WIN METHOD --- SPRING TRAINING 2018

The YANKEES play their first spring training game of 2018 tomorrow.  The players, the team, and the fans are looking forward to a very good season in 2018.  The playoffs are a must, and then advancing far as they can through the playoffs is the goal.  With hopefully getting to and winning the World Series the ultimate goal.

There are so many youngsters in this camp and in the YANKEE minor league system who are blooming and growing, each at their own rate.  Many of which will help the YANKEES win games this season, next season, and in future seasons.  Keep an eye out for Jhony Brito in the future. He could be special. And we all know success, greatness, and being the best can only be earned with wins and winning.   WIN METHOD fans who have read and posted on this blog for almost a decade now already know this.  You newcomers to this blog will learn real baseball here, not fantasy games, not with fake stats, and not with man made convoluted formulas that have no real value and are therefore meaningless.   You can't be the best unless you win.

The YANKEE acquisition of Giancarlo Stanton, who has always wanted to be a YANKEE and who used his power to negate trades and to what team he would be traded to forced the Miami Marlins into trading him to the YANKEES.  Stanton added to the lineup of Judge, Sanchez, Bird, Gregorius, and others will make for a very formidable offense.

The YANKEES have a couple of rookies looking to make their MLB debut this season with YANKEES.  Miguel Andujar and Gleyber Torres at third base and second base will make their debuts at some point this season as they bloom and grow.   Rookie pitchers Chance Adams and Justus Sheffield both may have an impact at some point this season for the YANKEES.

As the spring training games begin, lets all hope for a healthy injury free spring and much blooming and growing.  LETS GO YANKEES!

  2. Healthy and injury free for the season would likely make for a very very good season.

  3. WIN METHOD, I have read where fans are talking how good the farm system is and how did it happen. They mention the selection of players with good character, etc. The stat frauds refuse to use the name WIN METHOD. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

  4. We have all seen Guy Padikian's spring training game countdown using player numbers. Here is something amazing about the eight players he used and their uniform numbers 1 thru 8.
Of the eight players, three were outfielders, and there were one each of a first, second, and third baseman, a shortstop, and a catcher.
    Outfield, Ruth(3), Mantle(7), DiMaggio(5).
    1b, Gehrig(4). 2b, Martin(1). 3b, Torre(6). ss, Jeter(2). c, Berra(8).

So, the numbers 1-8 could field all positions. Amazing.

Here is the best part. The eight players played in 64 World Series winning 48 of them equalling .750 baseball. Simply astounding.

One more, the time frame between start of the earliest career to the end of the last was 100 years.

  5. jimbo, Also, all the players are in the HOF except Jeter who will be in when eligible in another year or two. Truly amazing. And that is why the Yankees are a dynasty forever.

  6. What great information, thanks everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The Yankees have achieved what no other team will ever achieve and how did they do it? With WINS and WINNING.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I have not seen the above information anywhere, ever. Another reason why the WIN METHOD is the best blog/forum in the world. Great stuff, great information, great posters.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 1. Luis Cessa starting for Yankees tomorrow in first spring game.
    2. WOW! Those great players won 3 of 4 of every WS.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Steve, I have to laugh every I read somewhere someone saying has has the Yankee farm system come around so quickly. The farm system has always produced. It was just that George always wanted to win now and bought proven talent, and now all produced as they got older and one was one of the biggest corrupt cheats in baseball history. If anyone wants to know why the Yankees do so well, it is right here. They just have to stop denying the truth and realize their made up formulas are garbage can liners.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Where will all the Yankee starters wind up this spring. Several will have to go to Scranton, but man-o-man are we loaded. And we didn't have to spend big bucks on anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  12. First game tomorrow. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  13. jimbo, nice find. I hadn't realized that about those guys. How would like that team. They had a heck of a lot of wins.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yanks up 3-1 after six and an uneventful game with mostly secondary players seeing most of the action.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Slow and easy, no injuries.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Final 3-1 win. Yes wins and losses are to a degree meaningless in spring training. But it is usually better to win than lose. Everyone contributes. Yanks uses five pitchers.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks for this blog. A place of sanity and wisdom backed up with fact.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Domingo German starting pitcher tomorrow.

