WIN METHOD Selection 2

Delving deeper in the WIN METHOD selection process. The interview is paramount to determining which players can help your team to success. Most baseball enthusiasts just look at stats and make their selections in that manner. Many teams interview players to some minor degree, but their selection is still made using misleading stats.
The WIN METHOD interview reaches the inner soul and beliefs of players. The WIN METHOD determines which players are wiling to help their team succeed over their own individual statistics. Players who are satisfied and accept hitting behind a runner, reaching base safely in any form to keep an inning going, accepting a single in a clutch situation, giving up their body to make a big time defensive play. The WIN METHOD interview was developed and is evolving over a 40 year period. Job seekers in the business world, many times, are hired on the basis of an interview. In other words, there are brilliant people that come from no-name schools that can help businesses succeed more than those from Ivy League schools. The same thing is true in the baseball industry. The greatest players can come from any background and from anywhere. That is where the WIN METHOD selection process comes in. Being used by only one team in Major League Baseball, it has made that team the most consistently dominant and successful team in baseball. The WIN METHOD is able to determine both what free agents and what draftees may be able to help the team and organization to the most success. The greatest asset of the WIN METHOD interview, is that the people being interviewed are not aware of the process they are undergoing. One caveat however, a player can be WIN METHOD for one team and not another, or he can be WIN METHOD for several different teams. It depends on the player. However, only one team truly knows if they have a WIN METHOD player or not.
Here's a tip to you readers, the next time you go for a job interview, be on your toes, prepare, and respond honestly. The great interviewer gives great interviews and can read through the BS.

Your WIN METHOD can be used in any facet of life. Success is not just about ones self, but making things better around you.

I asked for more, and you give more. I can't wait for the player ratings.

Aren't "Wins" a statistic (a measurement of success) and therefore deemed irrelevant by the WIN METHOD?

Wins are not an individual statistic. Wins(losses) are a statistic that determines the outcome of each game for each team. A win is the goal that each team strives for and why the games are played. It does help if you know what you are talking about when you comment.

Wins and losses do not determine the outcome of a game. They ARE the outcome of a game.

Statistic: A numerical value, such as standard deviation or mean, that characterizes the sample or population from which it was derived.

Yet the WIN METHOD supposedly discards numerical values instead relying on the psyche of each individual player.

Speaking of not knowing what you're talking about....

Yes, wins and losses are the outcome of the game, and the exact and most important reason the games are played. No individual statistic for any player comes near the importance of the outcome of the game. The WIN METHOD finds individual statistics meaningless in determining the value of any player. Individual stats only show if a players hits for 'x' average, how many HRs he may attain, etc. All of which fail to have the value or importance of the win for the team. A 3 run HR in the 8th inning of a game your team is winning 10-1 is totally meaningless to the team, but it does pad a players meaningless stats. In another game, you are tied 1-1 in the 9th inning. A walk, a steal of 2nd base, a ground out to 2nd moving the runner to third, a squeeze bunt to win the game. All vital compared to the meaningless 3 run HR. WINS always determines the best. I leave the meaningless individual stats to the losers.

So you agree then, that Wins are indeed a statistic?

Hm...that walk, stolen base, ground out and squeeze bunt are also all individual statistics.

I sense a flaw.

(A)Yes, wins are a statistic, however wins are not an individual statistic.

(B)Yes, the flaw is in your thinking. The point being how several players can all contribute to a teams win while on the other hand one player can do so much for himself while contributing nothing to the team.

Hey WIN METHOD, don't waste your time trying to make the stat fools understand. That is why they live by stats, they do not have the ability to understand the game or common sense.

I have known joek for several years now, since he introduced me to the WIN METHOD. He Knows his stuff and baseball. I have posted on countless baseball forums and am amazed how the stat fans would rather lose with individual stats than accept a method that acknowledges and proves the best 'WIN'.

There are some of us that aren't stat heads or this that just wish that both of you sides would just shut up and enjoy the game instead of arguing about it! Baseball doesn't exist to prove that someone is better than someone else, it exists so that talented athletes can play a game and people can go and watch it.

Baseball is just a game, don't take it too seriously. It doesn't matter if anyone is better if you're not having fun.

I always thought that winning determines who is best. The best players make a team best. Isn't the object of any game...to win!

I'm new here and was browsing the blog. I was amazed to see some posters knocking wins and winning. I see now, what is meant by stat frauds.

Baseball is a business. A big time money making business. Countless people, ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers, sales people, concessioneers, players, coaches, managers, scouts, front office, grounds keepers, etc all make their living off of baseball. Baseball it alot more than just a game.

Baseball is a business with the desired outcome to make as much money as you can. The way to do that is to put the best team on the field and WIN the most so people would want to come and spend their money to see the best WIN. WINNING is the sole single most important fact in making money and being the best. Screw the individual stat frauds.

Words from God, sometimes falls on deaf ears of the stat frauds.

I agree, in todays job market, no one gets hired without an interview. If you can't help my company, I don't want you, no matter who you are.
