from WIN METHOD records and any individual recognition except that these players cheated the game, and the fans, while reaping profits for themselves. Look how many are paying the price either with body deterioration or defamation or both. Afraud lives with both. He is a disgrace.

Steve said...

Not the way to end our season, but we will come back and fight again next year, hopefully a stronger.

Erica, it appears we are locked in a sealed box with no way out in regards to Rodriquez. if he is in the lineup he must bat 7th or 8th. He is useless in the cleanup spot and creates a hole in the lineup as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Ray from Boston said...

May I express my sincere condolences to the Yankees. You guys got to play five more games than us. Whopppee losers. ROFLMAO

Tom Loughlin said...

We are trapped with Arod. We made the biggest contractual mistake in the history of baseball by signing Arod. WIN METHOD said it all along since Arod first became a free agent, that Arod was not WIN METHOD and WIN METHOD has been proven right.

Sharon/NC said...

Thanks Ray. At least we can say 28 in 12.

Claude Reeves said...

We regroup and retool over winter and try again next year. If push comes to shove, I say just pay Afraud to stay him. We can succeed without him. Afraud is a sideshow like at the circus.

Vladimir Tinzik said...

Arod has lived his life as a cancer, on and off the field. But for his money he is a loser, missing out on the best life has to offer.

Steve said...

Mike Francesa stated today that there was no way Jesus Montero could play an infield position. that is a great sign to try Montero at third base and get Arod out of the lineup.

Mike Smith said...

The series stats defines the WIN METHOD on how important it is for players to produce WHEN it matters as opposed to how much or how many they produce. WHEN leads to WINS.

Giambino said...

If we offered anyone Montero or Afraud for a quality starter, I bet any team would take Montero.

Sharon/NC said...

Without the Yankees in the playoffs baseball is not the same.

WIN METHOD said...

How about this WIN METHOD fans. All four playoffs in this years first round was won by the team that scored less runs during their series. The Phillies scored 21 and St. Louis 19, but St. Louis won the series 3 games to 2. Next, Arizona scored 25 runs and Milwaukee 23, but Milwaukee won the series 3 games to 2. And the topper of all was Tampa scored 21 runs and Texas scored just 16, but Texas won the series 3 games to 1. Explain that away stat frauds, you ignorant fools.

johnsondc said...

Great stuff as usual WIN METHOD.