It looks like Boone wants to see everybody in action.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yanks defeat Pirates 4-1 on Billy McKinney 3 run HR in 9th.

    ReplyDelete
  26. McKinney may have more value to the Yankees than Frazier. Left handed bat, plays outfield and has been playing first base which he did today. You gotta do what you need to do to reach the big time.

    ReplyDelete
  27. No matter how you slice it, the Yankees are going to have an awful lot of really good players at Scranton.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Jordan Montgomery starts tomorrow against the Phillies.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Monty will be looking for a rotation spot.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey fans, 10 months until Christmas. Be wise shop early, get great prices, wrap and label your gifts, store them safely, and come November, be done. You will enjoy the season much more.

    Torres at shortstop today.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Boone sure is giving everyone playing time.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Today's game will be my first look at players this spring. Planning my schedule to be able to see as many as I can.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 3-0 Yankees after one.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Justus Sheffield first Yankee pitcher to get lit up. Sheffield gives up 3 runs, 2 on a booming HR in his second inning of work and doesn't finish inning.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Final 8-3 win. There is much talent in this Yankee organization and we all know where it comes from.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sonny Gray listed to start tomorrows game.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Gray got a new lease on life when he became a Yankee. Hope he makes the most of it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. yankeelover, I agree. He should have no excuse. Throw strikes and stop nibbling.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Speaking of throwing strike, Monty looked really good today.

    ReplyDelete
  42. We have had at least ten pitchers throw two innings each already. Not a bad sign in the first week.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yankees play first spring training night game tonight against Phillies at 6:30.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The Yankees have used 15 different pitchers so far.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Wait until everything and everybody shakes out and we come down with a starting team and starting lineup.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Gray could have a major affect on the Yankee season. Depending if he pitches like Grayskies of blue skies.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Monday 2/26 6:35pm
    Sonny Gray (R)
vs. Phillies - Ben Lively (R)
    1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
    2. Gary Sanchez (R) C
    3. Greg Bird (L) 1B
    4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
    5. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
    6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
    7. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    8. Billy McKinney (L) RF
    9. Tyler Wade (L) 2B

Sanchez in for first time. A little more oomph in the lineup.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yankees win 4th straight spring game on Andujar 2 out walk off home run in bottom of 9th.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Would have been fun to see if it was televised.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Chad Green Yankee starter for tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Adams struggled last night in his first outing, just going an inning. Not a good first impression.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Tuesday 2/27 1:07pm

    7. Ronald Torreyes (R) SS
    8. Billy McKinney (L) LF
    9. Shane Robinson (R) RF

    ReplyDelete
  53. I look at all these guys and know that many are going to AAA, and Scranton is going to have one heck of a team this season.

    ReplyDelete
  54. We still haven't seen Tanaka, CC, Louie Louie, Judge yet.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Also haven't seen Kahnle, Robertson, Chapman, Betances, and Shreve.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yankee kiddee corps pounding the ball today. Andujar HR, Florial triple, Payton 3 rbi double and others.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yankee get their fifth consecutive spring training win today 9-8.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yankees win 9-8 for fifth straight win. The Yanks used many pitchers and several got hit hard. Most were secondary low level players. Andujar with his 2nd spring HR in back to back games. How are you gonna keep them down on the farm.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Luis Cessa scheduled to start against the Tigers tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  60. If I am not mistaken the next five games will be televised either over MLBTV or broadcast networks.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The big names should be seeing playing time with these games coming up. They are not playing for roster spots, they own them.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Look at it this way. Our main men have not been involved in this win streak. It is primarily the youngsters and fill ins. So, no waste of good karma.

    ReplyDelete
  63. High expectations, very high hopes. Lets go Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sure the games do not count as they count during the regular season, but there is nothing wrong with winning.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wednesday 2/28 1:05pm
    Luis Cessa (R)
vs. Tigers - Daniel Norris (L)
    1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
    2. Aaron Judge (R) DH
    3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) RF
    4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
    5. Greg Bird (L) 1B
    6. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
    7. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
    8. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
    Close to opening day lineup?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Where's Andujar? Only difference is Andujar should be at 3b and Drury at 2b so Torres can get his 2-3 weeks in at Scranton.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hope the big dogs don't lose today. The pressure is on them since the young pups have won five in a row.

    ReplyDelete
  68. The difference is the youngsters are trying to show what they can do, and established players only have to get ready for the regular season. But winning is better than losing.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Cessa hammered in 3rd giving up 4 runs putting the Yankees down 4-2.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Warren goes three shutout innings. Betances same old same old giving up run and not finishing inning. Yanks down 5-2 in 6th.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Yankee youngsters score 4 times in 8th to even score 6-6.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Final, Yanks finally lose 9-6. So many youngsters showing a lot of heart in loss. And some showing they may never get to the majors.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I watched the whole game and the last two innings were real crazy. The 8th and 9th innings reminded me of a little league game. I do not mean it negatively, but many crazy things happened over those two innings. If it was a regular season game I probably would have gone berserk, but being a spring training game with a bunch of low level kids involved it was fun.

    ReplyDelete
  74. CC starts tomorrow and Tanaka Friday.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Spring training is starting to heat up.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Cessa failed today giving up four runs in the third inning without getting an out.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Of our five starters at the end of last season only Monty and Gray have pitcher so far this spring.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Phillies today at 1PM. National TV on MLBN.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Thursday 3/1 1:05pm
    CC Sabathia (L)
    @ Phillies - Nick Pivetta (R)
    1. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
    2. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    3. Aaron Hicks (S) LF
    4. Miguel Andujar (R) DH
    5. Danny Espinosa (S) SS
    6. Tyler Austin (R) 1B
    7. Austin Romine (R) C
    8. Jace Peterson (L) 2B
    9. Jake Cave (L) RF

    Back to the winning players....LOL

    ReplyDelete
  80. Andujar in cleanup spot. Nice.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Andujar with another home run to lead off the second.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Andujar hits second home run of game for a 2-0 lead. Both were on first pitches. Manny who?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Just what I have seen. CC looked really really good in his two innings of work. Ellsbury has looked pathetic at the plate the entire first week of spring.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Tyler Austin, Brandon Drury, and Billy McKinney all with HRs to go with Andjular's 2.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Back on track with 6-4 win.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Tanaka starts tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Has anyone seen or heard about Louie Louie?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Al Ashton, the Yankees are taking it easy with Louie Louie because he threw 209 innings last season and it was a good size jump over 2016. They want to keep him strong so they are not pushing him this spring. He will be in a game this coming week and ready for the start of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Tanaka is starting tomorrow and Chance Adams is starting Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Cashman has likely already informed Machado that if he wants to play for the Yankees it will be a short term low cost deal as a utility infielder.

    ReplyDelete
  91. We play Atlanta at 1:00PM today.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Friday 3/2 1:05pm
    Masahiro Tanaka (R)
vs. Braves - Scott Kazmir (L)
    1. Brett Gardner (L) LF
    2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
    3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
    4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
    5. Greg Bird (L) 1B
    6. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
    7. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
    8. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF
    9. Tyler Wade (L) 2B

Could be opening day lineup but for Ellsbury?

    ReplyDelete
  93. yankeeforever, very nice and I hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Which Yankee will hit the first home run today? Watching these guys is better than watching soft pitch home run derby. The opposing pitchers in real games are trying to get these guys out, not let them hit home runs.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Tanaka gets hammered in first giving up three runs.

    ReplyDelete
  96. You guys are all over the place with the players you like and dislike: if Machado wants to play for the Yankees and win: doesn’t that make him winmethod? Why the hate for him?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Tanaka gets hit hard in the second only getting one out and giving up one more run.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Andujar 2 rbi double in 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Tyler Austin walk off 2 run HR in 9th for 5-4 win.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Steven, why would you assume just because a player says he wants to win and wants to play for the Yankees, that he is WIN METHOD, and thus do what is needed to help his team win?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Lets not lose the fact that despite Tanaka's poor start and putting Yanks in hole 4-0 after 1 1/3 inning the other pitchers allowed nothing.
    1.Shreve 1 2/3
    2.Monty 3
    3.Kahnle 1
    4.Loaisiga 1
    5.Feyereisen 1
Best is, the Yankees came all the way back to win on walk off HR by Austin.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Tommy lee
Why would you assume he isn’t?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Chance Adams gets the start tomorrow. Could be a big one for him, either way.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Steven, likely for the same reason you may assume he is.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Looking at Machado in a common sense way, why spend 300-400 million on a player (WIN METHOD) or not when you more than likely have a better player at the position in Miguel Andujar on the cusp.

    ReplyDelete
  106. coryankee, no question. I think Machado may be a dirtbag. I don't like a player telling his manager where he wants to play rather than saying I'll play wherever you need me.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I find it somewhat interesting how several of the so called "best players in the game" can't help their team reach the playoffs consistently. However, the stat frauds always seem to have the answer to cover their fake evaluations of these players. It's their teammates fault.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yankees sign Adam Lind for spring training. He stays only if the Yankees place him on the 25 man roster.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Saturday 3/3 1:05pm
    Chance Adams (R)
    @ Red Sox - Brian Johnson (L)
    1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
    2. Greg Bird (L) 1B
    3. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    4. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
    5. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
    6. Danny Espinosa (S) DH
    7. Austin Romine (R) C
    8. Billy McKinney (L) RF
    9. Jake Cave (L) LF
Boone sure is playing everyone and giving them all a good look see.
Chance Adams needs to earn a rotation spot. He has to perform. It is up to him.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Yankees-bosux on MLBN at 1 today.

    ReplyDelete
  111. If Lind makes the team it pushes the youngsters down a notch.

    ReplyDelete
  112. If Lind makes the team and some kids go to AAA, it just makes the organization stronger and gives them an extra piece that some other team may need come late July. It makes our leverage that much stronger if we need something.

    ReplyDelete
  113. At this point in spring training, I can't see any unsigned free agent signing anything but a minor league deal right now. I have no doubt that Lind wanted to get into a major league camp as opposed to the MLPA camp. This way Lind sees real live game pitching.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I believe the Yankees should stick with the kids. The team already has enough power. On the other hand, Lind is no slouch and adds a veteran presence.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Still learning.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Boone doesn't seem to care where he bats guys in the lineup. He moves them all over, particularly the bloom and growers.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Adams with two scoreless innings today, but I thought he threw too many pitches.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Jill
You mean like how stanton never reached the playoffs before? Do you consider him to be a great player?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Yanks down 3-2 after six.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Andujar with two out hard hit rbi single in 8th putting Yanks up 5-3.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Steven, WIN METHOD decides who is WIN METHOD. I only express my opinions. Someone posted this before. If Machado is WIN METHOD and the Yankees want him, they will get him. I do not think Machado is WIN METHOD because of his actions. Just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Holder with final two scoreless innings closes out 5-3 win.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Jill, I think what Steven is unable to understand is the WIN METHOD. He likes to make up things. Too much of that going around.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Big thing with this game was for the Yankees this was a road game and usually only a very few regulars make a roadie. The Yankee pitchers were pretty much facing the sux opening day lineup and all their regulars. I think this was a bigger win than most fans realize. There is tons of depth on this team. You could split the top 50 guys in the Yankee organization and have two winning MLB teams.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Mucho
What exactly did I make up? All I said was that Stanton never reaches the playoffs.

That’s sad that you can only decide who’s a good player for the Yankees if some one else tells you so: how boring.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Chad Green starts tomorrow against the Rays and our old friend Nathan Eovaldi.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Steven, not just any someone else. It is WIN METHOD, the greatest talent evaluator in baseball.

    ReplyDelete
  128. NJYANKEE, Steven may not be smart enough to believe in the WIN METHOD if you go by all his opinions on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Jill
And as everyone knows - intelligence is measured almost exclusively by ones belief in a man not seen nor heard outside of a free google blog.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Steven, I have met WIN METHOD and work for him. That is another strike against you. Are you suggesting WIN METHOD would be more real if he paid for a site instead of blogging for free? That would be another strike. You have struck out so many times on this site that everyone has lost count of your foolishness. There are many people here who have met WIN METHOD. What is most interesting, you and anyone else wouldn't even know if you met him unless he told you.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I went to school with WIN METHOD in NYC. He wasn't WIN METHOD then. I have kept in touch with him all along and have been to games with him.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Guys, Steven will never believe any of you. He can't believe what he cannot see. There are countless thinks we all have never seen but we believe exist. I guess a higher IQ is needed.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Yankees have off day on Monday. Still no Louie Louie. Saving the best for last?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Sometimes it's hard to believe Steven could even be a Yankee fan. Why not, there are many stat frauds that are Yankee fans.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Nine spring training games with an 8-1 record with most of the innings played by and pitched by youngsters blooming and growing.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Steven is a hit and run con artist. He posts some garbage, sometimes, he argues a little bit, sometimes he disappears until his next hit and run.

    ReplyDelete
  137. The Yankees are at home tomorrow so the big guns should face Eovaldi. Might be fun to tune in if you can.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Johnsondc
And who are you? Has anyone here met you? Anyone can post anything on the Internet it doesn’t mean it’s true.

What would make him “real” would be one shred of hard evidence that he exists in the function he does. And that doesn’t exist, and you know that.

    Gil
Isn’t the whole point of the blog that people can come and post when they feel? Who exactly am I “conning”

    Yankeeforever
What does being a fan of the team have anything to do with believing in this guy?

    ReplyDelete
  139. Steven, yes, you can post what you feel. And so can I. You are a con artist, plain and simple. WIN METHOD has posted for a very very long time. Too many here have vouched for him.
You being a fraud, means you can't accept something and someone who does not believe in convoluted man made BS.

    ReplyDelete
  140. It seems that the people here who say they have met and or know WIN METHOD are not proof according to the proven fraud Steven. You gotta love those stat frauds.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Hobbs, but the stat fraud formulas are gospel according to them. WAR and stat frauds are garbage according to me.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Gil
Yikes- I think you should refresh your definition of con artist and fraud...

    Hobbs
Show me one piece of hard evidence. Literally anyone can post under any name they want here. Your arguments/evidence are borderline pathetic. Do you believe everything you read on the Internet? Serious question?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Steven, I do not think anyone believes everything they read on the internet. But I believe WIN METHOD. There is so much proof of so many people meeting him and the WIN METHOD has been around a very long time. Just too much documentation, even in this blog. Unless you are a fool and just don't want to see the proof.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Haha ok. This blog is the only documentation: or is there more?. And the only people that “met him” also happen to be the moderators.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Steven, what you posted is another lie. I posted above I have know him since going to school together. That was over 60 years ago and we have kept in touch all this time. We have gone to games together many times. There are none so blind as those unwilling to see. And there are none so stupid as those unwilling to understand.

Have you ever posted here before this? Your name doesn’t seem familiar

    ReplyDelete
  147. Got it! How convenient for you to come out of the wood work.

Didn’t know you were lurking there winmethod

    ReplyDelete
  148. I just witnessed WInMethod post something as Robert and delete it.

Might want to recheck who the fraud is: he posted a post from 2016 by Robert.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Steve, WOW! You are intoxicated or have gone off the deep end. Straighten up guy.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Nice Johnsondc.

That was really embarrassing and has proven winmethod to be a phony.

No Steven, here is my post from 2016. There are many others.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Amazing. How was I ever able to predict that would happen...

This is really sad actually. I’m going to let you be. Seek help.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Steven, If we had anything in the world to hide, your comments wouldn't see the light of day. You are documented proof of the stat fraud mentality. You will do and say anything to try to discredit the WIN METHOD. That is what is sad.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Ok Johnsondc, I have literally no incentive to lie. I know what I saw, and I certainly didn’t just take a lucky guess that Robert would repost something from 2016.

Winmethod posted as Robert and deleted it. Saw it with my own eyes. A fact.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Unfortunately we have a poster here in Steven who likes to take the WIN METHOD Yankee baseball forum into a rabbit hole. Being the most open baseball talk site possible, we accept and post all opinions and views. Steven says he can't believe in WIN METHOD because he hasn't seen him and has seen no proof that he exists, then Steven wants us to believe in something he says he saw but does not exist and no one else saw. That is the rationale of a very sick person. Steven most of the time doesn't talk baseball, the blooming and growing of young Yankee players, nor the greatness of the WIN METHOD. He will not be censored, and his posts will not be deleted as long as they are civil. His comments when wrong, biased, false, and lies will always be countered with correct information and intelligent opinions and views by the WIN METHOD followers, the most intelligent baseball fans in the world.
Now onward to baseball, todays game, spring training, and the season.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Still not lying, and don’t appreciate you calling me that. I can only tell you what I saw: again how would I have predicted exactly what “Robert” would post. I’ll let you have your fun though, since you’re the one who has to live with the lie.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Here is a post a week ago from Steven. His own words iw writing making up a negative story. Steven has no credibility.

""""""""""What happened here? Most popular blog just shut down completely at the onset of spring training?

Yes, Steven made up a story. Frauds are good at making up stories. And making up facts.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Documented irrefutable proof that Steven lied. The poor soul doesn't appreciate being called a liar. Well Steven, liar liar your pants are on fire.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Deb F, that is old saying. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  160. The top five Yankee catchers in spring training this season all have a batting average of .300 or above. Romine leads the pack at .667. Great backup.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Yankeeforever
That was actually an error- was wrong on that, my phone was going to an old link. Not a lie, just a mistake.

    Deb F
Irrefutable proof? You’re a truly interesting person.

  162. Sunday 3/4 1:05pm
    Chad Green (R)
vs. Rays - Nathan Eovaldi (R)
    1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
    2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
    3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
    4. Gary Sanchez (R) C
    5. Brandon Drury (R) DH
    6. Danny Espinosa (S) 3B
    7. Billy McKinney (L) 1B
    8. Ronald Torreyes (R) 2B
    9. Tyler Wade (L) SS
    Another Boone mixed lineup.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I liked Eovaldi. My best wishes for his success with the Rays. May he win every start except for his starts against the Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I can live with a few more losses this spring. Everything seems to be going to well. Law of averages?

    ReplyDelete
  165. Stanton has looked scary in left field losing two balls in the sun.

    ReplyDelete
  166. We are watching a game, talking baseball, and Steven has nothing to say. He has defined himself with lies and negativity.
    Yanks down 4-0 after 4.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Wow, Stanton with another misplay in the 5th.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Louie Louie info. He threw a simulated game yesterday. Three innings, 47 pitcher, 7 K's. Looked really pumped up.

    ReplyDelete
  169. KevMac, Good new about Louie Louie. He is not getting pushed, slow and easy wins the race.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Yanks go down 9-1 in a very sloppy lackluster game.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Off day tomorrow. Perfect time after an 8-2 start. Cuts in camp size likely coming soon. That will give more time to the contenders as the minor league camps are opening and need their lineups filled.

    ReplyDelete
  172. It is so nice reading about baseball and not Stevens BS. Sorry folks, I just had to say it.

    ReplyDelete
  173. There’s certainly some BS abound, unfortunately for you it isn’t coming from me

    ReplyDelete
  174. Monty is listed for Tuesday's game vs. the Tigers.

    ReplyDelete
  175. The LA Angels Ohtani has gotten off to a slow spring, but it is very early. Just glad he isn't a Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  176. coryankee, hear, hear.

    ReplyDelete
  177. So far so good this spring.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Louie Louie likely Wed. or Thurs. this week.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Stanton didn't look good in left today. I saw the replays. But a few other fielders for both teams had troubles also. It was very windy with a very bright sunny sky.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Watching Andujar walk to the plate and swing the bat, he seems to me to very confident. He is not afraid and he can hit the ball anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Robert Mandel
Are you a CCNY alum with winmethod?

    ReplyDelete
  182. Izy Hernandez, I agree. Lets see how he handles a slump if he has an extended one.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Andujar has been in the Yankee system for many years with a slow steady deliberate growth that is now blooming and growing. He is just coming of age and has many years ahead of him.

    ReplyDelete
  184. The interesting point with Andujar is every step up from rookie league up to AAA, he did not have great numbers until he reached AA and AAA. As the competition got tougher he got better.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Our highest rated rookie Gleyber Torres hasn't found his stride yet this spring. That may be a good thing for now. There is still three weeks to go and there would be absolutely nothing wrong with him going to AAA until he gathers his thoughts, extends Yankee control over him for an added year, and he is ready to make an impact in the big leagues.

    ReplyDelete
  186. I may want to do things differently, but I accept the decisions Yankee management makes regarding players. They have all the information that is needed, I (we) do not have anywhere the knowledge they do.

    ReplyDelete
  187. I have been around long enough to know to go with the flow. Let the manager manage and the GM make the deals.

    ReplyDelete
  188. Sometimes the best deals you don't make are the best ones for the team in the long run. I believe the Ohtani non deal was the best thing that could have happened for the Yankees. In this day and age I just can't see catering to a pitcher who wants to play a position also.

    ReplyDelete
  189. The way I look at signing free agents is....if you feel the guy will help your team and WIN METHOD OKs him, you offer him a really good deal and if he goes someplace else for more money and or years, let him go. Money is nice, but a little less money, playing for the Yankees and winning is as good as it gets.

    ReplyDelete
  190. I am going to follow how Clarke Schmidt progresses this season. WIN METHOD really liked him.

    ReplyDelete
  191. Back in action tomorrow. Things should start to pick up. Pitchers will start to add innings.
Position players will play a little longer and get an extra at bat here and there.

    ReplyDelete
  192. No TV listed for tomorrows game.

    ReplyDelete
  193. Lets how we bounce back after a 9-1 trouncing and a day off.

    ReplyDelete
  194. Tuesday 3/6 1:05pm
    Jordan Montgomery (L)
    @ Tigers - Francisco Liriano (L)
    1. Didi Gregorius (L) SS
    2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
    3. Greg Bird (L) 1B
    4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
    5. Gary Sanchez (R) C
    6. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
    7. Adam Lind (L) DH
    8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
    9. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B

How about this lineup. We are facing a left today. The only change against a left I would make is Gardner in LF, Stanton DH, Lind out. Gardner leads off and Didi in the 7 hole.

    ReplyDelete
  195. Monty completes three innings. Control off walking four, three in the second inning where he gave up one run pitching out of a bases loaded jam he created. Down 1-0 after three.

    ReplyDelete
  196. 2-2 after 6. Andujar has his worst game. K, DP, Popup, leaving five runners on base.

    ReplyDelete
  197. Yanks subs score twice in the eighth for a 4-2 lead capped by a steal of home by Shane Robinson.

    ReplyDelete
  198. Yank subs score three more in ninth capped by Billy McKinney three run home run and take 7-2 lead mid ninth.
